So here's my take on the n8n Toolbox & Monitoring app. I've tested a bunch of workflow/automation apps and this one's a pretty solid mobile companion. The ability to monitor and manage your n8n stuff remotely is super convenient. And the features cover the essentials like running workflows, checking metrics, and adjusting settings. It's not the most polished app out there, but it gets the job done reliably. If you're a heavy n8n user, this is worth having on your phone.

Pros

  • Lets you control your n8n workflows from your phone
  • Monitoring for failed workflows is a lifesaver
  • Customizable settings like timeouts and logging
  • Works with both self-hosted and cloud n8n instances

Cons

  • The UI is a bit clunky and not the most intuitive
  • Execution metrics could be more detailed
  • Occasional bugs and crashes

Description

Been using the n8n Toolbox & Monitoring app for a couple months now. It’s basically a quick mobile client that lets you manage and monitor your n8n workflows when you’re not at your computer. Pretty solid app if you’re into workflow automation and management.

Here’s what you can do: You can activate workflows, check execution metrics, and even edit workflow variables right from your phone. There’s also a monitoring feature that alerts you when workflows fail – real handy. And you can tweak settings like timeouts and which logs to save. Took me a while to figure all that out but it’s actually pretty useful.

Look, if you use n8n for your work or side projects, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job of letting you control your n8n stuff on the go. Worth checking out.
