Great for learning notes and where they are.

← Back to Bass Guitar Note TrainerAn excellent learning tool and fun to boot!
Super great app!! Helped me learn the notes of the Bass guitar!!
great app all you need to learn notes on fretboard! I like it.
Only got as far as third lesson but finding it v helpful and easy to use.
I love this app. It's so helpful to drill bass guitar ear training. Thank you devs
The app is easy to use and is a great way to reinforce fretboard fundamentals!
Hello Very good App I have a question How can I change the musical notes of the fretboard and use degrees of the scale (roman numerals or intervals numbers)?
Exactly what I needed. With ten minutes practice a day I finally learned the notes in no time.
Very nice! So many options to configure exactly what you want to work on. I love that you can save different sets of options as well.
This app is exactly what I needed. I appreciate the option to turn the skeumorphism off. The clean interactive fretboard grid is great especially with dark mode. Maybe include one screenshot like that in the store page? Thanks.
Excellent app. Includes 4 string and 5 string bass. Well worth the one time fee. A much much better deal than Fretonomy that charges $2.99 a month for something similar.
This is an excellent trainer in total. I wish you could make the exercises either more specific or adjust the difficulty. I.e. first 5 frets etc.
simple and effective. I mainly use the quiz portion like a set of very effective and useful flashcards. if you're working on learning the fretboard, it's a godsend.
very good and helpful app..
The sheet music training is effective. Finding the multiple notes on the fretboard is effective. I would like ear training where I hear a note, no clues, then identify it on the app fretboard or on my bass.
The Note Practicum is exactly what I was looking for (App asks for a note and I have to play it back on my actual bass). I would give 5 stars if besides the Default mode the Practicum would also offer a mode where only notes like in sheet music are shown (instead of a mix of tests). To the developers: Thanks for the reply! (5 stars now)
This app is fairly useful, but has some deal breakers. The menu navigation is weirdly separated into unintuitive sections with navigation buttons that aren't obvious until you try pressing everything on screen. I couldn't find a user manual, which I felt was needed because the functionality of the app is a complete mystery until you play with it for a good 10-15 minutes. Overall I can see someone getting value out of this but, and I hate to say this, Fretonomy is much better and free.
This is really useful software, it's so much better than I expected it to be. Multiple ways to learn the fretboard notes, it's very configurable, I can simply learn the note names, or learn to match the frets to musical notes on the stave, or do that later. This app is everything I hoped it would be, well worth the small price. Thankyou developer, I've been procrastinating learning the fretboard notes for a long time
Awesome app for practicing note locations, sight reading, ear training... list goes on and on. Well worth the price. Didn't realize all the options available at first (i.e. when clicking the title on the module). Just found out about that recently. It would make sense to lump these under settings instead. No other real gripes. Really like the ability to practice with an actual guitar in practicum!
