Alright, so I’ve been using Flip Sampler for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile music studio where you can import your own sounds or record stuff straight from your phone’s mic. As soon as you record a new sound, you can start playing it on these cool drum pads and even map it out on a keyboard.
There’s also a bunch of effects and editing tools to shape your sounds however you want. You can record performances and the app will let you add automation and do all sorts of fun stuff. It’s got a piano roll view too where you can get really detailed with the notes and velocities.
Look, if you’re into making music on the go, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not the most complex one out there, but it does the job pretty well. There’s a few quirks here and there, like the automation can be a bit finicky, but overall Flip Sampler is a pretty solid little music studio to have on your phone.
