Even thought my closest location DOES deliver, you can't select it from this app. I know they do because when I check GrubHub, I have no issues getting delivery. Tried to do a order for pick up and it won't allow me to enter my payment information to complete the sale. So, this app is essentially useless.

I was using this app just fine until last month. I was charged twice for 1 order that I never received. The store didn't refund me nor give me the order even after showing them the 1 order on the phone. I emailed customer service no response. I checked my banking app I was charged twice. I went to Charley app it also showed two orders. I only made one. I emailed a second time. We went back and forward I provided screenshots and they said someone would reach out. It's been over 2weeks no refund
Not a good app. I purchase from here ofter. I saved the receipts to scan later. It would not let me add 2 receipts from purchases made on 8/11 and one frpm 8/13. Additionally, I made a $21 purchase on 8/19 while their system was down. The receipt was emailed to me but there is no barcode to scan. I have $61 of purchases that I can't rewards for. Very disappointed!!
Great app easy to use. One small tweak is allow me to leave a tip for the great crew that takes care of me. 03/08/2021 The app has not worked for over two weeks. Reinstalled it today but same problem after logging in "Error Logging In Sorry, an error occurred while trying to log you in" Please fix as soon as you can. 06/10/21 The app is still broken!!! Let us know when you can fix it please!!!
Was a great app until they updated it, and no longer allow you to provide your receipt info to get your rewards if you're enrolled. This was a key point for me downloading and installing the app since they have so many chains that don't have a working before scanner... now, if you're in a scenario where you can't get your points at the time of ordering, you have to take a picture and submit it via email. What year is this?
I have been given several gift cards for Charley's. When you order from the app it will only takes one form of payment. If one gift card does not cover it then you cannot use another, or even a debit card for that matter. This is app/profle basics. When you're ready to hire grown ups to fix the app basics and have a section to just add and total gift cards let me know. Otherwise it might be another 2 years before I order a Charley's again.
I'm removing two stars from my review due to the recent app update that no longer allows typing in the receipt number to get rewards credit. Also, placing an online order for pickup through the app doesn't automatically credit your account with rewards. Seriously? I'd possibly get used to scanning the QR code at the register--maybe--but not getting credit for ordering online is a full fail.
You used to be able to scan the barcode on the receipt to get rewards. Then they made it to where you couldn't scan it in the app and had to type it in. Now, if you dont remember to show them the QR code before you order, you lose out on rewards. This also slows down the line and robs anyone who has been using the other methods to claim their rewards.
Unable to place order due to errors. Downloaded and installed app. Created an account using the app. Logged in, try to place order, get the error, "sorry an error occurred when trying to log you in". I'm already logged in, why is it trying to log me in again? Deleted cache and app settings. Relaunched, logged in again. Tried to order, same error.
I redacted my previous 4 star review and changed it to 1 star. As of 2/24 the app updated and I can no longer enter the barcode on the receipt for points. I don't like pulling out my phone and scanning QR codes when ordering food as that holds up the line and I'd rather keep my phone in my pocket. I would always enter the code after eating to get rewards. They need the ability to scan barcodes back to the app!
Doesn't work correctly. Won't let me use my reward points. Keeps getting error msgs when ordering online for pickup. Had to go to the actual store. When I tried to redem my $5, wasn't able to use it. It said I already used it, yet I wasn't able to order unless I paid in full without my rewards. Useless app. Also, I have to enter my password and user name each time. Would be nice if I could just enter it once.
What an embarrassing and stressful situation this app made me go through. I Ordered and paid through the app for an in store pick up and the restaurant didn't get the order, didn't even give a confirmation number and the payment had already gone through. When I was at the restaurant, they asked me to cancel the order and try again, guess what, it didn't let me cancel anything, the option was not there at all. The staff was professional enough. Stressful for both parties, the staff and myself.
Horrible. Unintuitive. I believe it just takes you to the website to order, but I could be wrong. Everything is incredibly small which makes it nearly impossible to read. I also had to type in my location over and over to complete my order. Something the app may be useful for... If you have somebody you dislike you can tell them you will buy their lunch as long as they order on the app. Sit back and watch him go mad. I truly have no desire to ever use this app again. Your mileage may vary.
App used to be good, now there's essentially no point in it beyond ordering ahead, and even that's limited. Points can no longer be added from receipt, and if you try to scan at register, it doesn't work most of the time. Deals have essentially gone extinct in app. All you get now is ads. Used to be you'd get multiple per month but I can't remember the last time I got one. Honestly, probably going to uninstall and go to other restaurants. Charleys is good, but way too expensive with no deals
Don't get me wrong, Charlies is still one of my favorite spots to eat, but recently for the past few months the app for it has increasingly started to lack more and more to the point where it feels useless to use it. The monthly coupons that use to be available just straight up vanished and has been like this for close to 9 months now and now they just made to where the bar code scan on the receipt doesn't give you points and you have to scan it while paying instead of putting in numbers. Fix it
App works well. Fast and uncomplicated menu. I give 2 stars cause, as others have said, the app no longer allows you to scan the receipt to get your points. There's times their scanner doesn't work so you're gypped out of points. And it's faster to just input it while you're waiting for your food. Bring it back, then I think 5 stars is warranted.
The app was great when I first downloaded it. But with one of the latest updates that removed the ability to add your purchases yourself, it quickly declined. It is hit or miss if the QR scans at POS. I've had to email the rewards to have them added, and even then, they don't get added to my account. I've missed out on about $70 worth of purchases to the point where I've stopped frequenting Charley's. I hope they re-add this feature in the future. Otherwise, it's not worth it.
App performs ok. Would be helpful to fix the Inbox messages. When selecting "dismiss" > "ok", the messages remain in the inbox. There is no response. (Android phone) Also, it would be nice to be able to apply the Entertainment book coupon through the app. The coupons (for next year) should be printed w/ a code. Once used by an account, the code could be 'retired', for that account.
The app doesn't accurately reflect what the restaurant has in stock. If you order milkshakes and their machine is down you won't know until after the delivery driver arrives and is informed. At that point it's too late to cancel or get a refund. This makes the app useless unless you're willing to pay for items you'll never actually receive.
