So here's my honest take on Goods Unite Us. I've tested a bunch of apps that track political donations, and this one's pretty solid overall. The database is pretty extensive, and it's easy to look up info on your favorite brands. But it can also be a bit daunting to sift through all the data, especially if you're not super into this stuff. Still, I'd say it's a useful tool if you want to make more informed purchasing decisions. Not gonna lie, the ads can get annoying after a while, but you can pay to remove them.

Cons

Description

Been using Goods Unite Us for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you look up political donations made by companies and brands. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – you just search for a brand or company, and the app will show you info on the political contributions from that organization and its employees. There’s also a section where you can browse by category, like clothing, restaurants, banks, and so on. It’s got a lot of data to dig through.

Look, if you care about where companies are spending their money in politics, you’ll probably find this app useful. It’s not perfect – there are some gaps in the data and it can be a bit overwhelming at times. But overall it does a good job of bringing more transparency. Worth checking out if that’s your thing.

Could use more businesses and should list them by common name, not corporate names. It is easy to use with helpful information. Contrary to what some reviewers say, because they...

I'm unsure of the validity of the data presented in the app. I've seen data that I've known to be false and then the next time I look it up...
