it's really cool that this thing can guess just about anything that you're thinking, but I hate that I don't get a reward if it doesn't get it on the first try when I pick a really obscure character. I went through 60 questions so it could get Harry Heck from punisher and it didn't give me a plat because it didn't get it first try

What is the point of having a child mode if you censor adult content regardless? other than that, it is a decent app.

Kinda fun but it's pretty obnoxious how you it has to get the character 1st time or you don't get points as it will just guess if it gets to 30 questions. Really annoying when your trying to do a more obscure character, which is really the point of the game.

getting caught for cheating when I wasn't cheating has to be the dumbest thing this game does. Now it won't give me any points for my characters. Why bother paying for this game? I remeber why I keep deleting this game.

Fairly good. Worth the 4 dollars if you've got a lot of free time. It's fun to see him guess the characters, and even more fun when it's a character he doesn't know. However, it can get a little repetitive if you run out of good characters, or can only think of obvious ones.

I have to update my review to reflect a new annoyance that has been added. It keeps setting "traps" to validate the legitimacy of my game. I have never fallen for one of them, but they are still annoying. I have been using Akinator since it was released on the web, and now I feel like the game is treating me as if I'm dishonest with my play, which I never have been.

I would love it more if you gave me my credit for stumping the bot. Many time I have thought of a great answer and he guessed wrong the first time, so I never get the points even if he gets it later. I can't control what he asks or what conclusion he makes. Just now I could of got a BLACK medal, but he didn't get it on his first try and that's MY fault!? If you can fix this problem I would totally give you 5 stars.

Literally not fun anymore!!!!! I paid $5 to skip ads but it's worthless. Always asks the same questions. I've missed out on 3-4 black belts because it's questions are repetitive and won't ever guess the asking the same questions. Ugh! Also has accused me of "cheating" and took away points. This is ridiculous!!!! You can't really read my mind and accusations is really uncalled for.

Great game but it's kind of annoying when it guessee the wrong person and doesn't give you points when they eventually do guess the person because they didn't get it right the first time. Also the questions are really repetitive and non-specific at all to who I was trying to guess. For example I was thinking of John Corabi from Mötley Crüe and it wouldn't give me points because it wasn't the first person they thought of. That's not really fair.

Got penalized for no reason. It will randomly do validity checks to see if you are lying. I had just done a character in a game that it got right. Then I tried to do another character from the same game and got penalized for saying that was who I was thinking of. THAT WAS LITERALLY THE CHARACTER I WAS THINKING ABOUT. Love getting the validity check wrong when it was literally right.

This app is crazy, it literally guessed correctly when my little sister was thinking of a Gatorade cap. She didn't even say it out loud. It asks really broad, open ended questions and then all the sudden the questions get really specific and pretty much always tend to have something to do with what you were thinking. I don't say what I'm thinking out loud and it still guesses it. It really crazy and kind of creepy. I don't even want to know how it does it. This is one cool but weird app.

If he gets it wrong, and we have to input the character's name, we should be able to add questions that time as well. Not just when he gets it right. I mean, it would make perfectly logical sense to be able to help him learn more about someone he doesn't know. Much more so than helping him learn more about someone who he already knows everything about. Logic. It's a beautiful thing.

It seems like if you get a black award, afterwards he intentionally guesses wrong. A while back, I got a black award and then tried a character I had done before that should have been easy, but ends up being VERY different from the answers given. It happened again today, as I got a black award and tried another character from the same game, and he asked questions that led me to believe he was getting it, then guesses a character completely unrelated to the last questions.

I've loved playing this game on and off, and earlier when I was presented with infl about how they now catch people guessing randomly for points, I thought it was awesome. But there's been instances where I would say no to the trap answer, and I would be applauded by the game for not falling for it, then right after, confirm its correct guess and then told it failed the validity check? I'll happily alter my rating if the feature is fixed.

It's a good game, just needs polishing. I have a couple of problems with it. One is the questions, like when I'm asked if my character is blonde, I'll answer yes but then the next few 6/10 questions are asking me about different hair colours. The second being the Game Report, I don't know how answers to questions work, probably by users, but some answers are wrong. The Genie is going to have issues getting characters. Would be nice to see all my answers instead of just Black, Platinum and Gold.

Rated this app 5 stars over 5 years ago when it was still good. Just lost points because you detected I was "cheating" by pressing random answers, but if your detection software looked at my previous games it would see me putting in the same answers. Why am I getting penalized because your bot couldn't beat me. Also can't sign into my old account because it was a Google Play account and there's no way to log that account in. Just made a new one and signed out but can't sign back in anymore.

Very fun, but can be impossible to get things in 30 questions if he doesnt ask the right questions or multiple characters are too similar. BTW Pl0x add the medals and leaderboard stuff to the Web version!! I also think the top medal being only 6 months isn't enough, there should be more medals! There's also no way to see how old stuff was when you played it, or what series things are from.

Bought it years ago. Used to be better at guessing characters. Nowadays, it's terrible as it is just giving you rewards for thinking about the character it tells you to. Questioning is very narrow instead of broad at first and then narrowing down. Do not waste a penny.

After reinstalling, am unable to log in with (or retrieve password for) my account. This is one game that really needs to use Play login instead of e-mail, as the game even has achievements for things you did 6 months ago. I suspect the issue is that they changed passwords to meet specific requirements in the year or so I haven't used it, and with a new phone. Attempting to retrieve password bugs out with an error. Not great...
