NEVER make an account with this company. they are awful. I had 2 bank accounts linked to my app after I got a new bank and I accidentally selected the old bank account once which caused a payment return. they didnt give me the option to fix it, they closed my account which negatively effected my credit score and told me I could just apply for another card and my account was not able to be re-opened.

I paid a bill of almost $300 in may to catch up because I missed some payments. Was told that I didn't owe money for june. All of sudden my account is closed but I still have to pay the card off every month. Can't reinstate my account. Won't refund me my money. But can just take my 300 dollars and close my account behind my back.
DO NOT EVER GET A CREDIT ONE CARD! I paid off this card, cut the card up, called and closed the account, deleted the app, then a couple months later I'm getting calls that I have a balance of over 100 dollars. charging me interest and late fees over a 8.99 fee. I called them. they wouldn't take of any fees or help me in any way! 😡 now I have to pay them more money that I didn't use! that is THEFT
Customer for a couple of years now. I finally utilized the express payment option for an addtion $7.95 which is suppsoed to make your available credit go up right away. I ended up with no available credit and an email stating "please allow 7 days for your available credit to reflect your payment. Also, after 2 years of making on time payments and an increased income; I have never received those promised offers of an increased credit limit. The fees are steep and benefits low.
Terrible card, especially if you're trying to build your credit. It's too hard to setup payments, it can take up to a week for a payment to go through, and if you're living paycheck to paycheck or in a situation where you're trying to build your credit, it's needlessly difficult. Also they borderline harass you, I a text from them saying I had a payment due in two weeks, and started receiving relentless phone calls for a week, so many I started blocking their numbers but they just used new ones
Absolutely awful and predatory. It takes 5 days to verify your bank account, otherwise you need to pay $8 for an "express" payment with a debit card. This means you need to set up your payment info two weeks before the due date. Your balance only reflects posted transactions, so it's always several days behind, to trick you into spending more money. It even tells you that payments have "posted" when they haven't even taken the money yet. I've had dozens of CCS and this is the worst.
Great card. Easy to access gives you a variety of options to pay. Everything is very seamless, it literally takes about a minute and a half to pay, i highly recommend this card, not to mention.They gave me a five hundred dollar limit, and within the first two months, they bumped it up. I will definitely be with these guys for a while. I wish I could have had capital one earlier in my credit journey.
Do not support this company. My card has been blocked for over 6 months with no warning or notifications and because of "verification purposes" and they refuse to verify my documents. so I haven't been able to use my card and close it because my balance will not update despite me paying it off months ago. I'm still getting changed late fees every month even though my card is paid in full because my balance doesn't update. I sent them multiple documents with my correct address, no verification.
Rude customer service! It takes forever for them to give you credit for payments, even when they have taken the money out of your account. You don't see it for 7-10 business days. So whatever is reported on your credit is not accurate. I called to ask and the rude lady cut me off stating this is how Credit One does it. It doesn't make it right and customer service is for me to ask questions when I don't understand something on my account. I will be looking for another card with better service.
I've had this card less than two months. These people might as well be scammers! I will be getting rid of this card as soon as I possibly can. A $75 dollar fee will limit your credit line automatically. If you are trying to make a simple payment from your bank account without the extra fees, plan on waiting over a week before you can access your money. Horrible customer service. Worst credit card I have ever had. There are many more complaints but there is not enough space here.
The mobile app for the Credit One Bank card is great. You can do pretty much do everything u need to from one place. I review transactions and payment history, lock the card etc. I like to make the monthly payment from the app. It's so easy and convenient. Sometimes I just want to check my balance. They have a feature that does that even faster called Quick View. i can't forget to mention the deals. There is a spot where u can find which stores discount purchases if u use this card. Saves $$
I had my account open and I was really enjoying the experience with everything, until I tried to make payments and they weren't withdrawing the money fast enough so it gave me a returned payment and after I got 2 or 3 they closed my account and no I no longer have access to my credit limit after I've paid all the fees already, and now I think it is hurting my credit score. I still rate them 4 out of 5 because it's just how their payment system works, other than that, I think they were decent
they have used 90% of my credit line. I have only been able to use card twice for under 30 dollar purchases. after paying it off, I still have no credit to use their card. their credit scores don't match the current credit score. making it look like they are helping. also they repeatedly added another fee rather then let it get paid off. my last was 27. a few days after payment it was 57. go figure
good service, sometimes payments take longer than I like but you can pay extra for instant payments I think. helped me build up my credit from very poor to excellent along with other cards as well. pay off as much as possible, keep low balance and turn on auto pay. set your auto pay payment a bit above the minimum. if it's 30 make it 50. taking a while to pay it off but I ran it up really high. overall I've had good experience with 2 cards. credit limit keeps increasing too. good cards. thanks
for months I have been paying my cc bill on line. BEWARE!!!! your minimum payment due on the app and website does not include any late fees. I was late with one payment and made the payment the next month. I made the minimum payment the app said was due. this month got a late fee notice and discovered that the minimum due on the app is totally different from the minimum due on my statement. Credit one is a horrible cc company. Paying off all 3 of my cards and cutting them up.
Mandatory 2 step verification is a pain in the a$$. I got the card with this bank to bridge a gap, but it's the first one I'm paying off and probably will close out this account. I do not like the app interface at all. I've been with both Chase and Capital One for years, and they're both more organized and smoother.
The app is not great and neither are any of the credit cards, I am being charged $95 a year as a fee for a card that I hardly use and does not provide much benefits. The products are very disappointing, the only reason I have not canceled is because you have to call them and they make canceling very difficult. When I have time to wait on a phone all day, I will be canceling.
I'm sorry for the low rating, but American Express is a curse, and you'll get embarrassed when you try to purchase something, and the card will get denied, even when money is literally on it, and you get fees quick, so you will barely get usage out of it. I'm trying to pay off those fees ASAP next month, and closing the account down. Honestly, I really don't recommend the card. Users beware.
I've only had this card for 2 weeks. Credit One is not exactly the best to have. 1. They offer me a $2,000 limit only and only approved $400. 2. There is a charge for $75 before I ever received my card. The charge does not appear on my account but my available credit limit is decreased to $300. 3. On my travels I spent only $200 of my credit limit, which is now at $0 available when there I supposed to be $200 still available. There is no way to contact an actual person. All automated/mail
I've used this app for a few years to make payments, as of the past week, the app has been very glitchy. I've been logging in, trying to make a payment and it says no payment due, which isnt true. I load my info to make an express payment and just when I get it all entered, a message pops up saying there is an issue on our end, we're trying to resolve the matter.
