unable to use multieq filter frequency range after latest update why r u not correcting it u people are waste fellows waste fellows will not correct don't buy this app it's a scrap app don't buy this app this is not worth 1rs sorry iam insulting 1rs this app has spoiled my avr don't purchase this app can anyone help me why iam unable to edit frequency these app developers are scrap people

Inexplicably horrible result. Originally did a standalone test which wasn't bad. Reference was too mid based for music, flat was ok, but my custom eq was way clearer however dynamics of sub and low frequencies were quiet. After purchasing the app and commencing new tests, the results were ridiculously off the chart. Mids were even higher and bass was muddy as hell. I have Marantz cinema 60 and Dynaudio Evoke 50s. The corrections and frequency curve adjustments did not work. Waste of $30

Running the Audyssey settings for my home theatre has made my speakers come alive. it's a whole new system afterwards. the only bad thing is if you press the home button, going back into the app makes the app stop working. so you gotta restart it. otherwise it works like a charm.

So far it worked fine for me, one glitch/crash at the beginning, but other than that worked fine (using a Poco F4). I haven't bothered with tinkering the curve, not sure I will. It does look like it might be fiddly on the app, and I saw a video with someone showing that setting new curve values was hard work. But it's been worth it so far just to be able to disable midrange compensation for all speakers.

Terrible app that doesn't do what you buy it for. Looks like the devs can't be bothered to even try it - the "connection" issues have been reported a long time ago and were never fixed. You buy it to calibrate your speakers. It "fails to connect", ruining your lengthy calibration session. IF you're patient enough to retry 10 times and somehow manage to get a session to complete, it will fail to upload it to the receiver, and fail to recover from the error, you must kill the app. DO NOT BUY!

So many connection issues. Receiver shows on my network, can stream music and yet this app won't 'see' or connect directly with the IP address. So frustrating using this app!! When it worked it was great but it is so unreliable! The latest update for 1.6.5 won't even work for my Marantz now. Gets stuck on connecting mic or subwoofer level test. Factory reset receiver, reset router, still nothing. A completely useless app now!! What a waste of $20. Should have never updated!

Terrible product. First I couldn't get the app to find my receiver a Denon X1400H. After turning my phone off and resetting it found the receiver. Then it wanted to recalibrate my 5.1 system which I just did in the set up process. I said cancel because I didn't have time. when I did this the receiver went to a moble app mode and my TV says it can't play my title. after Un plugging the Denon re booting my phone I couldn't get anything to work. waste of time and money. I have reset everything.

I was hoping for a lot more from this app. It measures my during speakers terribly as if they roll off starting at 120hz, when they clearly don't. Changing the crossover frequency from the speaker detection does not change the target curves. The target curves are also a joke since the subwoofer rolls off before 20hz with no option for a flat response. At least I can limit the frequency range of the changes to below 250Hz. I'll have to run REW sweeps, but I'm not as impressed as I was expecting from the app.

I wish it worked, but had the same issue as many others. Using a Denon x3500H. Installed, tried to test, stuck on "Checking Subwoofer 2 volume" then nothing happens. Tried hard setting IP's, both wired and wireless connections, running app from Tablet and S21. Always the same issue. Hopefully they get this fixed, I'm hopeful to use this app in the future.

This app worked for me without any problems or hiccups. It allows you to edit some of the parameters that Audyssey uses and then transfer the edited version to your receiver. I'm using a Denon AVR-x3500, which is listed as one of the supported devices in the app information page. It is a little tacky that, after buying a Denon receiver, one is expected to cough up $20 for an app that should have been included in the purchase price. That said, if you're finicky about your sound, it's well worth the price.

Could not find my Marantz receiver until i rebooted my my router/modem. If you have trouble moving the frequency slider on a note 10 or other Samsung phones go to settings/display/full screen apps click on three little dot's on the top right corner and switch to hide camera cutout. after all that it worked great for me. the app gives you much more control and makes it easy to compare different settings.

It's very annoying to have to pay for the app to access settings on Denon receivers. And while it's mostly straightforward to use, you still basically need to read online to understand some settings. It's also just a poor use case for a whole standalone app, when the entire point is to load settings on a receiver that has it's own UI that can do 70% of the app functions: the multi-eq frequency cutoff should be accessible without all this.

I don't know what this upgrade but I have nothing but problems since I received it. It is impossible to get it to recognize my receiver. And when it finally does it drops the connection mid stream so I am not able to set up my receiver. I have disconnected and reconnected everything, turned my phone off and on, downloaded latest samsung phone firmware. Customer support is not readily available. Don't waste your money.

I think it works quite good. I always do a complete reset before I run a new calibration. The slow part is transferring the massive file to the receiver/processor but once received it apply room correction quite fast. You can copy each file you have loaded to the receiver/processor from the EQ Editor then copy those settings to a USB stick. You simply use the USB copied sticks instead of loading from the Editor. Saves lots of time. I like using a tablet instead of phone. Well worth $20.00.

Needless to say that I'm more than a little irritated that I had to spend an extra $20 on an app to access all the audio customization features on my $1600 Denon receiver. Dinging 2 stars for that fact alone. Also dinging a star for the setup taking multiple attempts to succeed. I did not experience near the bugginess others have reported on my OnePlus 8t but I ran the setup 3 times with 3 different experiences and 1 successful calibration. This non-streamlined app should be free. Period!

Nothing works with this app. First, it had me start over 20 minutes into set up because "outside noise" wa detected even though my place is very quiet. Then it randomly couldn't detect the subwoofer even though it played sound through it, and on and on always something new why it would have me start over. I'm giving up, waist of $20. Good luck getting this to work. Using a new compatible receiver and new speakers.

Horrible implementation of an app. I've tried to do measurements 3 times. First I took all 8 locations, and waited between each for the data to be collected, only to have it crash on the last one. Then the next try, I only did three, then it crashed. Then I tried again and it crashed. Would be great if it worked, but this would be bad for a free app, much less a $20 app.

When it works it's great, but constant disconnects result in the calibration process taking much longer than it should as everything has to start over. It sometimes takes 5-6 tries just to get started, and I've stopped measuring over 3 positions since the risk of disconnect is high. However, once you do get things measured, the calibration options are great and more than can be achieved with the receiver alone. Being able to turn off midrange compensation, set a house curve, and set a range for audyssey to address is ultimately worthwhile. It just takes a lot of patience.

Worst app on my phone. It has an extremely hard time finding the receiver. I had to manually enter the address. Once it found the receiver it lost it in the middle of the test more than once. You have to start all over if it loses connection. My final attempt felt like diffusing a bomb. Any second I might have to start this 15 minute procedure over. I moved the microphone very fast. This doesn't have an EQ. I can't believe this expensive receiver doesn't have a multiband EQ.

The app is definitely improved recently. It is no longer a 1-star app - improved stability makes it usable. I cannot give it higher than 3, though, as it is still very difficult to use the curve editor on a mobile device. I only have luck using BlueStacks on my pc with a mouse. It lacks some of the finer control that competing solutions provide.
