This is great. Only downside is that it will overdraft your account as it does not keep up with the changes in the pay weeks. For July ,payday is the 5th but flex only knows that rent is due on the 1st so huge overdraft from my account and the bank allowed it. So 4 days of fees I'll have to pay . Other than that it really is very convenient. (edit) the property where I live stop accepting this service and has now decided to use it again. I keep downloading it and it doesn't work at all.

I've actually used Flex for a few years with no problem until I had to cancel cuz we no longer live in the unit. I also needed to change my phone number but that also proved to be a nightmare cuz I cant get into my app account. Even after asking the chat agent if I could do the further verification process to update my account I got a link to a blank page that read 'error 404'. They keep referring me to a chat agent that has been telling me for 4 days he will get back to me soon. Still no help.

The app and the service it provides are very useful. However, I feel strongly that the entire experience could be greatly improved with a call line for immediate support when issues occur. Relying on an AI chatbot and then emailing back and forth does not allow for rapid solutions to issues and can discourage individuals from reaching out until it's too late.

Very nice app to use. I love that it gives you the flexibility to pay your rent in two payments it takes the burden off of me being a single mom. The only issue i have had is adding funds to my account before the rent is due. I keep getting an error code stating that "we're having an issue processing your card. Try again later." But then when I try again it states "slow down. Wait 10 seconds before trying card again." And then the cycle keeps repeating itself. But no other issues than that!

I've been using Flex for several months now and besides a few little hiccups, has been pretty fantastic overall. but today I tried checking everything, my apartment already posted the rent, but Flex wouldn't load up. Uninstalled and when reinstalled it says my rent is zero, and its so slow in loading. taking upwards of 3 minutes to pull up the main menu Hope they fix this soon, as it is a life saver when it works

Works Great Until it Doesn't. We loved this app until my card expired and I had to update it in app. Flex no longer was able to charge any card added, not my new one nor an alternate card. Since the only support option is AI I wasn't able to get proper assistance and was unable to pay my rent using Flex. I no longer feel safe with the app since my housing hangs in the balance. Do not use this app.

Flex absolutely sucks. it's not user friendly, they don't inform you of any changes. they will cause late fees, and on top of all of that, they will charge you 15.00 a month. please don't believe the hype. Now, I have to figure out my next steps quickly. They have been our too long to not fix the many issue they hide. it's like every time I use this app, it's absolutely trash it's always something wrong, and it ends up hurting me financially.

Frustrated After a Great Start I’ve used the Flex app twice before and had no issues—everything went through smoothly, and my rent was paid on time. I thought it was a reliable service and really liked the convenience. But this month was a completely different experience. I paid my rent a full week in advance, it was returned saying it was due to non-sufficient funds and I got hit with a $50 fee and I also can no longer log into the app either. it keeps telling me something went wrong!

I've been using the app for a few years and before the end of July, I put funds into my flex wallet to make my first rent payment. I checked my email today (August 1st) and saw an email from flex saying my payment had not been made, when I logged in the money that was in my flex wallet was gone and the account was unlinked. I have submitted 2 tickets and have gotten no response. Honestly it would be better to have phone support instead of just chat.

I was glad I could split my rent. Flex was suppose to pull money out of my account on the 1st. they did it on Sept 30th. The ammout that I was showed was also different from what they charged on my account. I will only use this option in the future for an emergency. This company needs to be exact and clear with the actual ammout they are withdrawing from your account , because the ammout they pulled from mine was over $100.00 more than what it showed on the app.

I've been using this service for a few months and have not been able to verify the flex account within my rent portal. I was able to use the debit card option to pay instead, and all of a sudden this month it is no longer an option in the app. The chatbot was not helpful in resolving this. My rent is late as a result and overall I'm just very frustrated with my experience with something that was so helpful for a bit. Would not recommend.

App can't be trusted. Makes it hard to update changes in payment schedule. Tried to change 2nd date. It gave ability to change a date but doesn't specify which payment date is being changed. Long story short after just making my payment for the month, I turned off auto-pay. It instantly refunded my rent. Which I did not ask for. I was already skeptical about using this app. They keep changing it and making it worse for their customer.

At first I thought it was a great idea. I used their bank account that never got verified and rent was late and i was penalized so i used their card to pay rent and it worked. since then the card option wasn't there 3 times including today. so now I have to explain yet again why this BS app failed again. Don't use this app it's total garbage that you have to pay more $in fees for a service that fails again and again. FLEX IS GARBAGE!!!

man oh man, how is it they'll approve you for a credit line, but when you choose to set it for 2nd payment, they'll still try to charge your card on file. received email from customer service and was not helped at all with the credit line. I will be deleting this and removing my info.... this is fraudulent on flex's part. cause again how is there a credit line and you CAN'T USE IT! Edit: now Johnathan the rep is saying flex financed my first payment, not true. I paid with my money!

It's ok it did come through when I needed it but I had no idea I was going to be paying $26.42 instead of the $14.99 membership fee yes they did charge me $14.99 but the rest in processing fees which they don't tell you upfront or unless I miss it somewhere I mean they don't even give you a option to have the money pulled for your checking account only credit cards or debit cards so they can get them extra fees from you, I definitely won't be using this until I really need to ijs lol

EDIT: I've been using Flex for maybe 2 years now. Makes budgeting easier and I've seen a large jump in my credit report. I honestly like them and they're responsive if you have IT issues which are very rare. Original post: Not off to a great start. I started the process previously and now can't figure out how to use this nonuser friendly app. There is no visible login spot and it continuously tells me my email is used for another account. Can't figure out how to login from any browser or app.

I have loved our experience with Flex! It's incredibly handy to be able to split rent into two payments a month. Considering how much financial leeway this gives us in the beginning of the month, we figure the $15 monthly fee is worth it. Plus, their flexibility for your second repayment date is fantastic — you can even reschedule it for later in the month if the usual date doesn't mesh with your payday schedule. Highly recommend!

Update: My rent was not paid on time! It caused a late fee. Flex refused to resolve the issue. The service is good until you move. Then it's extremely frustrating getting your information straightened out. I have re-linked my new address several times. I wish there was a physical person I could talk to so I straighten this out. I would hate for my rent to not be paid on time because flex hasn't resolved the issue. I have also sent emails and have contacted them though the app as well.

It was fine for over a year, until they started pushing ACH so hard and my portal really wouldn't synch with them. Rent is so important and time sensitive, and after the last few months being stressed and panicked about getting Flex to work, I am tapping out. Won't be using it again. AND the fact that they don't have a web-based option also is incredibly frustrating.

Must be a new glitch with the new update. I tried to pay my rent but says my card can't be processed. Then I noticed my billing address info was deleted. When I tried to enter in my address, it froze. I've tried several times to enter it but it keeps freezing when I try to select the correct State. Please fix the glitch! Currently I can't pay my rent due to issues with the app.
