The booksy system is kicking my clients out. They are calling me to schedule their appointments during my workday. I can't keep stopping to get on the pgone during a servic to book and appointment. That is the exact reason why I pay for this app. On top of all of this the app keeps kicking them off. They aren't staying logged in and their login just doesnt work even when they have the correct password.

They claim to refer clients to your business, but I haven't seen any of that. They said it's because it's paid through Google Play? What's does that have to do with it? I'm paying for Booksy, my acct is set up and they're making excuses for payment methods. Whenever a client pays with card it screws up and it'll take about 3-5 minutes to ring someone up. That's a lot of time being wasted because of their app. When I ask for help they want me to film everything. Switching soon.

Ive been using booksy for about 7 years now and I think it's the best booking app. The app does a great job for booking appts and helping gain new clients. It has many tools and services to really have your business excel and grow. But the biggest downside is the app takes forever to load. I've literally closed the app down 7 times or more until it finally decides that it wants to help me out. Gets really annoying when it happens on a daily basis and when you have a busy schedule.

Wanted a one stop shop. Booksy offers everything I was looking for but it all falls short in execution. Customer service ppl nice but not helpful. Cant purchase gift certificates even when payments enabled. Choice of cancel OR no show, need both. To charge card on file they must have the ap bc pings for approval (almost cool but not). Memberships for "unlimited services" instead of just monthly. CC reader fails to connect 1/4. By name searchs yeild unrelated paid results... & Etc ...frustrated

Works good to view appointments.. For months it loads slow and notification constantly say connection error if you do anything more than view your schedule. Also I tried to use mobile pay and there is no option to turn this off. which forces clients to prepay with no way of turning off this option. So now I may have to delete my Booksy account which I have spent so much money on business cards, promotions, etc. Just to have to throw it away and restart somewhere else. Very disappointed lately.

I am extremely unsatisfied with booksey. As a salon owner I need for booking to run as smoothly as possible. But when it isn't syncing appointments on the calendar my stylists are getting double booked and it's my name on the line. We are actually LOSING clientele because people don't want to have to download an app just to be able to book with us. Not to mention that the cost is way too high for something that other booking sites provide free of charge. I miss Genbook. Bad merge for them.

I really like it. A few things could be different though. The reminder texts that booksy sends to the clients needs to say "do not reply". Also the message blasts need to say "do not reply". So many times I've had no shows that would later tell me "oh, well, I did reply to the reminder text you sent me that I couldn't make it....." extremely annoying. Yes they should know that isn't my number but they don't all have my number saved and booksy uses numbers that look like a regular number.

I have used Genbooks for 10 years but unfortunately they merged with "Booksy" and the last 2 days have been horrible. I went on a long rant about how much I hate "booksy," but ran out of room. So in a nut shell, it's terrible. So many features I miss, so much easier to manage my calendar with Genbooks. Currently I am trying to open up more time slots for a few weeks out from now and it won't let me because it "conflicts with scheduled time off" uhm no it doesn't... out of room to rant :(

I switched over to Booksy with hopes to make the booking process easier for my clients. I didn't realize I would be charged so much to use the app PLUS a separate fee to send messages ON TOP of the fee for any disputes or refunds ...and yet, every👏🏾 single👏🏾 day👏🏾 I have a "connection problem" notification!! I have gotten to your team on more than one occasion about this issue and it is still a persisting problem. I dread having to change again, but it's a definite possibility as of late!

I've been using booksy for 4 years. The app works great. love that my clients are able to easily book and leave reviews. only thing, when the client uses another form of payment other than cash or mobile, it's had to find locate another form of payment. Majority of my clients pay from their package. So the process to check them out it a little confusing because it has to be done manually. it should be a smooth process like the other payment options

The only plus side of this app is clients are able to leave a deposit , which you'll be charged for anyways. You'll pay $30 a month for 12 months totaling to over $350 a year plus Everytime they charge you to deposit your own money. You won't be able to reach anyone of the phone , ever. I have had issues getting a "connect" when the wifi box is right next to me so it's a error on their end. A lot of their links will take you to a "wrong url" . I don't know how anyone has patience to use this it

This app is horrible. I've used gembook and acuity, I'd rather use either of those over Booksy. Why? We're receiving notifications for every appointment, instead of just our own individual appointment bookings? This has been going on at least a year, fix your app. Edit: need more specifics? The app is constantly going down...we can't make appointments, cancel, or sometimes even see any appointments. Can our clients even book appointments? Are you messing with my money now? Horrible, stay away!

Overall, the app is slow to load. You have to use the browser version to get 90% of your reports or to close floating drawers. Clients are basically forced to download the app & even with that they don't receive reminders/notifications (or marketing messages) 95% of the time. You pay more per month than some other software systems that offer more and work better. The only way to have a card on file for clients (for no show/ late cancellations) is for them to do so on the app! No control.

Overall a decent app for booking clients. It is beyond frustrating that there is no option to book every 4 weeks (same day of the week/time) it only gives you the option to book it as "monthly" so the day is never the same if you choose that option. Other complaint is that when viewing your schedule for the week, you can not drag appointments to another day. Could be a super easy and awesome fix on Booksy's end.

I love Booksy because you can easily screw over customers and the company does NOTHING about it. All you need to do is wait for a customer to prepay for an appointment, and then you just cancel the appointment. It's that simple! You can also have the customer prepay for an appointment, and if your store is conveniently closed when the customer shows up for that appointment, then they are out of luck. Either way, you get to keep the prepayment, and the customer has no recourse.

I've used booksy for almost 5 years.. it's usually fine.. but with the newest update, I can't log in to my books!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. When you call customer service, all i was told is that it's working just fine on their end so it must be my device. It's not my device. My device has no problems with anything else!! Why update an app if its going to make it not work??!?!?!

Booksy loves to charge you their "finders fee, %, share" whatever you want to call it, but they make it very inconvenient, difficult, and time-consuming to get a refund on a cancelation of an appointment from a new customer who comes to you through their referral program. I gave them a 2nd star (reluctantly) only because the program does occasionally get me/you a new client. Don't forget, though, if they cancel, you'll have to make phone calls and spend time monitoring your account 4 your refund

You'll need to enter the phone number of your clients, the app does not look up names. after you you'll make an appointment only to have it go blank. you'll put an appointment into the slot and it will say there is a schedule conflict, when you back out to see the issue, your new appointment is in the way of its own schedule. is this another appointment made by a fellow employee? who knows?! people can skip the credit card info and make fake appointments. clients get locked out for no reaso

Android version has bugs. I can't see all my clients' profiles. Just a loading screen. I have to use a laptop to accomplish this task. Also I can't enter "cents" for tips, just whole dollar amounts. Again, I can only get around this by using the desktop site. This is unacceptable from a business app I'm paying a monthly subscription for. Please fix these issues. Otherwise it works fine.

For the most part I love Booksy! It has been a great help to my business! On occasion it can be hard to navigate. I also don't like that I can't utilize a suggested tip amount by $dollar it only allows percentages. Allowing it by dollar amount would help encourage clients to tip more. In my opinion. Otherwise wonderful app! Very thorough records for tax purposes! 😁
