the amen break pattern is precise and captures the essence of the iconic breakbeat, making it ideal for enthusiasts and producers. I would recommended giving it a try if you don't have a pc for making amen break beats. ❤️
Reviews for Amen Break Generator
← Back to Amen Break GeneratorSo much fun. Super responsive on the slices. Love how there's different breaks on there as well not just the Amen. £3.99 well spent 🤌🏼
At first, I was gonna get a apk of this but decided to just buy it. It's definitely way better than I was expecting it to be, and it's super fun to play around with. 100% worth the money.
Where do I start first.. there are only 8 loops patens to use .and Three of the Patton's loops you have to use.. you can't do much with.. and you can just about hear the vocals in pattern 2 .and then there's the effects buttons what a load of codswallop. They are
It's ok, there's no bass lines or even sound effects to add in. It could be great but in my opinion it's not worth paying for.
Very fun! I spend a lot of time here but I am can't figure out how to add my own music to it despite there being instructions. I don't know if it's a config issue or something, but nonetheless dev, great work!
This is fun to plink around on. All the samples clip and there's an audible pop when each slice starts. And there are only 8 loops you're paying 4 bucks for.
Heard about this online for a long time heard they where bringing it back online, getting into music production it's a lot of fun and teaches you quite a bit about amen breaks and how they can be chopped, a lot of fun
Its fun tonplay with. I wish there were more music creation related apps. I totally recommend it to any Android owner who likes making electronic music or loves drum n bass.
I rarely find mobile games that i like to mess around with. And this is the app i always play when i get bored. No lag and built perfect! Money spent well.
Fun app. I've seen videos of people playing the loops without having to click play first but I guess it's not possible yet on android. Hopefully it's added soon!
On my s21 ultra it's a great experience. Nice and easy to play with. BUT On my music tablet s6lite not so. Because it's not available?!? Please fix this. Please check the box for the compatibility. Than I can give you your earned 5 stars. Thanks in advance and greetings.
Excellent little drum sketcher; could easily use this in productions too. Although I can't seem to figure out how to add custom loops, the instructions are a bit unclear about which part is supposed to pop up with instructions; I've pressed and held everything with no luck.
This app is great. I wish it let me add my sounds into it to use the in app effects on my own samples. That's a feature it's missing. Still an awesome app for what it does freely
Good, but theres a bug. At tempos of exactly 170 or above, if you tap the last orb (or whatever you call them to play the last 16th of the break) it always switches back to the first before you can tap another one. This can be recreated best by turning the tempo to exactly 170, turning on the play button and tapping the last orb as fast as possible. It always loops back to the first one. It works on a BPM of 169, or at 170 with pressing different orbs. I'll switch my review to 5/5 if it's fixed.
This is one funky little drummer! Great app! I'm a DnB producer and having lots of fun with it, and even considering using it as a tool in the studio. What would be EVEN better (dev please consider adding) is if you had the option/toggle to do real-time 'slip' edits whilst the loops are playing. For example, when you interrupt the loop by pressing the various slices at the top of the screen, instead of the loop continuing from whichever slice/key you press, it' maintinaing its relative position.
Very fun to mess around with and very responsive. Being able to tap the diodes to audition the slices without having the loop playing would be a nice touch and having some sort of parameter adjustment for the fx would be superb. But that's asking a lot of this app as it's great in it's current state. Simple enough for non musicians to have a good time with and in depth enough to incorporate into a full beat with the exports.
It's a great app and a fun little tool. I have one request. Could you include a menu to arrange in what order the drum packs come in? I feel like it would be fun to play arround with different drum sets together by switching mid loop. I've already found two that work pretty well with each other and I transition using the freeze effect and then letting off once I change my drum pack.
Great pick-up-and-play experience, but only has 8 audio loops to play with. Not much depth, but that's what exporting your "performances" to a DAW is for. The info dropdown is hard to reach on my phone (bottom of screen), I don't think it's showing fully, and I can't scroll down on it. Leaves me wondering if the "BASE" [sic], "SNARE", white dot, or double circle symbol are supposed to do anything. Still worth it as a fun toy to scratch that D&B/Jungle/etc. itch on the go.
As a lover of the Amen Break, this is such an awesome game. One thing I love about this game is how you can import your own .wav breaks and mess around with them in only a few taps! It would be nice if the buttons at the top that you can press to play specific parts of the break would be bigger, though. Sometimes I accidentally press the wrong button because of how tiny they are. Thanks for making this game, however! 😁
