can't reach anyone.. calling them it was over 2 hours waiting for my call to be answered. emailing you get no response either. I ordered an iPhone that was damaged by Amazon in transit and it has been the hardest trying to get my money back. I do not recommend buying a phone through them!!!
Reviews for AirTalk Wireless
← Back to AirTalk Wirelesshorrible phone, works extremely poorly, non stop technical issues, customer service is useless, there app is useless, phone glitches and open or closes things on its own, many task cannot be completed because it won't work on wifi or it says not connected to WiFi which is so assanine considering I'm connected at least 12 hrs a day!!!!!! HIGHLY do NOT RECOMMEND ( FIND ANOTHER FREE PHONE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS PROPERLY!!!!!!!!).
"Customer Unknown* after months of attempts while using the wireless service. It's full circle of frustration, to say the least. +no free device or unlimited data. I would've been OK with the 15G i signed up for. 5G is not adequate when it's the only source of Wi-Fi available to me. The new device, with bigger the 5.5 inches screen like 1st year I was with AirTalk would've been nice too. Good Cellular Service though. Thank God for That!
Airtalk has excellent service in my area. I switched companies. got the a67l for 5$ never could find a case for it. you know soon or later you bound to drop a phone w/o a case you screwed. the phone wasn't the best one I have had but I did try to keep from breaking it. warranty is well out of date. I am out of a phone unless I buy a replacement. Luckily I was able to put my sim in an older phone I had so I wouldn't be w/o any form of communication. offer a case for your phones please
I was supposed to get a Samsung Galaxy 7 and instead I got some knock off brand and the service is absolutely horrible it always drops calls even when I'm connected to good wifi. I can only talk on speaker phone, and my phone says it cannot complete the newest software update for whatever reason, so I contacted customer service... and opened a ticket... well that was nearly a week ago and haven't heard anything since. not so pleased at this point.
The service is beyond slow and there are always technical issues. I was sent a damaged phone to begin with and when I finally figured out how to get in contact with the company I want able to get a replacement. I was told the service is free but there is a $12 fee to start service. My phone still after 8 or 9 months doesn't send or receive picture messages and won't send long text. It's just aggravating and makes you wonder if its actually helpful or a hindrance how much time spent on them.
The app is totally worthless, no point in having it as the website is set up the exact same way as the app yet the website works much better. I appreciate the free phone and service, never have been able to send or receive picture messages though. Customer service is a total waste of time; they're far too inept to actually help with anything I've thrown at them. I still recommend AirTalk however because the selection of free phones they have is unmatched by any other service I've found.
The worst customer service i have ever encountered!! So the phone came in yes and in a very timely manner. But when I set it up it gives me a message saying the device is corrupt, and I cannot use the phone. Restarted it and everything it just goes straight to the screen and message telling me device is corrupt. I've tried emailing with 0 response, I've tried calling but therer is no good options to choose and it hangs up on me every time. I've tried doing the chat box no reply! Or kicks me out!
So far I'm not impressed with AirTalk Wireless. The phone they sent me (FOXX D A56) absolutely will not connect to WiFi so I have to use my data for everything. (And it's supposedly a brand new phone). This phone is not compatible with several of the apps I need. Also, no live customer service. Air Talk is only getting 1 star from me. I'm not even sure I'll be able to port my number to anyone else because I can't get my account number.👎
The absolute best wireless service I have had by far. At times the data slows, but the data add on plans are so budget friendly and provide the necessary data needed immediately. I will use Airtalk Wireless as long as I can and I have referred many friends to them as well. I have not had a single complaint about my service. When I questioned something technical, I submitted a ticket and they responded within a few hours. Love this Service!!!
This service is awful! Despite it being on the AT&T network, I am routinely having dropped calls, loud echoes , and errors when dialing certain landline numbers. My phone also will require me to restart it when it refuses to allow me to make any type of outgoing call. I will say that they do offer really nice phones to choose from but what good is having a nice phone if the service is unreliable and talking on it is nearly impossible!?!
No stars!! Every since I goty "free phone" for $35 - $45, it's horrible. Im constantly getting dropped calls, Internet is beyond ridiculously slow. That said, I have to try and refresh past every page several times. There is literally no way of speaking to anyone, they hang up on you after so long on hold.itsthe worstco.pany ever! QLink wireless is so much better. I'm going back to Qlink..
In the beginning, I believed Airtalk Wireless to be a fairly decent "government phone" company. I even reffered a few friends. But after about a year of service, I started having issue's with internet speed, constant data and service interruptions. I'd pay for "top up" data and it not get credited to my account. Then when I tried to contact customer service, it was next to impossible to speak with or "chat" with a live agent.
It is absolutely impossible to reach any kind of customer service with this company! I was on hold with customer service on the phone for two hours and got nobody! Was told that a live agent in chat would be 6718 minutes because there was 67 people ahead of my! Ugh! I'm going to cancel my order and go elsewhere if this is what it's going to be like... All because the phone on the order I submitted, was cancelled so they could send me their generic phone. What a bait and switch operation!!!!!
I just started using this service. However, The app keeps downloading games/miscellaneous apps on my phone. Furthermore, customer care is very ... nonexistent. I have been waiting for 2hours for a text chat through the app. I waited for 30 minutes on the phone. Finally? What's up with the inability to stop certain notification of wifi calling setup. I don't want wifi calling. Yet, the carrier has made it completely difficult for me to stop that notification from popping up.
This is the worse phone company and service I've EVER experienced. I've tried to contact Airtalk numerous times via phone or chat. Both instances kept me waiting for hours. The phone system forces you to hang up after an hour of waiting which means you have to wait another hour on hold. I ordered a replacement phone, and twice they've sent me junk phones that don't work. The first one you couldn't hear or talk on the phone, and this new one that I waited 3 weeks for, won't turn on at all. Scam.
So far so good. I've only been a customer for about 3 weeks but so far the free phone they sent me (FOXXD A67L) hasn't had any issues, knock on wood, and the only issue I've had with service is the data is slower than other providers I've had but it's free and it works so I can't complain. Calls and texts have been fine. The phone came activated so I didn't have to do anything except turn it on. I'll update the rating and my review if I encounter issues in the future.
I don't see how AirTalk can keep saying that they'll give you a free iphone, when at the end of the application, you have to pay. If you don't, you can't even submit it. I bought an unlocked phone so I could use the SIM card they sent. It's better, but there's still no hotspot to share, and after using 2 out of15Gb, internet slows to a crawl. I did manage to connect my Chromebook, but its slow or choppy AF, so basically useless. I'm so sick of "free" help turning out to be no help at all.
Easy to sign up, approved pretty quick. received the phone in a few days. set up the phone, and it is very hard to keep the service going on the phone. government will only allow so much data a month. between the phone trying to find service and it loading and recovering photos and things, the data ran out and they shut down the data, so u can only make calls, and texts. Now I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone to talk to them. Thanks
What's the point of offering unlimited data if it's so slow, you can't even get anything done? They sent an email out a few months ago mentioning the improved data speeds. But where? I'm definitely not bragging but I live in a major metropolitan area and it's just as slow as before. And why's it so hard to change my service address in the app? I tried it, but the page is glitched or something and won't process after I hit submit. I know it's free but come on!
