Reviews for Bill Payment Reminder, Budgets

← Back to Bill Payment Reminder, Budgets

I have used this app for years to keep on track with bills. This past month it changed the due dates on my bills, without notice. I was slapped with overdue fees that choked me! Not safe to depend on at all! Going back to a notebook and a pencil to keep track of bills. At least I won't have multiple fees when I barely scrape by as it is.

Most of the Bill reminder apps I've tried force account connections or rarely send out reminders. This app let's me manual add, always sends me reminders and has been great. I don't pay through the app, just use it to track what's due when and what I paid etc. I can set reminders for whenever I want per Bill or as a while (like remind me weekly on this day/time to pay bills). I can track which account I pay each one from, categorize expenses and so much more that I don't use.

I purchased the ad free version in the beginning of 2020 but now the ads are showing on my application! I was trying to figure out what the issue is and the only option I had was migrating from AdFree to yearly pro subscription! Once I click on select button to read more it upgraded my app to yearly subscription and there is no way to go back to how it was even though it wasn't at free either anymore! The only thing I need is ad free not pro annual subscription!

The amount of options for budgeting and whatnot seem cool but I personally don't use any of that and I find it cumbersome to mark bills as paid. You have to click on the bills, click "mark paid" on that screen, it asks what account you're paying from, and then brings you to a "bill is paid" screen which you have to back out of to see your list of bills again. Repeating these actions like 6 or 7 times in a row becomes a bit tedious. I wish I could select 5 bills at once and click "mark all paid"

I loved this app until it failed me catastrophically. One day, it just silently moved half my bills' due dates to the 15th of the month, and the other half to the last day of the month. I didn't figure this out until I had already missed several bills, which resulted in quite a few expensive late charges. I'll never be able to trust it again. I'm uninstalling it and am warning others that this can happen. If you're continuing to use this app or just installing it for the first time, beware.

It is a good app that you can use for free if you are entering things manually. I like that it is an option because there are so few apps that allow that, and I don't want to connect my accounts to a third party. I raised it to 4 stars as they did address my complaint about interest not adding each month to your payment so the payments always needing manual adjustment each month. It is much better, though some little adjustments are needed. Daily compounding option please, cause student loans.

Really fantastic. Even just the basic free version works with no errors. Connects whichever list you want to Google Home so you can just say "Hey Google add such and such to my shopping list" right as you think of it instead of having to open your phone. Also connects to Shipt no problems. It essentially grabs your list, opens it in Shipt, and let's you shop one item at a time, at the store of your choosing. Absolutely fantastic app. No errors, no force-closures, very user friendly.

Lots of great features, but if you're just looking to track utility bills it's not very streamlined. Better if users could –Set their Start Screen (e.g. Bills). –Set "expense entry" default to unchecked. I don't always remember so it looks like I'm $15,000 in debt. Since 1.22.126, too many notifications: Multiple bill reminders each day. Keeping track on paper might have been easier.

I've been saving pay dates and bill due dates in Excel for years. This is far less work, and it has mildly pesky reminders that no matter how busy I am, I'll get it done. I like that I set the bill up, apply a 5 day ahead reminder, and know that I'll never be able to get overwhelmed with work and forget to send money. I would like to see a way to set up for my 2 week party periods and my fixed deposite amount, that way it could track the fixed money in vs bills out plus any incidentals out.

Just no right yet. It incorrectly selects billing companies even though I select the correct one, for example, I don't have American Express however it keeps changing one of my bills to American Express. It wont clear some of the alerts. And what seperates bills from expenses? I dont know because I show some of the same bills in both. If I edit a bill, it does not keep the change after saving.

I really want to like this app, but it just isn't working the way I need it to. Accounts only stay synced for a few weeks and then tend to break when they no longer a synced. I still haven't been able to add a credit card from an account that I have my bank account connected from it just isn't worth the subscription. The only plus side is you can use the bill reminders for free, I would not recommend buying premium of this app as it just doesn't work.

The app interface is good and the way it organizes is easy to understand. But they charge $3.99 per month for syncing with your bank acct and 90% of the time the syncs are horrible. Even when doing a manual advanced sync and telling the system you have missing transactions, it will still continue to have incorrect balance and transaction history. Days later. Charging for sync service that does not work is a rip off. Will probably cancel when current month is up.

Lovely app. The only one I feel confident in using to organize my bills. It allows me to make partial payments, tells me what is still due after, and keeps tabs of the multiple payments I can make. Though, keep an eye on your partial payments, and past due, because I've noticed some bills morph into one another, or disappear entirely on your "upcoming" tab. I've marked bills paid that weren't paid because the app tells me it's something else. My only concern. No biggie. I don't have many bills.

Used the free version right at first for a few months. I really liked it for the bill pay reminder. Then got the paid version. I was what I was looking for, it showed all my transactions. It also has some down sides. Everytime I mark a bill paid, it shows up in the transactions. Then when that check gets deposited it shows up again. So at the end of the month the total expenses is not correct because some checks are added twice. Also the bank doesn't stay connected. Always needing to reconnect

I have been using the app since the beginning of the year and it has been great. Some improvements, ability to sort your accounts how you want them, and have the Total budget on the home screen. I believe this was there before but since the update it now just shows a category instead of overall.

I loved this app in the beginning but over time it had updates and bugs that made it so annoying to use. First, half my credit institutions are no longer supported, now I have to track them manually. Second, the connections to my synched institutions expires almost daily, so I have to refresh by logging in again. Then when I refresh there's a 50/50 chance the institution is no longer supported on the app. Third, spending is not automatically categorized, you have to input the spending manually

Overall the app has been great. My biggest complaint is not being able to add/change items for other family members. As the main person inserting information, this causes added stress having to nag family members to input their data, since I cant simply change anything once added for someone else. Also, not being able to setup income/bills tied to another family member.

I usually don't write reviews, as they are usually very subjective, but have been using this app for well over a year and after figuring out what features would work for what I was looking to find in a bill app (I definitely don't use all the features) and it has easily become my absolute go to for keeping my due dates and monthly expenses at my fingertips. Having that information at the ready anytime really makes you stay in control even when you don't feel like you are. 5/5 stars for me.

This app looks great. if you ignore the fact that a subscription is required. I personally was hoping to be able to split bills by income automatically as they come in, by linking my accounts. the only real purpose to using an app, for me, is to be able to automate some of the work. otherwise, I can easily look everything i need up quickly and keep my budget in my head. I understand others may not be able to do that, but I can, so I only needed the one thing they don't have.I'm still debating 4☆

Love the app. Very visually appealing which is a big plus for me, has a lot of useful functions and features. I love that it has auto pay options. One thing that would make it an outstanding app is the ability to add alarms (not just notifications) that won't go away, until dismissed or snoozed. Along with this feature I would like there to be a driving mode where it automatically detects driving and instead of the alarm popping up it would just send a notification only until you stop driving.
