would like to see option in app to pay what's been used by using the usage tab. that way when final bill is due it's barely nothing. u also would see less and less debt if people could chip away at the bill weekly. Also would like to see when there's credit available to ask if Payment should b made with the credit. maybe somebody wants to use it for a slow month etc. do that and 5 stars.. UPDATE..stop telling me to disable developers options in my phone ..now your using nagware.

Short story: tied to reset password with SpeedPay, never got their email and in "Help" section say to contact them at the email/number below, but they don't have any contact. I reached out to FPL, they are clueless and have no idea how SpeedPay works and they could not give me a contact number from them. EMBARRASSING !!!!
Have had no problems with the service or the app! Easy to navigate and understand.
It would help if "current usage" would actually load. Since Gulf power buyout this whole tracking usage has been a nightmare. Otherwise the app works as it should. Overall seems like some functionality has been lost through the years. Please fix, much appreciated.
Love the app! Its easy to get caught up in every day life. Having help to remind me when bills are due keeps my stress down, lol. I forgot a payment power was off went through the app and paid power was on in less than a hour. It breaks down our usage and gives you tips on how to save. I wish my old power company in Georgia had a app like this.
I love the app, but it would be nice to pay with a debit card in the app instead of having to go to a web browser.
So I have to pay a $2.50 fee to FPL in order to pay my FPL electric bill. Pay a bill in order to pay a bill. How crazy is that. For people like myself. on a fixed income and rising prices, I am forced to pay even more even if I go to a pay center. Already struggling.
stop trying to force me to use budget billing. it's so annoying every time I open the app it pops up budget billing and every time I try to pay a bill it pops up again
Since the most recent update on 8/28/25, I now get an error stating something went wrong with FPL. FPL closed because the app has a bug. Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error.
I was in automatic payments. I changed accounts. I entered all the correct information from the new account. Somehow I didn't go through. my bill was one ninety four and because they wanted to charge me two hundred and twenty four dollars because I wasn't on automatic payments. mind you, I am on a phone auto. Pay they are a bunch of thieves.
Prices have increased from the $100's to $190's for an 800 sq ft apt. I asked if they could inspect the meter and apt for free since we had experienced many outages. They advised that everything seemed to be functioning correctly on their end without inspecting. A price increase on every bill hurts me as I live check to check. on off peek months, my bill used to be approx $75.00. I work 6 days a week, and nobody is home. The thermostat is always set at 75 and never changes.
for months now every time I want to sign in, I have to create a new password. It says password has expired, so I reset the password, literally sign out and sign back in.And it won't let me sign in. i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and the issue doesn't resolve. And I can't find a phone number to call f p l to see if there is a way to fix it
Very slow to load, cannot get my energy usage since new meters installed. states there is not enough information available even though there have been at least to billing cycles.
I can't rate this app above 1 star because all of a sudden it stopped working. It ONLY loads the splash page - nothing further! What happened? Used to be fine. Now it's just annoying especially when I need to check & pay my bill. I uninstalled/reinstalled & that did NOTHING! *UPDATE: Figured out the reason why I can't get past the splash page. App ONLY works if I logon WITHOUT Wi-Fi on. I MUST login using Data Only. Once logged in, I can turn my Wi-Fi back on. NEVER had this issue before ..
The app is buggy, I have to open and close it several times for it to actually load. Once I get it to open, some of the features don't work and get hung on "loading". It's not just the app, I guess it's fpl itself since some of the information I want to view is never or barely ever available, like my energy usage... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and not just here on the app but directly on their website, whether I go in on the phone or my pc
NEEDS FURTHER DEVELOPMENT. App needs access to more energy data - like on the website... Want to be able to compare usage week to week - in daily mode... not just current week (want to be able to go back in daily mode, a "week page" at a time. Also, be able to look at daily hourly usage - again, like on website. Nice new feature might be a setable alarm - when daily use is above or below a certain range, that could really assist in spotting inoperative A/C units, etc.
This app sucks...I click submit to make a payment...nothing...had to pay online. Not to mention they try to make it seem like it's your fault for the higher bill. Im paying at least $50-$60 more during the winter months and thats when our bill is lowest because we're barely using heat/cool. Its BS. Worried to see what my summer bill will be when we're using A/C continuously. Hate this company.
Very informative app! My light bill was triple what my highest bill has ever been in a year and a half. The usage graph made it easy to locate the problem in the cooling system. Thank you so much!! I am on a fixed income and cannot afford surprises of that nature with prices rising on everything else so quickly, it is by the grace of God I make ends meet.
App is not sending me notifications when my bill is due. I received a $5 late fee because I didn't get a payment alert, so missed the payment by one day. I checked my app notifications and they are set to "allow". The entire purpose of me downloading app was to have the comfort of knowing when my bill was due and being able to pay it easily with my phone. If they don't fix this glitch, I'm uninstalling the app and going back to online.
Horrible. It's insane you can't make automatic payments on your credit card. Can't even use a credit card to pay on the app without using a Speedpay. The app only allows you to pay directly with your checking account. We all know fpl enjoys applying every fee humanly possible, at least make it easier for us to pay bill and said transaction fees. It's literally the only bill I have issues paying due to the interface. Fpl makes ecua seem like a godsend.
