Great app, nice trainings, but still lacking in some areas. Personalisation is one of the things to improve. Other apps offer trainings that adjust to current goals/weight, there is bigger control over what should be a focus of given workout, whether cardio should be added or not. Second point is the price. I can get apps for fraction of the price. Annual subscription of other apps costs same amount as one month of this app. It is definitely overpriced.
Reviews for Fitness App: Gym Workout Plan
← Back to Fitness App: Gym Workout PlanVery good application. Perfect category of each muscle and the workouts for them. The only sad thing is that it doesn't count calories unless you're an upgraded user ( which is impossible for me to pay and upgrade because of payment system of the country that I'm living in). So I have to guess the calories I burn during my workout and it's not so accurate. But in general the app is pretty good!👏👍🏼 I like it!
I am very satisfied with all the features and the interface of this app. It covers all my needs. Very well thought, thank you! I would only recommend one thing: It would be great if the users could adjust pre-made workouts. For example, due to some issues I would like to remove a few exercises from the plan, or add extra exercise from available ones. I am still able to continue without doing some of them but when it comes to extras, I can't keep track what I had done extra.
This is the 1st app I paid to subscribe ever in my life. I downloaded several work-out apps and this is the best for gym work out. Highly recommend! I was new to gym work out, didn't know what to do, how to use machines or how to set up the routine. This app helped me big time to get into gym work out. Very informative and even fun! This is my day 15. Very satisfied. Except loading takes too long time. Please fix the app speed. And it would be nice if there's more various stretching.
I really enjoy this app, as it provides a very detailed and convenient workout guides, which is really great! Couple of things that may be improved: 1. When in workout, switching to other apps, and open FitnessOnline again, exercises are grayed out and spinner under the header indicates that app is getting something from the internet before re-enabling. 2. Sync with Google Fit brings in 8 min of treadmill only as a walk, but not the rest of the workout exercises that pertain gym equipment.
I put full effort into my workout and exceeded the expected reps and weights. The only difference was doing 3 minutes less cardio and skipping a 20-second stretch. Yet I got a message saying, “Yes a lot has been done but still you don't want to give all the best. What a pity right?” This tone is completely unacceptable, especially since I pay for this app. It’s disrespectful and demotivating. This has happened before and it needs to stop. Please fix it!
Great app and fitness tracker. I use it for working out at home and the workout routines have been excellent and they challenge you more over time. In the past I had struggled at times to know what workout to do each day but this helps take away that stress. The only issue I have is being unable to sync it with Google health connect. I see no options for it under data sharing
For the subscription app (which is not completely free), the tutorial and plan is good enough. But the fitur could be improved, especially for the timeline part. It shows notifications but where should we check it? We couldn't even see/check our pass post, need to scroll down til 2025 is finished. For the plan, I also hope that there will be more choices like for example, it says only for the perfect booty plan but for those beginners who don't wanna grow thighs and calves, it's a problem!
I've been using this app for 18 months, and it's honestly the best in the market. I began my fitness journey in September 2023, and without this app, I would've quit early. The workout tracking and history features keep me motivated, and the user-friendly interface is very smart. My only suggestions: include more gym/machine-based exercises and reduce home-style ones as it is useless. Also, the yearly subscription offers aren't attractive enough—this needs improvement.
I've been using this app for a few weeks and so far I'm loving it. I like that I can build various workouts and track my progress. The instructions are clear and there's a lot to choose from. I haven't looked at the diet/nutrition areas, so my rating is solely for the workout section
it doesn't let me use a music app while using this app. every time the rest alarm goes off it shut off my music completely. if I turn off the alarm, it still shuts it off when the timer ends. also, if I'm in the app too long (less than a minute) it shuts off my music. if it's something that can't be fixed, I'd like a refund.
After using this app for a few months, I can confidently say it's the best fitness app I've tried. I really appreciate the level of customization it offers—even without a subscription - you can tailor your workouts to fit your goals. The detailed instructions for each exercise were especially helpful as a beginner, making it easy to learn proper form and technique. I’d love to see the exercise library expand even more, and I’m excited to see how the app continues to grow with future updates.
I didn't fully use this app but I did appreciate the ability to use this app without having to create an account. I could skip most questions and go directly to making an exercise plan, so for that it's a 5 star app already. however I had to lower it to 4 stars as the app does NOT have the feature to add in an exercise that isn't already in their database. fix that and I can come back and use it to get this to a 5 star app.
As for now, everything looks promising. There are some parts that can be adjusted. i.e. for home workouts would be great to have the ability to checkmark things like dumbbells or jumping rope that you possess. and to be able to pick, which weights of dumbbells you have. So that program will use that data for training.
Wouldn't recommend this app at all. I downloaded a workout and started. After 4 days of workout, it said, "Now I need a subscription to continue. When I was starting the workout, there was no way to figure this out, and now, after 4 days, it gives me this stupid surprise. Don't be shocked if you pay and half way into the workout, they ask you to pay more to continue
I am using the free version and created my own workout which was very time consuming considering you need to enter sets, weight amount, etc. for each individual exercise. Unfortunately, when I begin to workout, it's very counterproductive! I have to stop and enter the reps that I did, the weight used, and why when I said what I wanted to do beforehand? The exercises do not manually go to the next one. It's just odd.
Been using this for like a year and some months now. It has workouts that works and suggestions that you can alter between. My main issue with the app is the suggestion or alternate exercises. Some of them may not be something that you're interested in doing or your gym/ home gym may not have available. When cycling through alternate exercises I just wish there was more than 5 so I can do a workout that I actually can do or enjoy doing.
This app is great. I've been using it for almost 2 years. It shows you EXACTLY how to do a workout and gives you other variations to pick from. The app WILL insult you at the end of the workout if it thinks you didn't give it your all 🤣. I'm doing advance workouts to challenge myself,so I cannot do a lot of the heavy lifting yet that the app thinks I can do. So I do get insulted at times and other times I get praised. I love this app.
This app is VERY misleading. It says it's free. However, after 3 workouts in any given category, you are forced to subscribe in order to move on to the next workout in the series. So much for a FREE workout app. With that being said, the workouts are very effective, and I love the app. I am just not prepared nor in a position to be able to subscribe..... I guess I am going to have to continue to search for a truly FREE workout app.
There's not too many exercise choices without equipment. The great majority of what's listed is different kinds of planks, squats, push ups, and jumping/clapping. That might be enough for some people, but im looking for stuff that I don't normally think of off the top of my head. I'm trying to find stuff i can do to stay healthy without straining my chronic pain. Once I picked through all the choices that might work for me I was left with only 12 exercises. Other apps had more ideas than this.
