First off, the only reason this is a two-star review is because of how good the pretzels are. I saw an email about free delivery of special buckets during march madness. I plug in my address and click the closest store to me (4.6 miles away) making sure the store accepts deliveries. Click next, and get alerted "Our partners are unable to deliver to your desired location. Please switch your order to pick-up to proceed.." So I tried another location (5.5 miles) and got the same message. Lovely.
Reviews for Auntie Anne’s Rewards
← Back to Auntie Anne’s RewardsWas great for a few orders. No longer works when trying to search for location for delivery. Doesn't react at all but will when I click anything else. Auntie Anne's works in the doordash app still so it's not a store issue but an issue with your app. Please fix. I like the deals in this app but never got to use them because now it won't deliver. I don't have a vehicle.
I havent used this app for a number of months and today i finally decided to see if i had some remaining rewards. Last update from their post was from April 25 and every time you click on something else (rewards, for example) the app crashes. I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall it and nothing has changed.
Can't use the app, ofc on free pretzel day. Wouldn't let me order in app, didn't go pass the view locations screen. I try to redeem the coupon to use at a physical location and it just keeps loading over and over but won't give me a qr code to scan. Which is ridiculous considering the folks in line ahead of me used their app just fine 🙄 6/4 edit: useless to have, can't use it at all. Won't let me order and crashes within seconds. Liked the convenience and points but can't do anything now.
Put an order in to redeem a reward and then got "The ordering system was not able to transmit an order (#) scheduled for today. There was an issue communicating the order to the in-store system." Well I didn't see it until I got there since I don't check phone while driving, and I was like okay no biggie I'll just order it in person since I'm here anyways. But it won't let you redeem another reward until 4 hours have passed. Sigh.
As with the Cinnabon app, they have now removed support for rooted devices. Removing a star for that. People will simply hack the app or use an earlier version. Old review: The app forces you to update at inconvenient times. You're standing in front of a register trying to redeem a reward, and the app doesn't even open. This is bad for numerous reasons, the least of which is people don't want to be forced to update apps when using data.
Absolute dogshit. I know this may seem obvious but auntie Anne's is not remotely equipped to handle delivery. It's scummy that they even offer it as an option. The actual app is a comedy of errors, including canceling out your entire order and address if you make even one mistep on the menu. Even if you make it through the sisiphian gantlet and get your order placed, it will only bear the most tangential relationship to the food they send you. Don't worry, there's nowhere to complain in the app:)
What you get on emails for a free pretzel, or BOGO, or a free dip, well, I can't find them in my app even when it's within the limited time period. It just doesn't show in the app at all! We should be able to download and print it on hardcopy in case app doesn't work or if store has terrible wifi reception. Please bring back the old version of paper printout! APP is useless if it doesn't show any promos when I get them in emails but it says to open in app to get it!
Super buggy. Used it once successfully (not easily) and it took half an hour longer than predicted for my order to be ready. Not a big deal, but now it's just not usable at all. Crashed when I tried to apply a reward, then wouldn't even let me start a new order when I closed out to try again. Now just showing a long page of html when I try to see my rewards to redeem in-store. Even when working, the rewards features don't seem well designed, but even then I'd give 4 stars if it actually worked.
Shittiest Convoluted Food App. Impossible to figure out how to edit any order, menu is an absolute mess where it's all on one page, and worst of all, impossible to use any coupon. Tried to use BOGO coupon from T-Mobile reward, and at first, it wouldnt even show up in my rewards, until restarting multiple times. Couldn't use it in checkout like youre supposed to, tried "redeem" in the menu. Started counting down from 1 minute to use in person despite being app only! Now lost my UNUSED coupon!!!
1. Phone back button will take you back further than you would like and cancel all the information you have already inputted, such as your address 2. Some items like the bucket of nuggets show as costing $0 - when added to cart and trying to checkout it just gives a vague error. The item shouldn't be listed. 3. I was unable to apply a reward for a free pretzel - it just gave a generic error. I accidentally submitted the order, which they were not able to refund me the cost of the pretzel.
Very unintuitive app, doesn't make for a good experience. Additionally, their rewards system is horrible. You can only use one coupon per purchase, which forces the user to send through 5 different purchases if they want to use their coupons, which just creates a bad time for the poor people working in the store. Additionally, redeeming any coupon leaves you with a measly 20 minutes to use it, when it could easily be something like an hour to provide ample time for use without issue.
Sure hoping that one of the "minor enhancements and improvements" is the ability to add points via receipts! This doesn't work for me on the site or app, only gives errors. I contacted CS via website and email and was asked for a better/fuller photo of my receipt, which was still recent and valid. Never got another response and my points weren't added. Very disappointing!
For my most recent visit I used the app to pre-order my food. I put ASAP, placed the order at 12:24, did not receive any part of it, including my drink until 20 minutes later. Meanwhile two other customers came to the counter and received items from the case and beverages. I appreciate the freshness of the food, what I don't appreciate is being told in an email that it would be ready at one time, and waiting an additional 10 minutes to get the items. Not to mention the lack of courtesy!!
This is horrible. I'm not sure if it's just the app, the store, or just how the company is run but I have never been more stressed out simply trying to redeem a reward. Not a frequent customer but I saw we had a reward so we decided to get a treat. Because the store is a combo with Jamba Juice, they can't scan the reward. So you have to use it through a mobile order. Except, you've already redeemed it for in person. Oh, and it has a 9 minute timer on it. So no chance of going to another store.
The app doesn't work anymore. I can open the app fine but if I try to see my rewards or click on anything else, the screen goes back to the picture of the stack of pretzels with lemonade and the Auntie Anne's logo. It will stay on that screen and not change causing me to force close it. Over and over and over. We just want to order pretzels. We HAVE to use the app as the "scanner doesn't work" at the store closest to us.
It's pretty ****ing stupid that we, the consumers, are paying for the location's fee for the app. Don't care that it's only a few cents per order. I don't see any other app charing customers to lift that burden off a franchise. Most corporate fast food places don't allow franchises to charge like that. So yeah, I closed the app and didn't bother placing an order.
This app charges extra to place an online order. I don't know of any other app that does that! I also shared my code and got other people to sign up for this app earning me BOGO rewards; however, when I went to use them on the last day before they expired, I got the message that I had to wait 4 HOURS to redeem the other reward! No one else makes you wait 4 hrs! The store was going to close by the time those 4 hours were up so I lost the reward and the company lost the money I was going to spend.
This app is quite frustrating, especially when you can't log in even if you have the right password. I know this password by heart for how many times I reset it and it still says that I have the wrong password. it has a really slow loading time and overall it's quite frustrating to use. it kicks you out every time and when I try to reset the password it doesn't register that it's been reset. I love auntie Anne's but their app is just not great.
used to be 5 stars. however the unnecessary updates ruined it. can't navigate to my profile easily anymore and never saves my info. really trying to push for in app orders. as a result I end up not using it and therefore buying less from here in general. I guess it's a good thing as I was eating here too much and gaining weight so I guess it's for the best.
