One of the best Bible commentaries I've ever come across. It enlightens parts of scripture that I don't understand and breaks them down. The sense of using parabolic teachings highlights the fact that all teachings in the Bible are not carnal knowledge but spiritual instead. I love this app and I would recommend it to every single person that sometimes struggles to decipher the Word of God

This app is truly amazing! A complete commentary on the entire Bible, it is filled with quotes and teaching from multiple well known and respected commentators, as well as links to so many more resources. I've used it for several years in my Bible studies and it keeps getting better and better. You will love it! Thank you, Enduring Word, for offering all this for this free.

Loving the app, but would love it if you could add the feature where when we open the app again, it takes us back to where we stopped reading. It's kind of time consuming to scroll through the whole chapter. Another feature would be to highlight or separately bookmark certain verses. I do know you have the bookmark option for the chapter. But I would suggest to add these two features as they will help better. The app is definitely informative and helpful and easy to understand. G-d bless.

I've been using the website for a few months now and it has helped me to truly understand the bible and the meaning behind the scripture! Now seeing an app I'm so excited!!! I wish we could highlight stuff instead of just bookmarking it but that I can manage without. This is the only commentary I've found that doesn't make things more confusing or over do scripture. I love it!!!

I like that it gives you knowledge of the word in context by taking out the gems we tend to miss while studying on our own

It's a reliable and effective app for reading God's Word, always find myself spending more time than I realise in it - only criticism (and someone mentioned this before) is either writing the full name of the authors who is quoted or having a link to find out more about them. Otherwise amazing app, keep doing what you're doing for the Kingdom!

The app is superb. My experience for about six months is wonderful and exciting. It has become my number one reference and study Bible commentary aid in my android device. I loved it. I have told my friends about it. May God bless the enduring Word commentary partners. I have two suggestions: it will better to have a functionality whereby one can get to specific verse number. Secondly, there should be offline pop up bible reference window in the app.

I have been following Guzik's Enduring Word commentary for at least 10 years by now - it's simply among the best online Bible commentary out there. I was very excited to hear that it has been turned into an app, but only for the iOS for a while. Now that it's now out on Android I couldn't be happier! If I may suggest features that would greatly improve the app further would be offline reading mode and the pop-up Blue Letter Bible scripture reference just like on the website. God bless!

Great, useful & reliable commentary. After a couple of updates, the features have noticeably improved, giving an easier and more convenient user experience. The offline mode where one can download the whole commentary is great, too! Overall, this app can help pastors, ministers, preachers, Bible students, and every believer to dig deeper into God's Word, giving the proper context behind the Scriptures and providing insights that make the Word of God more understandable.

it was a great app till now, its showing errors when I download the offline dictionary like this "Unexpected error reading Chapter: TypeError: Network request failed"

I like the old one better the app keeps freezing on me please fix this I like this commentary very much I am surprised that the admin messaged me back that was nice (2023) 2025 Update is good been using this app for a long time David Guzik does a good job I especially love getting commentary from different reformed theologians and Pastors as well. Sold app and a good way to strengthen your faith and relationship with Jesus Christ our LORD (2025)

Loooove this app! It's not the only commentary I use, but I do use this one the most simply because of how detailed it is and how it incorporates quotes from other authors as well. I'd really like to see a highlight feature be added though, and a separate tab to keep track of all the passages/ verses we've marked off/ highlighted. Other than that, my heart is so grateful for this wonderful app. ❤️✨

If you want to get to know the Bible more into detail I recommend this app. After every chapter I read, I later give a read on the same chapter on Enduring Word to help me gain more insight and meaning. By far, the best I've read. And it's free.

I love this app! but with the latest update I find the top section with the Chapters a little too big, it's an eyesore. Can you please get it back to the way it was because even if I reduce the font it's still too big!! Thank you, great work!

Overall the app is wonderful. I had been using the web version of the commentary for a few years, but it is much easier to quickly go straight to it rather than opening my web browser with all the other distractions that are there (the other tabs I have open). One feature I would find very useful is the ability to share the URL to the web version of whichever chapter I am viewing so I can more easily share it with friends/family.

amazing commentary. I've been using the website version for days to help me study the Bible and it's helped me tremendously. I decided to download the app version as well so i can study the Bible anywhere and everywhere. I had an issue yesterday and the customer service team was really sweet and fast to respond.

I have been using webpage one for the past three years. Now I'm using this app since it was released. It's almost like word by word commentary.

This app is fantastic! I love how the commentary expands on the Word to give a better understanding. I share this app with everyone I know who wants a more in depth understanding of what God has to say to us.

was looking forward to finding more context on certain verses but found the writer was imposing their own personal biases as fact. was looking for further info on genesis 19:4-9 and found a note from the author saying "Statistics often demonstrate that on average, male homosexuals have significantly more partners, are more promiscuous, and practice sex in public more often than heterosexuals." he provides no source for his statistics and goes on to continue ranting with no nuance. disappointed.
