Been using CorrLinks Text Chat for a couple months now. It’s basically a chat app that lets you message people who are incarcerated at certain corrections facilities. Pretty solid app if you’re into staying connected with friends or family who are locked up.
Here’s what you do: you can send text messages, photos, and even audio clips back and forth. There’s also a directory that shows you who’s available to chat. And the app has some basic organization tools like tags and favorites – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you need a way to communicate with someone in prison, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface is a little clunky and the selection of facilities is limited – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if that’s what you need.
