So here's my take on CRIMEWATCH. I've tested a bunch of similar community safety and crime tracking apps, and this one holds up pretty well. The ability to get real-time info straight from law enforcement is a big plus. And i also like how you can anonymously reach out to the agencies if needed. On the downside, the app can feel a little basic and the data is limited to what the participating departments provide. But for a free app, it's a solid option if you wanna stay on top of what's happening in your neighborhood.

Description

Been using CRIMEWATCH for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you track crime data and info from local law enforcement. Pretty solid if you’re into that sort of thing.

Here’s what you can do – you can browse through things like arrests, fugitives, incidents, and other news that gets fed in directly from participating police departments. There’s also an option to anonymously contact agencies if you’ve got a tip or something. Seems like a useful tool for staying on top of what’s happening in your area.

Look, if you’re into true crime or just wanna be more informed about your community, you’ll probably like CRIMEWATCH. It’s not perfect – the data is only as good as what the agencies provide, so if your local cops aren’t on it, you’re out of luck. But overall it does the job and I’d say it’s worth checking out.
