Update: Minus two stars far lack of cutoff warning. The call literally ended while they were talking about the prescription. The provider was clearly as unaware as I was of the time. I get that there needs to be limits, but some kind of 1 minute countdown would be better than "call ended". There's no way to contact the provider via message to get any info that was cutoff either. I like the idea of the app - the convenience of choosing your doctor and appointment times without calling around various clinics is wonderful. The app could be a little better, like the back button doesn't warn in some cases that it might lose data you've entered... Also, I had the app hang when it came back from the background. Still, it does what I need.

Very difficult to use. Not reliable. When I first tried to make an appt it didn't give me the correct copayment info. After I talked to my insurance and they got a hold of DonD, the copay was straightened out. I still couldn't make my appt. There were few therapists. Only 1 offered the modality I wanted. I went thru the scheduling process got to the end and it wouldn't let me book the appt saying she wasn't qualified. I had left a question 3 weeks ago and have received no response.

The service is TERRIBLE. They will charge you a week in advance for an appointment. If you don't pay in advance, they cancel the appointment without warning. The system cuts you off mid sentence when your appointment is over. They don't know how to schedule different types of appointments where the initial appointment needs to be longer than the follow-up. You end up in the "waiting room" staring at your phone waiting for the doctor, sometimes for minutes - kinda the norm I suppose.

When I first started using DoD, it worked but the interface was horrible. It was hard to navigate and glitched. Then they updated it, it got prettier but still had technical issues. Now it's been changed again and it's even worse. Contacting someone about the issues has resulted in no response for over 2 weeks, I've had several appointments canceled and it is still hard to navigate. I wish my counselor used another platform.

Nothing but headaches. Canceled appointments, insurance snafus, weird requests from the doctor, bad/non-working messaging system. Plus, if your appointment goes over 15 minutes (even if it's the fault of the provider), they just shut off your appointment. Leaving you to just wonder if there was something more they needed or if you're getting your medications. Or you can pay another fee to make another appointment to check everything is good. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

As far as convenience, and access to health-care that otherwise may not have been possible, it's great. The 1 star are because there are issues with the app that don't seem to be getting resolved on the therapy side of the app; such as never connecting you with a provider, issues with making an appt and their response time is lacking if they respond at all. From the healthcare side, it's been amazing; from the psychology side, it's really lacking. Lately, I can't even submit a ticket to support.

I used to love this app until the recent update. All of my information is lost, including lab orders that were sent at my last appointment. It's time to get labs done for new prescriptions and nothing is there anymore. I've spent all week trying to reach support. I've sent many messages and spent over 30 minutes on the phone. Even they were stumped, but claimed they expedited the issue and assured me someone would get back to me asap. That was more than 48 hours ago. The app is now garbage.

I have un-installed, reinstalled, tried adding a different form of payment. Tried a different appointment date. It has kicked me out. The message page has kicked me out. It has said internal server error. I have had issues with my previous two visits not allowing me to log in to the appointments, but you sure had no problem charging me $90 each time even though the error was not mine. Now I can't even get an appointment, and even if I can, will I miss that one too because I keep getting booted?

The app frequently needs to be re-downloaded. Customer service is difficult to use. Most of the 'therapists' are social workers and very few have evening availability. One was more into talking about herself, another told me I wasn't worth diagnosing if I won't take medicine, another was too busy typing her notes to have an honest conversation, and yet another was downright rude. If it wasnt the ONLY free option through my insurance, I'd have deleted this LONG ago.

DO NOT RECCOMEND: double charged insurance for a 7 minute appointment, and every time I speak with someone and have it "resolved," the issue pops back up in 2-4 weeks. Reading the reviews, I'm not the only one having these issues. Update: I contacted the email as requested. Confirmed that no money is owed. I still get emails and letters every few weeks.
