This app is the best. I tried many. That's why I wanted to support the developer. It can track everything you want including your body measure and how much you lift. It's full of data and analytics for data scientist like me! You will know exactly the progress that you are making with your lifts. This mean no stumbling around in the gym for years without progressing fast! And if all the features are not enough, just talk to the developer about what you want and he will discuss with you!

I only purchased pro version to support its creator, not that I needed extra features. But there's one thing I'd love to see in this app: when you want to share your workout and copy it to clipboard or pick other option, it'd be very nice if sets of the same weight of the same exercise would be grouped together, e.g. 50kg x 8reps x 4sets, instead of same 4 lines repeated four times.
Great app. I pre program in all routines so i don't have to rewrite everything every week. Would be great, when adding the routine, if you could add a comment next to the sets. Also the addition of drop sets would be good, similar to how there is the option of supersets. Also would be great if you could add photos in the progression tracker.
Spectacular! Everything I could want and more!! This is the best app I've found for logging workouts!!! Does everything I have been looking for in a workout logger, plus tonnes of statistics that I never even thought about. I would absolutely recommend this app for anyone who wants to track their progress. It is 100% configurable to your individual program/routine and stores valuable information about your previous workouts to help make decisions for future workouts. I tried lots of workout log apps before finding this one. I have been using this app since 2015.
Great app! Easy to use, not cluttered, straight to the point. I was looking for something that wasn't a monthly subscription, so happy I found this. I gladly paid the price for the full version. Only suggestion I have so far is to save the calendar filters that you select. I don't want to have to select all muscle groups every time I open the calendar to see what muscle groups I worked during the month.
Simple app in the best possible way. Can add excercises, change the names, change/set the increments, set automatic rest times, time your workout, easy to see history and PBs and a few more things I'm missing off the top of my head. The app doesn't try to reinvent the wheel or overcomplicate the process and that's exactly why I like it so much, you get exactly as you expect/need and nothing more or less than that. My only 2(?) gripes is the inability to declare a set as a supaset/dropset.
This seriously is just a great app. I use it nearly daily for my training and it helps me keeping on track and gives great insights in the exercises. Only the navigation is sometimes a bit unintuitive in my opinion, but you quickly get the hang of it. Plus, there are no adds, even in the free version, and that's why I decided to support this developer as I know what effort goes in creating such an app. I don't need the additional features at all, but they deserve it.
FitNotes provides a simple and intuitive way to track your progress at the gym. It does not have ads, it does not have in app purchases. This is an extreme rarity for apps nowadays and I could not be happier with the result. Being able to track my progress easily and clearly has helped me to achieve the results I desired. Thanks to the dev.
Amazing app. My wish list: 1) Ability to tag an exercise as "Bodyweight minus assisted weight". 2) Ability to mark an exercise with a difficulty level of 1 to 5. 3) Allow decimal place in reps. This way, I can say 7.5 reps to indicate that the last one went to failure 4) Make the app more "planning friendly". Allow me to create a workout at a later date with all the sets at 0, so I can use the app to plan my workout for the next day.
I've been using FitNotes for about 5 years now. It's just perfect. It's simple and the timer starts automatically as soon as I mark that the set is done. Adding exercises and making new workouts is so easy that it takes me only 5 minutes to build a workout from scratch. Then, when it's done, I can copy it over and over every workday. I hope they do a simplified version for watches. That would be great.
I've used this app for close to a decade. All killer, no filler. Does what you need with no useless junk piled on. It's fast and easy to use. You can design workouts, add new exercises, plan supersets, and a ton of graphs and charts if that's your thing. It takes effort to keep things simple, and the developer clearly takes that seriously. Highly recommended
The app is free but, I had no problem paying for the $5 supporter option because the app is amazing, ad-free, doesn't have a paywall/subscription, doesn't require an account/datamining, and has one of the best and most simplistic privacy policies that I have ever seen. I will always financially support a developer that puts out a quality product. I'm looking forward to future updates to this app and, I really hope there are other products from this developer in the future. Thanks again!
Great and simple method for tracking my workouts. I've only been using it for several months but am glad to find a way to support the developer. Hands down the best tracker that I have tried so far due to its straight forward logging capability. I can quickly copy and make light edits at the end of each session and move on with my day. Thank you!
Wonderfully versatile and powerful workout app. The only thing I would add is a more specific muscles-worked tagging option, so that can associate exercises with particular muscles (say, the front deltoids as well as the lats) rather than having to pick either "Back" or "Chest". But everything is customizable - you can add categories, exercises, notes describing the exercises, etc. And a great UI too
I love the free version + recommend to everyone I can. I thought I donated in the past, but wanted to show my support for such a quality app. It's been my workout companion for several years now, definitely more than 4 years (+ a phone upgrade) ago. This app allowed me to backup + start up right where I left off when I got a new phone. The estimated 1RM + %1RM set calulators keeps me safe + strategic in the gym. I love arriving to gym with a Battle plan. Plate calculator is a huge time saver!
I don't usually buy apps. First time leaving a review. Used the free app for a couple years and the have loved what the developer has made. Easy to use. Organized. Great calculators and graphs showing progression. Bought the app to support what they are doing with this app. Recommendations: dark mode, a log-in so you have a transferable account across devices, and a way to compare periodized progression so you can see how you respond to one 6-8 week mesocycle to another.
Absolutely love this app! It allows for easy tracking of progress, fully customizable workouts, and adding additional exercises. I used the free version for over a year and finally decided to support them, I should've done it earlier. My only recommendation would be a "notes" section for each exercise to describe the movement for exercises that tough don't use often and also tip make a note such as "not enough weight use more next time." Overall great app though!
I went through like six apps until I settled on this one. The majority seem to require a subscription for one essential feature or another. I would gladly pay a flat fee!! But just tracking some notes is NOT worth the money for a subscription for the years and years that I would need it. Total nonsense. Thank god for the flat fee on this one, and there's still a lot you can do without paying. I don't need a guide on how to do exercises. That's what youtube is for. This app is all I need.
I can't say enough good things about this app. I switched over to it a few months ago from JeFit and the more I use it the better it gets. It tracks everything you could possibly need it to and then some. It will tell you how many and which plates you need. It will help you calculate out your warm up sets. You can analyze everything in app and export it all to excel. Did I mention it's also just ridiculously easy to use? It's never crashed or lost my data. Truly well designed.
I've only been using this app for 2 weeks, and I know this purchase is going to be well worth it. Even if not for the extra stuff, just to fund the man who gave us the free version, too. It is such an excellent tracker app with a variety of graphs to help you visualize your progress and journey. Incredibly easy to use. I'll be recommending this app to my friends. Upon purchasing the supporter version, my original app still had all the data but got the unlocks. There was no data loss upgrading.
