Don't bother. no Google pay integration, no integration with store inventory. first and last time using this app. just order in drive through, it takes the same amount of time and they can at least tell you they don't have what you want to order.

App doesnt work at all since Android upgrade, even after reinstalling. Gets stuck on "oops try again" indefinitely.
Android's native back gesture doesn't work and it doesn't make any sense why my music stops playing while the app is open.
the rewards is glitched, takes my points and I don't get it or won't let me order the item at all. plus there's not many "deals"
Won't let me make an account. Says, "Unable to complete sign up. Please ensure all information has been provided." But all info *was* provided. Tried twice, same outcome. Haven't been to Captain Ds in years, but thought of it and decided to get the app. App doesn't work, so deleting and going somewhere else. Oh, well. Maybe, in a few years, I'll think of Captain Ds again and give it another try. Update: I tried to order as a guest, and it still didn't work. Won't let me enter cc#. Deleting
Just set up. Drop down list for fav locations didn't work, so I'll have to go in & change that hopefully. Offered a welcome reward that was considered "incompatible" w/o explanation. Finally able to create an account after months of trying. Easy to order, but extremely difficult to set up.
Worst app ever! You can not even create an account. Constantly telling you to complete all fields and no matter how many times you go back, there are NO fields that are not filled in...... When you order as a guest and submit your order, you are back at the screen to submit your order. You have to check your bank account to see if they took the payment out and check your email to see if there is a confirmation email for your order..... This app is the worst.......
Horrible app construction! Why go thru the trouble of setting up an app for ordering and not have it to were you can set a certain time for pickup!?! Idiocracy that's why! Might as well order at the window, no discounts offered, no way to remove items from the cart, no way to set up a timed pickup or delivery. Do better or don't do it all.
Would be a 5 star review, but always an issue when I want to use my points for an item. Always says I have insufficient points for whatever I'm trying to use them on and I have more than enough points for the items I'm redeeming for. Great to order ahead and save a little time, but horrible for all the other things the app is supposed to offer and do.
I tried several times to order over this past year, in the app, to use coupons codes that I received in the mail. It has always said " coupon can not be applied". So I end up clipping the coupon and going to the restaurant to order in person. What the point of this app if I can't use my coupons in the app??? It's useless to me, but I still try every once in a while thinking, to no avail, that this time it will work.
The website is easier to use. this app is beyond frustrating. there is no option to reset password. when you try to enter a card number and check out as a guest it won't work and just shows a prompt saying a valid name needs to be entered, yet there's no place to enter a name. I should have just ordered dinner elsewhere and skipped the headache.
How does this app have 4.3 stars?? Go back over a year and almost all of the reviews are 1 or 2 stars. The points don't get added, the website has a different point total from the app, and when you try to add a receipt manually it won't take it. You can't use coupons in the app either so you have to order at the store. I shouldn't have to contact customer service every time I purchase something from the restaurant. They are aware of these issues but haven't done anything to correct them.
The app needs some work! I love my local Captain D's but this app lacks basic functionality like scheduling a future pick up order. If you make a mistake you have to start over as it completely empties the cart. The biggest failure is that you can't add points in the app, you have to use a separate Captain D's SpendGo account online. Half the time you enter a receipt, it won't accept it! Totally defeats the purpose of having an app.
I ordered from the app to get the rewards points since the store can't add them. However, you can't choose dine in as an option, and the store couldn't care less about app orders. Ordered at 10:48, promised ready at 10:59, checked several times at counter after waiting in line, hadn't started the order, several walk-ins ordered after me were served before me, can't cancel on the app and get refunds, and finally got my food 20 minutes late. Also, "free" rewards charge sales tax.
I love the idea of points by using the app but!!!!! You can not redeem the points... So what is the sense of even using the app? If you cannot redeem your points? The app definitely needs to be updated and corrected. When it comes to redeeming poiother than that. It's great at the time. I get there. My food is ready. I hope they change this really soon.
Missing some meals and sides. Literally haven't been able to order on it a single time because at least one item my family wants is missing every time I try to order on it. If you aren't going to accept phone orders anymore in favor of this app then it should at least have everything in it. Also the UI isn't the worst but it's not that great. The back button will just move to a different tab instead of backing out of sub-menus.
The app does not update the rewards point balance. I have ordered once on the app and the order process was fairly simple. My local CD'S is great. Order was accurate and fresh and hot. But the points did not apply. My point total is correct when I login on web browser but missing 142 points on the app. This needs to be fixed. It would also be great if you could add a receipt in app rather than logging in on browser. I also contacted support and never received a reply.👎
Captain D's has some of the absolute worst customer service. I've sent emails, FB messages, and the contact us through the app, and have gotten zero responses. I had questions regarding coupons I received in an email, and couldn't figure out how to use them on the app. I wanted to be able to get reward points. My first order on the app was great. Ordered the online special (2 two piece fish meals for 13.99) awesome deal. Now they have that same deal for $17.18 (no deal by the way). Needs work. ☹
