Weired app as I was charged too much for an order of simple Pulow and they showed it was for 29 AED and when I closed it it shows 47AeD which is clearly a scam. when i contacted to cancel the order they charged me full amount and cancelled the order as well. according to them the restaurant says they made it ready within 1 minute which is something not cooked for me specially and Careem can't do anything with restaurant Killing this useless app as I can get better deals and prices on Noon.

BE CAUTIOUS TO LINK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. IF THEY DOUBLE CHARGE, THERES NO WAY THEY WILL HELP YOU GET IT BACK.. Very Poor Customer Service. I have been double charge and when i seek help thru the app, they responded after 3 days and the other one after 19 hours saying case resolved. But no one, as in NO One will take your complaint in an immediate manner. Also send an email, but again, no response as usual.

If there were a smaller rating I would have gladly given it. It is a highly unreliable app with very limited technology. The GPS quality is abysmal, and it extremely disappointing especially if you are in a timecrunch. In the recent past, it has become so pathetic especially in the availability, the route planning, and the quality of customer service.

App not very accurate. Several times the drivers could not find us and cancelled. Did not respond back to refund request when drivers cancelled trips; took the money but no responses back. Had money taken out for trips we didnt book. Was difficult to tell which direction the driver was coming from and very often not accurate when the driver would arrive. Very unsettling because you cannot see the drivers driving route; could be taking you anywhere. Very shady app and poorly designed and managed.

The application is great but the service sometimes is not good. I once requested a taxi then the driver got lost. Then he told me to cancel the trip. The customer is the one who pays for cancellation of trip. However I cleared the issue by taking another trip. This time the driver was way professional and great help from the customer service I still paid for the previous incident but now all is well the second staff team helped big time.

I had a very disappointing experience with this service. They offer a “Box” delivery option between two points, but nowhere did they mention that it is limited only to Dubai. The app allows you to select other locations, and after my order was picked up, I received a call saying it would be cancelled because my location was out of their coverage area. Now I have to wait 7 for a refund. This is extremely frustrating and misleading. Definitely the first and last time I will be using this App

I transferred money through Careem and applied the promo code '20back' but didn't receive any cashback. And after complaining, I received different replies each time and in the end I was told that the promocode wasn't applicable. So, why the advertised in the first place? Only to fool the public and lure them to transfer money at poor rates! This app was very good at the beginning but now it has gone from bad to worse.

Worst app. First, my order that was supposed to be fast delivery arrived more than an hour late. I submitted a complaint and got 15 dhs refund as a token. Then I found out the item delivered was the wrong size, so I complained again. After a few days, I was suddenly logged out of my account and couldn’t log back in no matter how many times I tried. Very disappointing experience.

I ordered groceries and paid for it using my Careem wallet. when I received the bags, some items were not there, and they were not on the receipt that the driver provided me. So basically, Careem charged me for the items that were not bought. There is no customer service agent to talk to, and the automated help service doesn't get what I say. I lost trust in Careem. I try to use any other app, but them. Watch out for your money!

even though its one of the oldest apps ever, they still can't manage it well! i had issues with it about 10 years ago when i downloaded it in a different country and then it refused to change the currency ever again!! now i ordered something and they assigned it to a driver way too far from the shop location it took 1 hour and a half for me to get the order! and when calling customer service they did nothing!

can't even sign up. first two attempts no verification code arrived, then third time, it arrives, prompts me to input my name then says can't log you in. what a horrible experience.. also they sell your location data to third parties Edit: next day support explained what the issue was. But, no workaround "After reviewing your case, I can see that you were unable to create a new account because you may be using a phone number with a country code that mismatches your current location"

One of the captain from this app, Waseem Hafez (L55694) was 2-3 mins away from my place. I thought he's just gonne drop a customer as per the app. But after 15 mins (more or less), he didn't came. Messaged the driver through the app but no reply from the driver. Waited for 2-3 mins more but he didn't came. Cancel the ride and book another one. This has been my problem these past few days. Drivers taking the booking but not coming to pick you up, so you had to to cancel bookings. So inconvenient

Edit: I made it 1 star instead of 2. They are going from bad to worse. They tricked me and made me pay more, and when I called their support, they claimed it was a system error, as such, they could not refund me. So, I submitted a ticket, and the reply was different, and both are not true. They charge you more in rides and food orders, hoping that you won't notice it. This has become common. Luckily, there are many alternative apps like talbat and Jeeny. You lost me completely as a customer.

i had an issue with ordering in their app. i was suppose to be deleting an order, but the app suddenly processed the order. as soon as i cancelled it, they were informing me that they will be issuing a refund. after few days passed, 14 business days, i still did not get a refund. and the worst thing was, they are not responding about it in their helpcare website. such a shame! small or big amount, refunds are still mandatory to be refunded. i will surely stop using this app.

Worst app ever. Booked a cab in Dubai and every single time there was a problem locating the driver. It took almost an hour just to get one cab. Once, after booking, the app showed pickup in 15 minutes, but the cab never arrived. To make it worse, it even marked me as dropped off at the destination when I was never picked up. Completely unreliable.

I left the country and was trying to cancel my subscription, none of the recommended or easily accessible options worked, was just charged another month worth of careem plus, and I'm unable to remove my credit card neither. Waiting for reply from customer support. This really should be 1click action, not extreme inconvenience. :( Edit : customer servicer person responded & calcelled the subscription.

This app is a mess. piece of advice: don't store your credit card info into the app. in Mecca, a driver canceled the ride, and I was charged for it. in other instance, I had money in the wallet inside the app, when I booked a ride, it didn't show the final price after subtracting the 30% off and the money i have in my wallet. I end up giving the driver (who kept quiet) 40 rials for a ride that was supposed to cost 11 rials. This app needs a lot of works. 2 stars because rides are cheaper.

latest update sucks. I used to be able to choose my location through the drop-down menu at the top without enabling location services on my phone. Now I need to turn on my location services every time I open the app and then I can see the drop-down menu that has all my locations. Will keep this as a 1-star review until it's fixed. What a backwards update.

This was a really excellent app and service. Great discounts, amazing selection, fast delivery, great service. WAS. Over the last few months, the app quality has deteriorated to the point where it is simply unusable. Completing any transaction - like ordering groceries - takes 3 or 4 tries, including force-stopping the app. It constantly bugs out or breaks completely, your orders get cancelled, your basket gets randomly emptied, etc. It is a shame - everything else is great, except app.

this is the worst app ever. would give you a 0 star if possible. Multiple times, the driver did not pick us up, and we got charged the full amount still. the drivers are able to start the route and finish it without the client in the car. this is a big scam. I tried to report and claim the activities, but there was no response. stay away from this.
