Been using Jebena – Ethiopian & Eritrean for a couple months now. It’s basically a cultural app where you can meet up with other folks from the same background. Pretty solid if you’re looking to connect with the community.
There’s a bunch of cool features – you can set your preferences to stay local or go global, chat with people, and even join group events. And took me a while to figure out how the matching works, but it’s not too complicated once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you’re into cultural/social apps, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to meet new people with similar interests.
