Been using Too Good To Go: End Food Waste for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you buy leftover food from local stores and restaurants at a huge discount. Pretty solid app if you’re into saving money and reducing food waste.
Here’s what you do: you open the app, browse the available ‘magic bags’ near you, and reserve one. And then you just go pick it up at the scheduled time. There’s also a feature where you can see what’s in the bag before you buy it, which is pretty cool. And the prices are seriously unbeatable – I’ve gotten some awesome meals for like 3 or 4 bucks.
Look, if you’re trying to save money and do your part for the environment, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – sometimes the selection is limited and the pickup times are inconvenient – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
