Description
Been playing Betwixt—The Mental Health Game for a couple months now. It’s basically an interactive story app that helps you with anxiety, depression, and all that mental health stuff. Kinda like having a digital therapist in your pocket, but more fun and engaging.
Here’s what you do: you follow these cute characters on an adventure and make choices that help you deal with your thoughts and feelings. There’s also little mini-games and exercises that teach you coping skills. It’s got a really nice, calming vibe to it.
Look, if you struggle with your mental wellbeing, you’ll probably get a lot out of this app. It’s not perfect – can get a little repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job of making you feel better. Worth checking out for sure.
Editor Opinion
I've tried a bunch of mental health apps and Betwixt is one of the better ones. The storytelling is engaging and the interactive elements are a nice change from just journaling or tracking moods. It's not as clinical as a therapy app, which I think makes it more accessible. The only downside is it can start to feel a bit samey if you use it every day, but mixing it up with other self-care activities solves that. Overall, a pretty solid option for improving your mental health in a fun, low-pressure way.
