I always had the Cash App borrow option with at least $500 or more limit. I always paid on time and usually early! Cash App made more interest off of me (for paying back early and retaking out another loan) but I was fine with that because I liked knowing that I had that little bit of financial security in my back pocket. After a couple of years( with no heads up) I was unable to borrow anymore. No reason,no explanation, no one would help me NOTHING. Again never late,so I do not recommend !!!
Reviews for Cash App
Ive been using Cash app for a while and I haven't had many issues besides the fact that support isn't very useful and I constantly need my card locked because no matter how many times I get a new card shipped, someone always gets the number before I get the card. And even if I have the card locked ive had someone purchase something with my money WITH IT LOCKED!! there's a huge chance that your money isn't going to be spent by you if you use this. please look into other apps before cashapp!!
I used to use this app when I was 17 and now I have issues with it..Every time I contact support they can't help me with anything but reset my account. I've put in my social and my ID. I've made so many accounts because the issue can't be resolved. It keeps saying my social is wrong when I've already confirmed my info since the beginning and my ID and still it says that. I've tried my email when they send the code just to copy and paste for it to say it's incorrect. zero stars if I could
Its a very user friendly app. You can load funds at 7 11 from your phone. $1.00 fee. You can buy and sell stock very easily. No confusion. No fees. That I know a out. I have another app I use. The name is bullish. They hit you for fee after fee. The advisor accounts come at a cost of 0.02 % when everyone else charges 0.01%.Cashapp hasn't even tried to charge me for having an account. Its a good place to start. They also have bitcoin now..You also get a debit card. Full access to your $ 24/7.
I was given overdraft coverage of $25 and paid it back every time I used it. I received an email from cashapp stating my overdraft coverage was increased to $100. The next day, I go to my account, and I have no overdraft coverage. I would not recommend using them to get direct deposits. sofi and Chime are way better and can help when you have issues like this arrise. Cashapp was no help, and I didn't try to help either. Like most people I rely on that to cover necessities.
The cash app support is extremely poor, if not horrible. I am not sure if they even read to understand your issues before sending multiple emails that don't fix your problem. The worst is they send you at least over email from different support specialists, and none of them seem to make sense, address, or fix the problem. Even when you respond to those emails, you don't get feedback. I have been experiencing this issue for over 3 months.
Cashapp hasn't responded in over 10 days!! The last 3 days I've reached out everyday for updates for the long wait. They just tell me to keep waiting. After 10 days they banned the customer service and froze my account. I have money in my account and can't even use it!!! and the biggest problem is, no response. no email back. no customer service literally AT ALL. In the app it just says not available
Cash App used to be awesome..now not so much. Any issue that arises u are pretty much on your own to just deal with because their customer support is pretty much non-existent. My account was shut down and told I can't have account thru them ever again. I was never told why. Which really doesn't bother me now but at the time was a big deal because I used it a lot. When it was first created they were so lenient. Now they spring rules without the customer knowing. Thanks but no thanks CashApp.
I really do love the app! My only negative comment is that it's frustrating that my "borrow limit" has been the same for quite some time now!! I pay several bills with my cash app card, constantly use it at the grocery store, pay back what I borrow, and deposit well over $1000 in it monthly (generally anywhere from $1000-$1500)!! Yet...still no borrow limit increase (it has been the same for at least 8 months, if not even longer)!?? Wondering if I need to look into using a different app!
I run the snack fun at my workplace, people contribute based on what they take so I have about 20 small ($1-10) transactions every day, I have verified my account. I'm giving only 1 star because I can't rate it lower, whether you have a verified, unverified, or business account, there is a mystery transaction limit, support doesn't tell you how many transactions it is "for security purposes" and won't tell you when it resets "for security purposes".
