So here's my honest take on AMI Play. I've tested a bunch of apps like this and this one's actually pretty solid. The trivia games are genuinely fun and a great way to get the group involved. And being able to pick the music and control the arcade machines is a cool party trick too. The downsides are that the song library is a bit limited and the free version has some annoying ads. But for a few bucks it's a nice way to liven up a night out.

I’ve been playing AMI Play for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control the music, play trivia, and use arcade games at bars and venues. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – you can search for AMI venues near you and just open the app when you’re there. And there’s a free trivia game which is actually kinda fun, and you can pay a few bucks to pick songs or activate arcade machines. It’s got a nice simple interface that’s easy to figure out.

Look, if you’re the kind of person who likes to be in charge of the music or just have some extra fun at bars, you’ll probably dig this app. It’s not perfect – the song selection can be a bit limited and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job and is worth checking out.

I downloaded the app so I could play music while we bowled. None of my songs were played during the hour we were there. Yes, I understand people can pay...

this app is a mess. I had spent so much and only hearing short versions of songs, and many time's my songs never played (not because someone skipped over me)...

Yeah, it works technically. The music gets played eventually. One big issue is that the use of priority is RARELY accepted. I've sat waiting in a bar for 20 minutes...
