Reviews for Bend: Stretching & Flexibility

Seems like a great app.... if you pay for the subscription. There's not much information about what's available without it until you close out of the subscription offers. They offer a really good discount if you choose the yearly option. And I probably would have paid it. But I'm not gonna pay 25-40 dollars for something without actually getting to look it over first. The only option available for free users is, one 5 minute stretch routine lol. Seems predatory imo.

I love the app. It has given me the flexibility I've been wanting all these years!! I gave it four stars because it's a great app, but I think it would be more helpful if some of the stretches had visual positions to show how to stretch in those positions properly. For example, the lizard pose??? I think also since it's a paid program, giving some incentives for reaching certain milestones will be a great way to keep the momentum.

I like this app, I really, really do! It has great stretches and workouts and it's easy to customize. However, why isn't the lifetime purchase available alongside the monthly and yearly subscriptions in the app somewhere? I saw it once, decided against it for the time being, but wanted it when my trial ran out. Now it's nowhere to be seen, but the yearly subscription is being forced on me. Not very cool. That makes me want to delete the app altogether.

I like the interface, timers, stretch selection, along with readily available explanations and the ability to build routines. This app is a pleasure to use. There is room for improvement, but there always is with any app. More options in the timer settings would be appreciated. Options such as when and what to sound (like one tone for the countdown and a different one for the count between positions).

I love the ease and reliance of the Bend app. I hadn't stretched much since high school, and though I should return since I had been experiencing back, neck, and knee pains due to my physical job. Even just a couple sessions a week will have you feeling infinitely better! I love how I can create custom routines to target my worse areas. And even then pre/post workout options are great since I've started going to the gym. The free version is good, but the full version is truly worth every penny!

This is exactly the app I'm looking for!! Simple UI, poses that don't require you to watch a video, a daily reminder option and the ability to make your own routines. Problem is, I can't use any of that because there is only one exercise available for free. The subscription isn't very affordable, and I would consider paying for it if it was a one time fee but I don't think that it's worth paying for a monthly or yearly fee at this pricepoint.

There is no free version. I'm the trial, you only get the "Wake Up" stretches, and after the trial goes away, it's just an app taking up space on your phone. The auto timer was nice, but I can use other customizable timer apps. The app did explain under the stretches what you should be feeling and focusing on, so that was nice. It's just too expensive for the convenience.

downloaded the app with enthusiasm. They hit immediately with an ad stating you could get a lifetime discount on yearly subscriptions, but it was a one-time offer. I have no idea if the subscription is worth that amount, and frankly, I'm offended that I would lose out on a discount of 60-70% simply because I've never used the app before and I don't like being bullied into committing to a subscription for a service I've never used before. Immediately uninstalled. Never coming back.

Used it for about two weeks, my biggest issue is that it doesn't really adjust itself much for weight. I'm heavier and selected that stretches putting strain on my knees were bad and... it did nothing beyond add a tiny blurb at the bottom of the explanation to remind me I indicated my knees were an area of concern. Thanks, I know, that's why I picked that option, maybe stop recommending poses which put strain on my knees. Also, absolutely spams you with ads for premium.

Hey! I'm super happy with this app so far. I like the pre-loaded routines like wake-up, full body, posture reset, and sleep and have been using them. I have chronic low back pain and tight hamstrings, and this app has helped with both. I am actually able to touch my toes for the first time in forever. The stats are very useful, and I like being able to set my own reminders. Well done on this one. Flexibility is an extremely important part of overall fitness that I've been ignoring for too long.

I have really enjoyed the app so far! I ended up subscribing to it for 20$ per year deal when you first sign up. It has great variety of stretches. My body has been feeling so much better with doing them daily. It's a great app for someone who doesn't have the time or energy to plan a stretching routine. The only downside to the app is the AI feature which is honestly feels unnecessary. Overall definitely a solid 4 stars!!

I like that there's a free version and that the exercises are tailored and short. I wish there was some voice direction for each stretch though. also a sounds at the beginning of an exercise like the one at the end. They play an ad you can't exit out of after doing a lesson which is kind of annoying. Not that they play it but that I can't exit when it's done. Overall, I like and I'll probably keep.

I've found the perfect app for me. Most yoga apps I've tried were expensive and I really wanted something with more focus on flexibility. Recently, I've added strength training to my routine so I needed something for that as well but didn't want to pay for an additional app. Then I found Bend and BOOM...I can have it all in one place! I've been using the free version for a few weeks now but today I finally subscribed for access to more variety. I absolutely love this app.

I was a bit hesitant at first with the app but actually taking the time and doing the stretches improved a lot my motivation for things has builded up and although some stretches may hurt I feel good afterwards and you get 3 free tries to make your own routine and it has great features I only get an ad when I finish stretching and it's literally an ad for the app but I highly recommend this app if you want to start your stretching journey !!

I am a very state driven person. I like things like the Bendometer amd the streaks. I have been wanting to become more flexible for years and I can't stay consistent. This app has kept me stretching everyday for atleast 5 minutes for 25 days. my current goal is 30. Everyone i know that's flexible has one thing in common. the stretch consistently over a long period of time.

I absolutely love this app!! Perfect for (pretty much) anyone! Free option works great. Yes there are a few adds, but not terrible. I can definitely see the benefits of upgrading, probably much more customizable. I recommend this app to EVERYONE. No joke, I had increased flexibility after 14 days! 15 mins in the morning most days and two days of the 30 minute killer. lol Who knew stretching could be fun? I look forward to my stretch every morning! Thanks for the app guys!!!

stretches are great and I like the format, which makes it easy to do the stretches. what's bad is I have the free version and every time I open it, I get an ad to get the paid version and the "no thanks" is so low on my mobile screen, I can no longer close the ad without closing the app. I understand that I have the free version, I'm going to get ads, but at least let me close them!

I get really tense shoulders and following these stretches has helped. The sessions are short and the video and written instructions easy to follow. Plus, you can customize your own stretch sessions by choosing which stretches you want to add and how long you want them to be. Great app! Great way to take a quick work break to do something that helps my body move and feel better.

Bend is the best app I have ever come across! It's exceptionally good at motivating you to move with clear, concise exercises, demostrated with simple, sweet pictures and direction arrows allowing you to copy and do it without having to think about it. You can choose to specify an area to work on or choose a full body option. I love how you can chose which area, as well as choose short 4/5 min workouts or go as long as 30 minutes. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get moving daily!

I like that I can make a customized stretch routine. This will be handy when I hurt my back (because that's a matter of when and how bad, not if). I do wish there was an option to replace a pose in one of the ready routines. There are some poses I can't do (pigeon pose tweaks my lower back) so I just do something else, but it'd be nice if there were alternatives to choose from that stretch the same area.
