So here's my take on AndroPods - Airpods on Android. I've tested a bunch of headphone companion apps and this one is pretty solid. The battery indicator and ear detection features work really well and make using AirPods on Android much more seamless. The voice assistant integration is a nice bonus too. My only real gripe is the initial setup can be a little tricky if you're not tech-savvy. But once it's up and running, it's a game-changer for AirPod users on Android. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

Description

I’ve been using AndroPods – Airpods on Android for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you use your AirPods (or AirPods Pro, Powerbeats Pro, etc) with your Android phone. Pretty solid app if you’re into wireless headphones.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a battery indicator that pops up when you put the AirPods in, shows the charge level. It’s got ear detection too, so it’ll pause your music when you take the AirPods out. And you can even use the double-tap gesture to bring up your voice assistant, which is pretty convenient.

Look, if you’re an Android user with AirPods, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a bit finicky at first – but overall it does the job of bringing those AirPod features to your Android device. Worth checking out if you want more functionality from your wireless headphones.
