Reviews for Calorie Counter - MyNetDiary

This is hands down the best diet tracking app out of ALL the top contenders. I spent hours downloading and testing them and this blows them away with features, customizability and detail. The free version is great and offers plenty, but the premium plan truly shines and is well WORTH IT if you want to take your goals seriously. My favorite part is setting up targets for all the different nutrients and watching all the bars fill up by the end of the day! Fast logging food, fast support team!

I think this app is overall great. The database is extensive and trustworthy. I love how you can take progress photos tied to your weight for the day. The premium features like recipe import and scan from a photo works well. My only real gripe and why it's 4 starts and not 5 is because the advanced autopilot is useless. It always fails check-ins and turns itself off.

I started using this app a week ago. I like the grading of the food but it disappeared. It helped me to make better choices. I am down almost 4 pounds and find the app easy to use. I am most successful when I track my food and this app helps. I do think an annual fee is a bit much or I would consider maybe paying for premium though I don't feel it's necessary. Again, I like the food grading and would like it to come back and then you can have 5 stars.

very helpful tool for fitness and weight management. I can connect my fitbit data which helps me get a more accurate look at my day. the one thing I think its lacking is period tracking. I find that my cycle plays a big part in my nutrition and fitness goals and it would be good to see that data alongside everything else i'm tracking. I have lost 89lbs in the last 20 months and this app has been one tool I consistently used to get here.

this is the best food tracking, calorie counting, weight loss app I've ever used. There's so much you can adjust and critique your nutrition intake.Paid option you can pick life style meals from vegetarian to keto. You can add ingredients and make it a meal for easier adding later. the barcode scanning works great. and you can add items by taking a picture of the nutrition labels. exercise can be taken off your cal intake or not. I wish I could link my Amazfit Band 5. Manually adding steps 😮‍💨

The app is good, but frequent bugs make a frustrating experience at times (free version). Sharing recipes between my wife and I is cumbersome; if we use any method other than text, the recipe doesn't upload to our individual accounts. Another concern is that when tryingnto log meals, sometimes the app refuses to log it properly. I just packed my lunch for the day, and I am trying upload the recipe for lunch. The app refuses to log it as lunch, and instead is putting it as breakfast.

I just started using the MyNetDiary app and I love it! My previous food tracking app starting charging for basic features like the barcode scanner, so I needed something new to track my food. MyNetDiary is such a great app- it makes it easy to track food/weight/progress, it has helpful reminders, and the features like the barcode scanner and stored list of foods makes it very fast to log meals. I am so happy I found this app to help me on my weight loss journey!

I've been using the free version for a week now and it's hands down the best FREE app for helping you keep on track. Not only does it provide you with counting calories, carbs and fat but they give advice to help along the way. Track your water and exercise as well. If I could afford the paid version I would. I'd love to be able to see the detailed information of all the vitamins and minerals I intake and have access to all the amazing features the free version don't have. Dont change a thing!

SO, so, so MUCH better than My Fitness Pal! You can log your foods by scanning the bar code, and the scanner in the app is super sensitive- works like a dream. Bought the premium version at 50% off. You can add your activities manually if you choose (I prefer manually). Shows you every detail of food consumption you need. You can disable food grades too! Has every minute detail of food nutrition, calories, macro, micro. So glad I decided to try this app. BEST app ever❣️I can achieve my goals!

Great library of foods and it is easy to track calories by scanning labels. Only downside is the connection between fitness apps and this one. Half the time it doesn't import calories burned properly. Edit- it's not importing any calories burned. I've connected it with Google Fit, Samsung Health, and Health Connect. No matter what I try, the steps import to MyNetDiary but calories burned doesn't. I've tried reinstalling numerous times. Nothing works. 3 stars now.

I was reluctant to purchase the app but was so impressed by it after the first week that I did. It's well thought out and easy to use. We make most food at home so when I've used similar diaries it's been time consuming to enter foods that have lots of ingredients. Mynetdiary is quick to enter foods bc of the variety of ways - manual, barcodes, custom foods, favorites, & the AI meal scan. Latter is pretty good, even comes close to est quantities. Sync to other apps sometimes glitches briefly.

A little scattered and confusing at first until you get used to it. I can't log custom foods properly because they never show up in the recent list or search results. When I do log the custom food there is no way to set a serving size so it adds the entire recipe which is multiple servings. I can't edit the serving size of foods I already logged. Other than that, the app is great.

I am crazy impressed with the value of the free version. Planning to get the annual subscription after my subscription to a more expensive program ends shortly. The food looks up and calorie tracking is fantastic. I dare say better than the program I've (just) cancelled and others I've tried before. My goal isn't hitting my 'goal' weight but really understanding my eating habits and nutritional analysis. (Planning to upgrade to paid when my cancelled subscription runs out)

Can't adjust macros at all unless you pay. At least with MyFitnessPal, you can adjust your macros to roughly fit what you need for free. Even with how buggy and pay walled MFP is, it still has a lot of functions that this doesn't. Especially larger (although largely inaccurate) food data base. This app leaves a lot to be desired. It's a shame that you have to pay wall basic stuff. Makes wanting to use the app a dreaded thing.

UI was fine. Concept was there. Would not recommend for people trying to GAIN weight. The app severely overestimates the amount of calories in some foods; immediately could tell after like a day. Personally, I'm not going to tough it out and see if it evens out or something along those lines. I opted for a different app.

Great app. Has personally helped me lose over 50 lbs. Great database of food items, you can find virtually the nutritional information for anything on there, and the ai food scan is a great feature, for if you go out to eat for example, and don't feel like or have the patience to log every food item on your plate. The free version works great, but I will say the paid upgrade is worth it in my opinion.

I have been on a weightloss journey for 6 years and have made little progress. Ive tried many different things. In 2020 I lost 40 pounds calorie counting, but i gained severe depression and needed to get help. Sincr then I have been redicent to count calories, reasonably so, right? Now 5 years later, im about 8 pounds less than my starting point in 2020. I found this app and began counting calories again. I have been very impressed! I love the layout and design of the app. It's so easy to use!

been using this app on and off for a few years. i feel like it has more options and better accessibility than other calorie counting apps, and the free barcode scanning is a huge plus. don't bother using the ai meal scan, though, as i've found it to be very inaccurate. other than that, i always recommend this app for all its features and display options

Set-up was easy, but christ, 5 different "Please join premium" screens? And also the use of AI is gross. I'll update this further as I use it, but both of what I mention warrant an instant review. Update, lost a star, because of how hard they push the premium. If something is premium access only, don't show it. In fact, it's so annoying, I'm going to switch to another app. If it was a one time payment, then fine, but 60 bucks a year? And you still sell our data

Hands down, the best nutrition tracking app I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot! Even with the free version, it has all the main macros available to track, unlimited meal and ingredient tracking, and a simple, easy to use layout that's also visually appealing. This app has helped me lose over 80 pounds! Can't recommend it enough. The only feature I really wish it had was to transfer all meals to a different day, rather than going item by item, meal by meal.
