So here's my honest take on Guitar Scales & Patterns Pro. I've tested a bunch of music theory and practice apps, and this one's pretty solid overall. The scale library is super comprehensive, and the scale box patterns and triads are great learning tools. The metronome is a nice bonus too. The UI could use some work, and it can get a bit repetitive after a while, but for the price (free) it's hard to complain. If you're serious about improving your guitar playing, this is a great app to have in your toolbox.

Description

Been using Guitar Scales & Patterns Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically a super comprehensive app that shows you tons of different guitar scales and patterns. Pretty solid if you’re into practicing music theory and improving your playing.

Here’s what you can do – there’s a bunch of different scale types like minor pentatonic, major, blues, and all the modes. It’s got cool scale box pattern highlighting to show you the fingerings. And there’s a simple built-in metronome which is handy. You can even see the harmonized triads for each scale which is a nice touch.

Look, if you’re a guitarist trying to level up your skills, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job and has a ton of useful features. Worth checking out for sure.
