If you know Benny Greb, you'll know exactly how to use this. It's a great tool for practicing. Would love to see more features and more practice tools, ability to program sixteenths and sextuplets, groups of 5s and 7s, polyrhythms etc.

Amazing app! Definitely will work your brain out. But it would be even better to have more subdivision and time signatures available. Other than that, I'm a fan!
A high quality metronome app. Would recommend for any musician who wants to build his/her inner rhythm and keeping up with the beat when playing without a metronome.
For a metronome/practice tool so advanced, and at this price it is disappointing to see common time signatures like 6/8 and 12/8 missing. Seems like they would be easy to include also.
Not only is this app helpful to improve consistant timing, it's another tool that makes practicing more fun. My kids even like to play with it by just clapping their hands to it. Cool idea, Benny. Even my teacher, Jeff Campitelli likes it (previous drummer for Joe Satriani).
Great App. Maybe add a functionality where after a certain number of bars the gap bar can increase by 1 that will be a cool addition so that I don't have to stop and manually change the gap bars.
Excellent metronome! Aesthetically pleasing interface and powerful implementation! Some feature suggestions: 1)Tap function calculated based on button press rather than release 2)Complex time signatures (8 and 16 in denominator) 3)Complex groupings (quintuplets, septuplets, 16ths grouped in 5s, 7s, etc.) 4)Type-in tempo. The wheel and +/- are good, but typing with a 10 key (perhaps by tapping the tempo number) would be a welcomed addition.
It's basically perfect except it for can't keep accurate time when the screen is locked on my Pixel 6. Please please fix this so I can have this gap click running for 3 hours without charging my phone!!!
It is extremely buggy for a paid app. When I put one bar of click and one bar of gap, when it comes back to the one bar of click it is missing beat 1. Other combinations have similar issues too of missing click beats when there should be
Super well made and easy to figure out. Great tool for improving tempo control. Only thing missing is the ability to add an accent to every beat. It's really hard to tell the downbeat apart from the subdivisions at faster tempos without this feature.
Great app! Been using Gap Click for some time now and it meets my requirements. You can find different ways to play with tempos that will help your progress. It works well with my Sennheiser headphones via bluetooth. Also, great looking app.
This is the most revolutionary metronome tool ever made. I tell literally every single one of my musician friends to get this, and have told every teacher I have encountered. I used to play to the metronome on off beats like Benny Greb suggested on his drumeo, but there is nothing like counting outloud and playing exercises to find out 4 measures later u were slightly rushing. And then u do it over again, cause u need to. Thank you Mr. Greb, u have made me a better musician.
Nice app, been waiting on an android version for a while so thank you! Heres a few critiques (understanding that this app is still in its early stages). I've noticed some frequent pops and glitches in the metronome audio when outside of the app. For some reason, when outside the app while using a BT headset, after a few minutes the tempo fluctuates severely with pops in the audio. this has never happened with any other met for me. Still a fun and reliable app to use when in the app itself!
This app is excellent at helping develop personal timing, The gap feature helps one develop, enhance, or solidify their sense of meter. I started using this as a long time drummer And when I'm having any issues with my meter, I go to the gap Click, to help me get back on track... Thanks, Benny!
Almost perfect. The only issue is that there is no count in. Not a big deal for drums but if you play a non-percussive instrument then it's tough to get perfectly synced up to the bars and beats (starting the beginning of melody on the second bar for example).
Absolutely amazing idea and when it works it's beautiful but there's some major bugs, when leaving the app or turning the screen off with a metronome going it will eventually stop working and then when I go back on to the app it glitches out super hard and tries to catch up on all the beats that it missed and then it all the sudden starts working.
Excellent! I would like to see an additional timer feature so that a specific idea can be focused on for a certain amount of time. A good example of this is when using Joe Morello's 5,3,1 method where you practice an idea for 5 minutes at a given tempo, then 3 minutes at a slightly higher tempo and finally for 1 minute at a higher tempo again.
super cool idea I love it!! but there seems to be a bit of a bug where intermittently I hear a glitchy pop or click out of time with the metronome and I find it too distracting! Im using a Samsung s8 and this happens both with headphones and internal phone speaker. if this gets sorted out I will 100% download this again!
Awesome app but.... It would be cool if you could choose what beats in a bar are present. For example practicing with a click on beat three or if the click could be set on the and of 4. This would create more space and help the player develop a stronger sense of time. Overall I love the app that's my only criticism. No worries though I know it's just in the early stages.
