So here's my honest take on Bloom: 10 Worlds. I've tested a bunch of music apps and this one's pretty unique. The generative music feature is super cool and I love how you can just start tapping away to make your own compositions. It's not as full-featured as something like GarageBand, but it's a lot more accessible and just fun to play with. The visuals are great too. Only downside is it can get repetitive after a while, and the learning curve is a bit steep if you're not familiar with this type of app.

Pros

  • Unique music creation experience with endless generative songs
  • Visuals are mesmerizing and complement the audio really well
  • Easy to pick up and start making cool sounds, no music skills required
  • Free to play, don't need to spend money to enjoy it

Cons

  • Interface can be confusing at first, takes a while to figure out all the features
  • Gets a bit repetitive after extended use
  • May not have enough depth for hardcore music fans

Description

Been using Bloom: 10 Worlds for a couple months now. It’s basically a music creation app where you can just tap the screen to make cool sounds and melodies. Pretty solid app if you’re into generative music or just playing around with audio.

Here’s what you do: you start with a blank canvas and there’s these little circles you can tap to create different musical notes and patterns. There’s also a bunch of settings to tweak the sounds, add effects, and stuff like that. And if you leave it alone, it’ll just start generating its own infinite music – it’s kinda mesmerizing.

Look, if you’re into music apps or just want something relaxing and creative to mess around with, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re bored.

Finally available for android, and oh so wonderful. Would love a sleep timer longer than 60 minutes, at least a couple of hours. Beautiful app!

Been waiting 10 years for a version to finally be available on Android. A must have if you're a fan of Eno's (or anyone else's for that matter) ambient works.

Super nice app, writing great. Will get 5 starts when it has background play 😊 I want to listen with the screen off and phone in pocket. OnePlus 6, Android...
