I've been using it for five minutes and it already works pretty great, which is an absurdly quick time for an app to wow me. I opened the app and it asked me only one relevant question to get started. It's a no-nonsense ebook reader and it's free (for now?). Even if it did cost money I wouldn't care as long as it stays this simple.

It's a great app for reading. though it would be nice if the scroll option was closer to an endless scroll instead of the at times stuttering scroll that it currently is. that would probably be my only complaint. It'd be nice to have the library and the shelves be a bit more separate, but that's probably just me being nit-picky. Also I'd be cool if there was a tagging feature.

Comparable to Amazon Kindle, this is by far my favorite reader for independent epubs downloaded from the Internet. I have it on my tablet and my phone and use it all the time. The sync feature allows me to share books, reading position, and notes on both devices. Kudos and highly recommended! Since this review, I've made it my e-reader of choice, even using it for PDFs. Keep up the great work! 👍🏻

Best app ever. I have been looking for an app that makes me put in a epub format story. I could read easily without straining my eyes. I was never comfortable with others app, it made me drop the story fast and it seriously sucked but THIS! i downloaded it two days back and I have made lots of process without making my eyes hurt!!! :) Edit: it would be six stars if it has more colours to highlight.. that's my only complaint

I can read books off my sd card. Nice supported format selection. Simple, functional. I figured out colored content' s purpose long before I figured out how to turn it off in settings. An app preview pic would help. No ads & free - maybe I should be concerned that I'm the product, but best feature. So far so good. I wish I'd come across this app sooner. I created a new shelf 1st thing. 4 presets sufficient, but any colors I fancy would be nice.

I've been using this app to read ebooks for several years now and have never had an issue until now. The formatting options are great and the interface is simple to use. However, recently I've been unable to open new EPUBs in the app without the files appearing to be corrupted. Opening the same files in another app shows that the issue isn't the file, but rather this app. I hope that this problem is resolved soon, as I really enjoy this app and would love to continue using it!

eBoox is the best no frills, aesthetically pleasing, and functional ebook reader out there (trust me I've tried them all). I've been a fan for a while and I love that I'm able to sync my ebooks and reading progresses across platforms now. I'm really keen for that to become better (maybe automatic, or faster). I also love how books with no covers are automatically generated ones now!! Really nice touch ❤️ I would donate if I could.

Been using this app for over a year now an di love it. Only thing is that I've been logged out a couple times and everything I've had and all the folders got lost even though I'd done the sync option available, it hasn't worked for me. But everything else I love. All the customization available is awesome, I'm always changing it and have never come across a setting I couldn't create.

This app is great. I'm not an avid reader, somewhat new to regular reading, but this app helps so much. I can highlight, bookmark, and share books with anyone interested. The advanced setting are very nice, I can change the size of the font, the font itself, the background of the pages, how the pages turn, it's incredible. Definitely a top notch reading app.

Mixed. I quite liked it and then someone sent me a zip file with photos in it, and for some reason it opened in Eboox reader. After that the reader would not work. It only displayed the photo, and I was unable to do anything else with it. I could not get any of the controls, whatever I did. Even restarting the phone, didn't help, it just went back to the photo, as soon as it opened, and no other books were accessible. Eventually I had to uninstall it, remove the zip file and reinstall.

This app does what you want it to do, it is easy to navigate and has pretty much all the functionality you could want. The minor issues are ones you will find with any ereader, like font size changing where you are in the text. My only wish would be the ability to add a short note that displays in the list of installed books, though i have been able to get around that by editing the "author". Thanks for the great app, ive gotten a lot of use out of it :)

Love this app, It doesn't seem to have a limit on how many books you can have on your shelf. It provides a lot of setting options on color of the pages, highlighters and brightness. It also lets you change the font and how the words hyphen. I didn't give it 5 stars because it doesn't provide the option to flip the pages like a book. It also doesn't let you zoom out to see the reel of pages, which I'd like so that I can find my highlighted text better and other info pieces. Still an amazing app.

A decent epub reader, but not great. This is one of the fastest readers that I've tried. There appears to be no way to use the volume buttons to change pages. The controls for adjusting text size are a little wonky. Works well in split screen mode. Requires too many taps to visit the table of contents or to change color mode (night, day, etc)

So far, I'm really liking the app! The dark mode is nice, and the free syncing option is a huge plus, not to mention being able to download your own fonts! I only have one complaint, and it might just be my epubs, but the spacing between certain words is huge and there's no option to fix it. In other apps, align left seems to do it... But I can't find a similar setting on this app. Regardless, I'm still looking forward to using this app more. I love the colored progress bar.

Love the app! Been using it for a few months and it does everything I need it to. You can change the fonts, text size, light and dark mode, and even paragraph spacing. I would definitely recommend. My only complaint is that it doesn't tell you what page you're on, and when I go to click on chapters it doesn't go to the chapter, but that one hasn't been to huge of an issue. I'm mostly annoyed about it not showing the page number. Over all great app though.

This is an incredible app – and arguably the best of its kind – if you're looking for a solid eReader that accommodates for all sorts of formats. It's got a clean user interface, customization options for your books, and essentially acts as a personal cloud library—all for free. This is one of the very few apps I think I've ever encountered since smartphones and apps were introduced that actually makes me feel bad for using it without having to pay a premium. Huge thanks and kudos to the devs.

Amazing for my purposes!! I wanted an app that would translate my required school PDFs into a cozy couch reading format, and wow does it! The night mode and bookmarks are pretty standard, but you'd be shocked how many apps only let you have one bookmark per text. Phenomenal feel. Admittedly I have not seen any ads, possibly due to my connection, so consider that possibility.

I had hopes, but I guess I will try another time. I didn't feel that the UI was set up in the most intuitive manner, but perhaps that is just me. I have tried numerous ereaders, and have several downloaded, but still haven't found THE ONE. Thanks for your work to give an ad free app. Btw, I have enjoyed your little responses to those with complaints. I guess it is a sign of the times that people get upset about the app not reading certain formats when you are very clear what formats it supports.

Works well. For PDF's I can see the open book like in reality and then zoom in in landscape mode to read. I just figured out how to add fonts for the other files so that is cool. I like all the settings for the text. If I delete a file from the library, does it delete it from my phone (I hope not)?

I love this app, have had it for 3.5 years now, had to come back and get it.However recently,I've come across a small issue. The most recent update took away a feature i think. When im downloading i can only download one at a time. In the past i could download one and keep downloading, but now it just exits. Could you perhaps fix this? If possible of course. Still 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Edit: Come across and issue. When I try to download a book. The entire app closes.
