So here's my honest take on DistroKid. I've tested a bunch of music distribution apps and this one's pretty solid. The unlimited uploads and keeping 100% of your earnings are huge perks that make it stand out. The artist profile management is also super convenient. On the downside, the app can feel a little cluttered and overwhelming at first. But once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty seamless way to get your tunes out there. If you're an indie artist, I'd definitely recommend giving DistroKid a try.

Description

Been using DistroKid for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you upload your music to all the major streaming services – Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, and a ton more. Pretty solid if you’re an independent artist trying to get your stuff out there.

Here’s what you do: you can upload unlimited songs, keep 100% of the earnings, and manage all your official artist profiles from one place. There’s also cool features like making promo cards to share on socials and getting notifications when you have money to withdraw. Took me a while to figure some of that out, but it’s all pretty useful.

Look, if you’re a musician looking to get your songs on all the big platforms, you’ll probably like DistroKid. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.
