*Thank you for your quick work on fixing the issue. This has helped a lot Worked well until the last update. Now in group chats, only speech bubbles are displayed, not the usernames or profile pics of the person talking. I need both to verify who's saying what so this has become a problem. Manually selecting each speech bubbles to see who typed it is ridiculous

I like this app. It allows me to be more efficient, much more accessible to co workers and colleagues. it is super easy to use and overall adds simplicity to your work experience. If being forgetful of things is something your lacking, don't worry this definitely helps you stay account able in a positive way!!!

Doesn't like to open. Which is weird considering that's a major function for an app. came back to say that this is normal. the app takes FOREVER to open. IF it opens at all. back to edit because this app just takes FOREVER to load anything sometimes. Why does it struggle so much to just open a simple message? update: still struggling to open. feels clunky. is there a team that supports this app?

I can't believe I'm saying this about an app I use for work, but I *love* this app. Super easy to control the notifications so it doesn't bother me during my off days/hours, excellent and seamless functionality in all areas, and feature rich so it's a versatile all in one workplace comms app so I'm not juggling four apps like I have at every previous job. If I ever work someplace else that doesn't use it, I'll be recommending it!

I've had this app for a few years now, for 3 separate jobs, 2 at the same time, and it can be pretty nice and seamless as an employee. However, that's when the app wants to work, and this last few months have sucked. Messages no longer send notifications if my phone is not actively being used, which means mid shift I will not see messages as I'm not on my phone. Messages in the chat groups no longer have names, so I have no idea who's sending the messages now.

Started at a new restaurant in Durham that uses 7shifts. Typically I don't like technology at all. On this app, I've actually found several functions by myself instead of asking someone how bc I'm simply too tired of messing w/ apps. I like working at restaurants like Luna Rotisserie, bc whether it's handheld computer things to take orders and close out...or 7shifts to communicate schedules quick and easily and efficiently...they are tools to help us do our jobs better. I'm w/ that.

Obviously I use this for work. It is essential for me and everyone I work with. I have never had major problems with the app until recently. It won't ever open for me now. I've restarted my phone many times, and have uninstalled and installed the app. Still it won't actually open for me. It's really frustrating as I need this app to see my work schedule and be able to see and send messages to staff.

Update:11/27 day 2 of app not working... App doesn't work at all on Android phones. Anyone who has Android can't get their schedule. So a useless app for employees, and now they can't get shifts that are available. Thus costing missed shifts for the holidays. Thanks. I'm not sure why our restaurant still uses this useless service. There are too many issues.

I generally love this app, easy to use and very helpful. However, the most recent updates cause all messages to one area (e.g. FOH) to go in a continuous chain. You get a message of someone wanting to pick up a shift, then another message regarding something else, then someone replies to an earlier message, and it gets very confusing to try to figure out who they were responding to. I liked it much better when a new message opened up a new thread. Then you could tell which convo it went to.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7, and my work uses this app. It used to work fine, but now the notifications turn off on their own, and while there are shifts in the shift pool, none show up on the dashboard. This is really aggravating because my work requires us to stay on top of shifts and notifications but I'm not getting notified. Other coworkers with Android devices mentioned similar problems as well.

After receiving a helpful message from 7 shifts regarding my issues with constant crashing, I reinstalled the app and contacted customer support. Since then I have had very few issues with the exception of the occasional crash which happens to all my apps. Now I love this app!! I can request time off, offer up a shift, communicate to the group or an individual and best of all, an estimate of what your check will be for that week. Nicely done 7 shifts, you deserve this 5 star rating.

For the most part this app works well. I find that it logs me out excessively, forcing me to log back in, which is inconvenient. My big new complaint, however, came with a recent update. I received very unwanted notifications that 'my shift starts in an hour.' I assure you, I already know that. All this notification does is detract from the last remaining moments of my time to myself before I get ready for said shift. I tried to turn this notification off and there was no option. Please fix it.

App worked without issue up until the most recent update (Android). Now it doesn't work at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and the app still does not work. I wouldn't mind if it glitched or ran slower than before as long as it still worked. It's also a bit of a digital slap in the face receiving notifications regarding app activity for an app that I can't interact with.

The app was working well, but just recently, it seems to be glitchy. Sales and labor numbers are not always available or are not available until much later on in the day. It used to be very accurate, but there is an obvious lag now. I also am no longer receiving any emails regarding shift changes, announcements, and messages. This is much more recent, and I have already double checked my settings and spam folders.

I'm able to see my schedule when I open the app, but I'm no longer receiving notifications for messages, announcements, or schedule postings. My push notifications are on, and the setting to put the app to sleep is off. Coworkers have expressed the same issue. It would also be nice to be able to hide my phone number from coworkers so that only management can see it.

Give the Employees freedom. Our restaurant managers love to micro manage and don't let us view our schedules in app. We can't sign up without an invite whatsoever. So we have no say in it at all. We don't get to use 7shifts to it's fullest potential. They print schedules directly from the website. Yes, website. There should be a way to circumvent such limitations. Otherwise, what's the point for an app?

App is just ok. It's super glitchy. Randomly logs me out. Sometimes notifications of messages don't alert me (yes, notifications are set properly). I'm also not a fan of the lack of desktop notifications. It won't alert you if someone messages you. You have to go to messages to even notice the message. Would love the feature to pin 📌 an important comment in a thread instead of having to scroll all the way back to find important info. A pro is the scheduling. Pretty easy to do and to follow.

This app is very easy to use. But after the recent updates, and when I was not able to log in for almost 2 days, I have not been getting any notifications about anything. I have missed manager announcements, shift pickups, and just general dialogue from my coworkers. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times, and it will not fix itself. I have every permission available on my end open for the app. Can someone please tell me how to get my notifications back?

It's gotten worse. Not sure why, but the drop-down to change an assignment snaps back before you can select anything. The notes on availability are so large they block dropping a shift on someone and can't be clicked through. Making rearranging for time off requests a game of operation to find the one spot I can drop the shift. The header/footer are so big that I see more of them on a 15" laptop than I do of the schedule I'm trying to work on. Overall 7shifts is backsliding from 3 years ago.

We've had our 7Shifts subscription for about 6 months now, and use it for scheduling at our coffee shop. The idea? Love it! The website? Functional and easy to use. This app? Absolute junk as it is. It crashes. Some employees don't get chat notifications despite having notifications enabled. Sometimes, for seemingly no reason at all, when creating a shift, the app will save it in a different time zone. For instance, the shift is 9-1, the app will show it as 10-2. Needs work.
