I’ve been using AndroPods – Airpods on Android for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you use your AirPods (or AirPods Pro, Powerbeats Pro, etc) with your Android phone. Pretty solid app if you’re into wireless headphones.
Here’s what you can do: there’s a battery indicator that pops up when you put the AirPods in, shows the charge level. It’s got ear detection too, so it’ll pause your music when you take the AirPods out. And you can even use the double-tap gesture to bring up your voice assistant, which is pretty convenient.
Look, if you’re an Android user with AirPods, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a bit finicky at first – but overall it does the job of bringing those AirPod features to your Android device.
