Not only is the subscription fee ridiculous and I would hardly consider affordable but now I can't even log into my account! I have tried resetting my password and it won't let me. it keeps claiming I have used the password before even though I know for a 150% fact I have never used that password before so now I am basically permanently locked out of my account because the password reset system is very flawed!

According to the app the only way to cancel your subscription is to go to Google Play Store app, search for BennVerified, click on the result, and then click on cancel. There is NOT a cancel button to be found! No other way, i.e. a customer service phone number, is offered. So the only way to cancel is to contact your bank and block access. In short...do NOT subscribe to this app!

Tried to cancel the subscription through their website but I couldn't so I had to read Q&A to find out you have to call, email, or leave a request through their request form. I called and got offered a "locked in price" of $9.95 per month if I choose not to cancel today.

Used to be good app. You could actually use part of it for free. Now think about this BV. Some of the people may only need to use this 2 or three times a year like me. Make a free version that worked like the old version not telling totally everything but with commercials for users that only need to use it a few times a year. No way on earth I'm buying it. Won't pay for itself with my limited use. Make commercials pay for free use. Right now I just Uninstalled it because it's 100% useless.

Used to be a subscriber for $15 a month for several months. I cancelled it and then resubscribed at $22! I am stuck in a loop on top of that. It won't show me anything and when I click to search it still states I need a subscription. So I click on subscribe and it says error, you are already a member. Restarted the app, same thing. No updates for it either. Very disappointed. Requesting a refund.

I discovered within a few searches how horrible this app and his background check is. I've been trying to cancel and unsubscribe for the better part of 10 minutes and I cannot figure out how to unsubscribe and not get charged. Only option that I'm finding is that I have to call somebody on the phone to cancel which is absolutely absurd and ridiculous.

I paid for a month subscription on 31st then the beginning of the next month they tried not once more like every day for 4 days in a row when I had already paid. Plus they are a good choice to look up info but not the best I found one that can find you twice as much info but they are way more expensive. They emailed me twice and never admitted they did any wrong even though I sent them screenshots of the charges.

Got this app. Paid the month fee and was disappointed! I have several calls a day on my home phone and Been Verified could not give me any other information then the town the call originated in!! No owners, no addresses no information to try and stop these calls!! very dissappointed. every time I try to look up a number on Google all their adds pop up! will not reccomend it.

Tells me I need to upgrade after already paying! I renewed my account and it says I have not. Won't allow me to access anything. Its already taken the money out of my account but won't allow me to access anything! Went ahead and canceled the subscription. Says its good until October 7th. What good is it when I can't access it because the app claims i didn't renew when I did!

In early April of this year I used the free trial to try to find someone involved in a hit-and-run. 5 months later I see they've been charging me full price despite the fact that I deliberately requested to have my account canceled after trial. A customer service rep said all they could do was refund 2 of those 5 months?? This is not right to the customer. Companies who use this secretly-default-to-subscription method are a scam, even if they produce good product unfortunately.

A lot of the results data is verifiably accurate once sorted out. The problem is that BV is constantly hyper_marketing. The screens (more so using a browser) are so full of "do this, do that, now, quick!" Instead, a concise presentation would be better and much less annoying! ALSO... I feel stiffed every month because I never use all 100 searches and the remaining are removed. Oh, and the price has conveniently gone way up too!!

SUCKS The APP still sucks. Now everytime I look up myself or anyone for that matter it wants me to upgrade and pay money. I don't want to see anything more than the basic stuff. Got logged out of my account, so changed passwords and now can't log into the app to look up anything. Keeps telling me that I will be logged out because I changed my password on the website and need to log in again. After the 20th time of the same thing I am about ready to uninstall this app. Fix the problem!!!!!!!!!!

As an "app only" user, you're entitled to so many (one) reports per month. This darn app is trying to make me upgrade to a paid account to search. I only get on this thing once maybe twice a year if I use the app at all and to be harassed into subscribing to a "service" that isn't all that great to begin with is quite aggravating. BeenVerified is getting worse by the year in terms of app utilization and I'd much rather delete the app than to pay for some subpar report that 8/10 won't be correct.

Been a member since March 2014. Bought "credits" back then as I used them every once in awhile for looking something up. They've been making it increasingly difficult to use the old credits that I brought when I signed up. Now They've made it entirely impossible. They app doesn't work AT ALL now until you have a subscription (which I don't want or need) but my "account" is supposed to and "app only" account. No thanks, just lost a 7 1/2 year account holder. (Not that you care)

USELESS. I signed up for a 7 day free trial to find Info on a potential scam caller that has been harrasing. I saw that I could cancel anytime. No cancel option anywhere that I can find on the website and the app. Now I can't login. No info was given that I needed, even with unlimited features. All of my info is wrong too, with no way to correct it. Beenverified is just like every other service posting wrong information over many many years with no way to change it, remove it, etc. UNRELIABLE!

Total joke. Did absolutely nothing, took my money and I can't get into anything on the site. Told me to sign in with phone number, login asks for email even though the "saved" login has my correct phone number and password. Totally no access and can't even cancel because my account "DOESN'T EXIST" according to them. What are they doing with your information??!?!!

Do not subscribe. In order to cancel an automatic bill from Been Verified, you must call an automated number and participate in a 6-step process, complete with sales pitch to keep.you as a customer. Why? If the process is automated, why not incorporate it into your app? Why not a single step process? Here's why: Been Verified makes it as complicated as possible for you to cancel so they can keep the money flowing to them. Slimy business practices. Do not subscribe.

I've paid for the app for a few years. I logged in after an extended time to check updates. Everything has completely changed. Nothing is as it was. All of my previous searches are showing way less information and missing things that were there. Uninstall, cache clear, restart, and reinstall solved nothing. There is no way to delete individual reports without deleting all of them. I will be canceling and trying one of the other apps.

Stay as far away from this as you can. Everything interesting is hidden behind a monthly subscription pay wall. I tried doing the one dollar free trial but they said that I already used it which I didn't. I barely created a new account today. How is that possible. Also, you can't delete your account once created. I called their help line and they basically told me they will hold on to your data and account and payment information indefinitely and there is nothing you can do about it. Very shady stuff. I am glad I didn't spend even one dollar on these guys. Neither should you.

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. I don't think I have ever done a review for an app, but I absolutely had to for this one. I previously was subscribed to monthly 15$ payments for the premium. I had it for awhile. I then I stopped because it was getting quite expensive. I then go back on to check it out . The price of the monthly membership went to $22!! Not only that but I can't search ANYthing unless I pay. Before, you could at least see SOME things. Now this new update has completely blocked everything
