DON’T TRUST THIS APP. It shows you a random transcription like /beɪŋk/ for “bank” and the support says “it’s correct and the most common pronunciation in English”. So if you want to learn illiterate (as in dictionaries this is considered a mistake and a deviation of some dialects) language to be the first guy on […]

you’ll probably learn sounds if you’re a beginner. if you are advanced, well, their so-called tailored plan is just a regular plan 1 fits it all. practicing your own sentences in this tool is a joke.
It’s a really good app it feels personal the guidance is simple but powerful, and it really does feel like a coach is right there helping me improve.
The app helps fix some apparent issues with your pronunciation. However, do not expect a miracle if your English is already at an advanced level.
Best app for mastering phonetics I as a non-native dont have many sounds that english has. this app helped me distinguish those sounds and pronounce them correctly. I wish it had more to english sentence rhythm.
I loved everything I learned and practiced. That was super cool and encouraging. Thank you, guys—your app will actually improve my speaking as a whole. I just wish I could find funds to purchase a full package before the trial expires.
The recently updated version doesn’t automatically stop recording after capturing my voice. That’s really inconvenient. Please fix it.
Developers, please do something about that popup when you fail a word 5 times, because it’s very annoying. Disabling/enabling “Save to Bookmarks When Coach Recommends It” doesn’t affect this popup. I only practice individual words. I don’t use “the main course”. I don’t care about words I already say with proper accent. I care about […]
This app has also helped me to improve my listening, and now, I’m more aware of why people have trouble understanding me when saying some words, with specific sounds that, because they don’t exist in my native language, I’ve struggled to identify, and of course, to pronounce.
these app are very good because these app Lear। about small small mistake and improve your words and in my face these app are very good and excellent because they improve your pronounce and explain how are you speak and really that is good for to speak english
It is an amazing app! Even if you can understand English very well and even speak not so bad, but your accent will follow you wherever you go. This app helps you to get rid of your unwanted accent, if not completely, then at least to an acceptable point.
First of all I should say that: this app has a good team and they are very kind and smart. so if you had any problem with this app they support you. after that, about the app I really lucky which become familiar with blod voice. this app is really awesome and necessary for everyone.
Great to learn how to pronounce correctly. However the sound recognition (when you speak) appears to be quite faulty. So, at times, the practice feature is not really useful.
when opening the app yesterday and today, a Black screen happened, I could sign the bottom buttons but nothing was happening when clicking on it, no daily practice was appaearing for me to train! im paying for this app, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it, tried to log in, reset password, no emails sent to […]
I’m looking to learn a British accent, not something I was born and raised with. This app either has only one mode specifically for foreigners moving to America, or it doesn’t share the other modes with those who want an accent without having to move to another country. I wish they made this clear before […]
I’ve tried it with my friend who just started learning English and has a very strong accent. While he gets %90 correct, me and my American friend done %78-%75 correct most of the time so the voice recognation is completely a scam. Other than that, advertising monhtly payments and then charging 89 dollars at one […]
It wastes your time by having the questionnaire portion at the beginning, and only showing you the price of the subscription after you’ve already wasted time answering questions. This is a UX dark pattern. It also requires a credit card or “sufficient google play credit” to use the 7-day free trial. And then it’s $150. […]
7 months, No progress. The app doesn’t teach American prosody or evaluate stress even for multisyllabic words. For instance, pronouncing “suspicious” as “sis-pish-iss” can still score 100. Sentences lack IPA transcriptions; after speaking, you must review each word’s pronunciation separately. Practice sentences are impractical and often cringy like: “Oh yes, our training. Hopefully, it will […]
Great for Child with Speech Impediment. I downloaded this to see if it could be used by my son to help with his pronunciation and increase his confidence. I tested the app first and always got a 100% score. I helped my son (10 years old) use the app on my phone, and his scores […]
Best app I’ve found for those who want to work on their pronunciation without ESL lessons. I’ve found that many so-called pronunciation apps are actually English lessons with focus on grammar and other aspects of the language, and pronounciation is on the backburner. This app is for pronunciation only. It is amazing, I’d recommend it […]
