App is simple but straight forward. Haven't had any issues with crashing or sending orders ahead to a location. They offer really good coupons in the app and the reward program is a little bit above several other places. Only reason it is a 4 is because it is a bit unitive to add the coupons or promotions on an order. Also, it would be nice if it was a little bit easier to see multiple locations on a map rather than pressing on one to see where it is.

Every Friday is the Fryday to get a free fries and it loads to the wallet, but I couldn't use it at my local(already 15 miles from home) restaurant. It says the deal is unavailable, quite frustrating. Also, be aware you can only use one deal per order on the app.
Sent my order to a closed store. The app said it was open, charged me for the order. Pulled up to find it's closed and no one was working so I don't get my order or refund. Thanks Rally's. Update your app please. Try 2 went way better. My order took a little longer to prepare than the app said but everything went well as far as the app goes. Somehow after waiting 15 minutes for my order I was given cold food. Neither the burger or chicken sandwich was warm enough to melt the cheese.
So I down loaded the app to save time. It's after the lunch rush, two cars in the drive thru. The app said it would be done in 6 minutes... now I've drove 10 minutes to get here and have had time to type all this and still they haven't bought just 1 small chicken tender combo out to me.... it's not fast... let's hope for fresh. Not impressed. So it was 20 minutes late and I'll be having lunch after I get off work. Won't be back again. Also your personal have no customer service skills.
The app is fine. Generic, no bells or whistles, but it doesn't have to have any of that to do what it needs to do. However, my local Rallys can't seem to grasp the concept of online orders. They forget the drink(s) EVERY SINGLE TIME. And it always feels like a burden to them when you pull up at the 2nd lane window (designated lane for online/mobile orders). Finally, the app should stop quoting times. It quotes 5 minutes, it takes 15. It quotes 7 minutes, it takes 25.
Poorly designed app that does not send info to the stores correctly. I arrived about 15 mins after placing a mobile order and was told my order "STILL" hadn't sent a receipt. When I asked what they meant by "still" since I'd just arrived, it turns out I was the third or fourth person who had this same problem that day, and they had no record in store of my order. No way via the app to cancel my order so I can be on my way and have been waiting 10 more mins for it to come through, still nothing.
Doesn't have the same deals as the restaurants, like 2 for $3/$4/$5, etc. Mind you, these aren't limited time specials, they're deals that are available daily as part of the regular menu. Nor does it offer any coupons, just "rewards", which are stupid- you're not giving me a reward if I had to spend money to get it, and the amount you have to spend to get them has greater value than the reward. There's no incentive to use this app over just going to the restaurant.
The location permission doesn't always populate the nearest restaurant, which can be frustrating. Additionally, if you place your order at the wrong location, and it's after midnight, there is no customer support available to re-route your order to the correct location, which is entirely nonsensical in my view, considering that a lot of Checker's are open until 2am... Some are even open until 6am!
Ordering is relatively easy. There are some inconsistencies.. like sometimes you can adjust the amount of ice, other times you cant... The bigger issue is the time estimator. We ordered and it said it would be ready at 6:15. At 6:18, they hadn't even started the order. So they need to figure a better way of being more accurate. The final time wasnt a little off... it was over DOUBLE...
The least user-friendly of all fast food apps! That said, once you get a hang of it, you can use rewards after you put item in basket (if even available on app menu) But you can't even order a Checker Burger on the app, it is missing. No joke! Plus, a lot of other items and regular specials are missing. Customization of burgers is also limited. (ie, no extra tartar sauce, or pickles/onions on sandwiches that don't normally already have them). They need to copy the app from any other chain!!
Still can't check out with payment method. The screen when it approaches goes blank. And I have cleared out cache and data. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it too. But this can't happen now unfortunately. Not sure if it is a bug but can't do anything about it now. Also the user interface could be a bit better feels slow in response. Can't even place an order online from the website and pay.
Here is a problem! Just recently I started having problems with redeeming my available food rewards. The items that are displayed and haven't expired yet. I had no problem ordering! Now when I order something that is redeemable and not expired. They tell me that I can't redeem that item because it's grayed out on there computer. Even though on my account/app it's there and not expired. I've been using the app for over a year now. An eat there no less than 3 times a week . So whats the deal? 🫤
I tried to use this app to place an order using my credit card. I entered my card details correctly on the Card Details page a dozen times, both by typing it out and using the scan function. however, when I get to the Order Confirmation page, the last 4 digits of the card displayed are incorrect, cutting off the final number entered on the Card Details page. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not fix the issue. this means I can't use my rewards to order, and it's very frustrating.
I like Checkers, especially since they lowered prices. Their app needs work. I got an offer on my app where I can save $3 if I get to a certain level in a game. I was supposed to get to level 11. I downloaded, played, and got to level 16 within 30 minutes on Friday, May 2, 2025. I still haven't received my $3 off. I can't send messages on the app or website because it keeps asking for the address that I provide, but for some reason, Checkers doesn't acknowledge it, so I can't send messages.
how hard is it for a company to have a way that a certain location can let a customer know that they are out of a particular item. or even remove it from the locations order ahead menu. I guess it would be to difficult so they just let you order it. and when you get there to pick up they say oh we don't have that. what would you like instead, I would like what I ordered. then your only option is to cancel the order. but good luck with that as you have to go through a lot to get even that.
Pros: - The app loads quickly and remembers the last store you ordered from - Prices are shown next to the items Cons: - Everything is loaded as one long list - Items are grouped into categories but in order to get the tabs to appear you have to scroll down - There is no consistency in the UI - Buttons are all different shapes and sizes and are easy to tap by mistake - The font is not a good choice at all - Rewards do not show up consistently - You can only change your last name
Not having to wait through the regular line is nice. I wish they processed debit/credit transactions faster. Sometimes, it takes several days, and it's thrown my account off balance. The food is generally good, as is the service, and the speed. Any time there has been an issue, management took care of it promptly and usually gives a little extra.
This app used to be good but since the update it's pretty terrible. First off, you log in with a user name which is an incredibly stupid call by the developers. It's bad enough having to remember a password for every app, nobody is going to remember a user name too. I don't see why you wouldn't just make it a simple email login. The app is also less friendly to navigate now, and the rewards screen just says you get $5 for 400 points when they used to actually have good offers.
New version is total trash. It kept throwing error, and I couldn't even check the reward tap. And when I could finally opened the page, I found all the deals available before the update are gone and only point reward is remaining. Checkers isn't particularly cheap in my town and those advertised deals are not available, and now no deals? Time to uninstall the app.
App just updated to a new version. I placed an order, my credit card was charged and the app said order placed, but when I got the the restaurant they didn't have the order. Turns out my order was submitted as DoorDash, but I wanted pickup. DoorDash cancelled the order. Weird experience. Please verify the pickup/delivery settings, I definitely ordered as pickup.
