it's really cool that this thing can guess just about anything that you're thinking, but I hate that I don't get a reward if it doesn't get it on the first try when I pick a really obscure character. I went through 60 questions so it could get Harry Heck from punisher and it didn't give me a plat because it didn't get it first try
What is the point of having a child mode if you censor adult content regardless? other than that, it is a decent app.
Kinda fun but it's pretty obnoxious how you it has to get the character 1st time or you don't get points as it will just guess if it gets to 30 questions. Really annoying when your trying to do a more obscure character, which is really the point of the game.
getting caught for cheating when I wasn't cheating has to be the dumbest thing this game does. Now it won't give me any points for my characters. Why bother paying for this game? I remeber why I keep deleting this game.
Fairly good. Worth the 4 dollars if you've got a lot of free time. It's fun to see him guess the characters, and even more fun when it's a character he doesn't know. However, it can get a little repetitive if you run out of good characters, or can only think of obvious ones.
I have to update my review to reflect a new annoyance that has been added. It keeps setting "traps" to validate the legitimacy of my game. I have never fallen for one of them, but they are still annoying. I have been using Akinator since it was released on the web, and now I feel like the game is treating me as if I'm dishonest with my play, which I never have been.
I would love it more if you gave me my credit for stumping the bot. Many time I have thought of a great answer and he guessed wrong the first time, so I never get the points even if he gets it later. I can't control what he asks or what conclusion he makes. Just now I could of got a BLACK medal, but he didn't get it on his first try and that's MY fault!? If you can fix this problem I would totally give you 5 stars.
Literally not fun anymore!!!!! I paid $5 to skip ads but it's worthless. Always asks the same questions. I've missed out on 3-4 black belts because it's questions are repetitive and won't ever guess the asking the same questions. Ugh! Also has accused me of "cheating" and took away points. This is ridiculous!!!! You can't really read my mind and accusations is really uncalled for.
Great game but it's kind of annoying when it guessee the wrong person and doesn't give you points when they eventually do guess the person because they didn't get it right the first time. Also the questions are really repetitive and non-specific at all to who I was trying to guess. For example I was thinking of John Corabi from Mötley Crüe and it wouldn't give me points because it wasn't the first person they thought of. That's not really fair.
Got penalized for no reason. It will randomly do validity checks to see if you are lying. I had just done a character in a game that it got right. Then I tried to do another character from the same game and got penalized for saying that was who I was thinking of. THAT WAS LITERALLY THE CHARACTER I WAS THINKING ABOUT. Love getting the validity check wrong when it was literally right.
