Reviews for Duolingo

Would love to see tattoos & makeup in separate categories, so Sims can have both. Also would love it if Sims could have multiple tattoos, and there was a bigger selection to choose from. Overall, this game is very fun and I enjoy it. But it can be hard to progress if you don't have the time (or money) to devote to it. If you're hopping on once a day, you're not going to get anywhere fast; You may be able to if you spend money- but who wants to spend their hard earned money on a game lol

Fun way to learn a language! The village building aspect adds an extra layer of enjoyment. Only complaint is sometimes the sentences are a bit weird and not practical.

Love the new path format! The competitive leagues keep me motivated, and building my village while learning Spanish is super fun. Been using it daily for 456 days straight!

Recent update is a bit confusing. Miss the old tree format where I could jump around topics. The new linear path feels too restrictive, though the lessons themselves are still good.

Great for casual learning! The hearts system can be annoying when you're trying to practice, but I really enjoy the new features and animations. The little celebrations when you get things right are so motivating.

Best language learning app out there! The mix of gamification and actual learning is perfect. My kids love it too - we're all learning French together.

Super addictive in a good way. Love competing in the diamond league and the new path makes it easier to stay focused. The stories feature is amazing for learning context.

Perfect for learning on the go. I've learned more Japanese in 3 months with Duolingo than I did in a year of classes. The voice recognition works surprisingly well too.

Too many ads unless you pay for Plus. They've made it really aggressive with the notifications and pop-ups trying to get you to subscribe.

Great app but the hearts system is frustrating. I appreciate that they added the practice hub where you can earn hearts back.

It's okay for basics but needs more advanced content. The village feature is cute but feels like it takes focus away from actual learning sometimes.
