Been playing PingMe – Second Phone Number for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you get a second phone number for stuff like bypassing SMS verification codes and making cheap international calls. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can get a US number through the app and use it to create accounts or receive verification codes across different platforms. And there’s also an option to make calls globally at affordable rates – it’s got a bunch of international numbers to choose from. And the eSIM/SIM features are pretty cool, took me a while to figure that part out but it’s useful.
Look, if you need a second number for work, travel, or just to keep things separate, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
