This is a really good app. There are some fancy features behind a paywall, but there's more than enough in the free version, including reading progress, library organization, and note taking tools to help you annotate. It's never crashed on me, and it's simple and easy to use.
Reviews for Bookmory - reading tracker
← Back to Bookmory - reading trackerI love this app. It's such a great way to track books you love and write reviews. I love the layout so much more than other book apps; the book calendar especially. It's nice to see all the books you've read laid out in calendar format. Update! While I still love the layout, I hate that you have to constantly back up your progress OR pay to upgrade. I got a new phone and lost ALL my notes/progress because of this. I can't keep remembering to backup, so i might just switch apps.
love this app and it's really good there's just a couple things i wish were different. for one, i wish there was a "statistics by tags" in the annual statistics section. tags are super important for me and i know there's a section where you can see your overall tags stats but you can't limit the timeframe for them, and that's what i want... since you recently added the "gave up" option, i hope you can also implement a "rereading/repeating" option and for a repeat icon to show on the calendar
I've been using this for over a year now and I still love it! I always like to wait at least 6-12 months to see how I like a reading app or tool because our daily lives change and so do our hobbies, chores lists, jobs, etc. This has definitely made it through all of it and I pay the 2.99 a month because I like the benefits of being able to store and track all my reading and books, save pictures and notes on books, and then go back and look at older stuff I've done. It's fun too!
Great app! I paid for the premium version and think it's well worth it. I like adding notes for books that include pictures or screenshots; it's especially useful for saving book reviews I find online. The book calendar is visually appealing, and a nice way to remember what I read throughout the month. The only features I would add are to be able to stack rank my "Books to read later" list, and a way to Archive books I'm no longer actively interested in reading (but may want to revisit later).
I LOVE this app! I personally have only tried this one, but I've never felt the need to switch. I've had three phones all together and this is the first thing I downloaded every time! I love all the graphs and statistics you get, while it's still really easy to navigate. It has LITERALLY EVERY book, and it's super easy to search/scan them+you can add your own photos and notes! I have never had the premium version because I've never needed it, but I am SERIOUSLY debating it. 1000% recommend!!!
As much as I hate a subscription for full access as the next guy, the free version of this app is hardly limiting. You can track your reading, add onto a TBR list, set goals, rate books, and write notes FOR FREE!!! This is honestly one of my favorite apps of all time and has been encouraging me to read more, the UI is simple and pleasing. This is one of those apps I would recommend to everyone I could possibly imagine. Happy reading!!!!
very good to track what books you have and havent read and to see a full catalogue of all the ones you've completed. I like that you can add notes about the book and keep a personal rating system. there are more other features like the ability to see how long it takes you to complete a book and a way of seeing all the books you are actively reading. me personally I dont use those 2 features but i can appreciate that they are there at my disposal and seemingly well built at that. good app
aesthetically great. I like the stats, though they're not necessarily what I care about in all cases. a recent update forces a pop-up for read session results that I really wish I could disable because I have no use for it. I know how much I read in that session and I didn't enter a time so it doesn't provide any new information.
I love the app itself. It's easy to track my reading, it has plenty of free features, and there are very few ads. The ads however, are why I only gave it 4 stars. Every time an ad plays, the app crashes. ETA: After the recent update, I can only scroll through a few of my finished books before it crashes. ETA: the ad crashes and scrolling crashes are fixed!
I truly like the layout and how it all works! makes tracking easy, and I love the different breakdowns. my only complaint is that when you pause, then resume the book, it doesn't take out the days from the paused days. so if it took 5 days to read, but you paused for 10, it will still say 15 days. I dislike the new update where after you submit how much you read after starting and ending the timer, and it gives you how fast you read. be nice if i could turn it off.
I love Bookmory, have been using it for years at this point. I love that they brought us the ability to sync through other devices without downloading the data, but it drives me insane that you have to pay for it. Give us some customizations, stats, and something original to YOU, and make that the paid sub and I would easily give a 5 star. Other than that, I have zero complaints and highly reccomend this app.
I've been using the app for a few weeks and I'm in love. I've always hated other trackers but I love that you can track what type, time, and the day tracker. I also adore my different goal trackers. my one and only complaint is you do have to pay for automatic backup and a few other things but I'll definitely be paying for the yearly. it's worth it
Downloaded this to track the time of reading with my son for a reading challenge. I LOVE that it shows overall time read per month instead of individual days/books (which the book breakdown is available if you watch an ad or go premium, but I just need the overall time). Has most of the books we read in its database along with the number of pages for each book. It also offers a countdown timer instead of counting up.
I have officially passed the one month mark for using this app. This has become another great app to keep track of my books in a plethra of ways. Changes I wish to see are more highlight options as I have memory issues and use highlights as representation for certain things, helping me find specifics in my notes. Being able to delete/change/organize categories and tags would be splendid and not needing dashes would be a plus. But I adore the range of options available to me and the Calander ❤️
Accidently deleted my last review I meant to edit it 😅 but since my last review, I actually did get Premium and I'm very happy with the benefits so far. Bookshelf app is great for keeping track of what you have while this app, Bookmory, is amazing at keeping track of your TBR's. I love the little icon you get when you finish a book. And I didn't see a character limit on notes thankfully because I typically will make long notes. This app is great!!!
You can track the time you spend reading right in the app. You're also prompted to put in the page number, which is great if your bookmark falls out. The database of books is fantastic. When I hear a title or author, I can quickly add it to my "to read" and wishlist with one entry. You can also make notes about the book that are easily accessible.
I've been using this for about a year and a half and it's absolutely worth the yearly subscription fee for me. Tracking my reading could not be easier. The interface is extremely clean, never glitchy, and I love all the automatic stats breakdowns. And the (for me) priceless benefit of this not being a social interface like goodreads! The only suggestion I have would be the ability to sort books by genre in some way separate from the tags/collections features, but it does work just fine as is
Overall, I enjoy this app for helping keep track of books I've read or listened to as well as those next on my list, and the statistics kept. My only gripe is the ads. I don't use upgraded features enough to justify paying for premium, so I don't mind watching a 60 second ad from time to time to get free access to these features, but the ads have started causing the app to crash before finishing, denying me access to these features. It's not the end of the world, but still frustrating.
Smooth, clean interface. Works beautifully. I scanned all my books into collections so I know when I'm at the store which I have. I love the wishlist and currently using it to add preorders and other not yet released books. This app has truly made me happy. Well done!!!! ETA - I felt this was worth supporting the developer, so subscribed to the premium account. ETA 2 - I missed it when the app was updated to show the grand total purchase amount. This was the only thing I wanted and it's here!
