I have purchased and used this app for several years. I recommend it. But I got a new phone and now it says I don't own it any longer. Can developer please contact me so I can get my pro status back. Also you should put more info inside the app to help contact help and a login , logout link. Please contact me. I use this app daily

Started with the free version and loved it enough to buy the full version, it's what i use to help learn while i'm at college. just found the feature that allows you to add a 7th string which is very handy since my primary guitar is a 7.

Great tool! I feel like it's everything I need and then some. If I were to want anything more come out of the app. Perhaps a circle of fifths or chord banks but that's straying away from scales which is what the app does a good job with.

Pretty good app, except every time I try to change to a different mode I get a message asking me to buy the pro version which is what I am in, I've already paid for it. I can get to the new mode by getting out of the app which takes me to the Google Play screen and if I click 'open' and go back to the app it does open the nee mode but all of this is a real pain.

Updating review to 5 stars. After receiving refund, I heard back from developer that the crashing issue was fixed in next update. So just repurchased again this morning and updated it and now app runs well. I like how clean and simple UI is! Makes exploring scales easy! One feature request: would be great to be able to display other notes on the strings that are not part of current scale (maybe in non-highlighted format), and also allow you to play those notes as well.

Great app. Can notes be seen turned to you when in landscape mode ? Record feature would be nice for composing. Being a mode is the combination of 7 scales shifted on the neck, would like to see an option for allowing these boxed "shapes" to be shown, maybe a colored outline for each. Worth every penny.

I loved the app before I just updated it, now it only works in landscape mode, please bring back portrait mode, this is a huge bummer, trying to figure out hownto uninstall and re install the old version, is it available somewhere? Also this app is missing the Hexatonic scales and also the Hexatonic+blue note It would.be nice to be able to program in custom scales also tlscales in the "other" catagory aren't able to be switched to different modes. Do all this and it would be a 5 star app!

I already purchased the app and I keep getting the message that I have to purchase the app in order to have access to the scales. I deleted the old version and this still happening. I have sent an email to the developer and not a reply so far. Update: I was able to update the app and the new version allows me to access all the scales. Now I am reluctant to get updates based on this experience.

This app is perfect. I use it almost every day. It also allows for 7 string tuning! Edit: Removing feedback from a previous edit because it has been completely addressed. This app is killer. I highly recommend the paid version. It's worth every penny and is a tool I use for songwriting almost daily.

Great app with a wide selection of great scales and excellent customization. My only reason for a star deduction is that as a bass player who uses drop tuning, I'm unable to access the C#1 I need. E1 is the lowest this app will go... So for bass players and extended range guitarists, you'll be limited in this app.

Simple to use app. Not only is it an easy way to reference scales, but the ability to tap the screen and play notes makes it a great app to work out melodies. I would have paid more for this useful tool. The free version is already well worth the download, but the price of the paid version is a real bargain.

Very good and straightforward app. Definitely the best I've tried with no ads or subscriptions. I would love to see a future update that allows the ability to hear the selected scale (ideally starting at different points). That would make it easier to run through them quickly if I'm looking for a particular sound/feel. The app can currently play the individual notes when tapped. The app is close to perfect already, and that feature would easily push this to 5 stars for me.

This app is really well thought out and useful. My only wish is that you could display 12 frets without scrolling. This would make it easier to work out scale runs. Also the blue note on the blues scales would be nice in a different colour. Apart from that - superb! :)

Brilliant app. Easy to use, no adds, great for learning scales or for scale reference. I also find it great for writing melodies on. I liked it enough to buy the full version. Many thanks to Vladimir. I use this a lot. If I could suggest any improvements: a) sharps / flats as per the key signature (eg Dm does not have A and A# it has A and Bb) b) more options for interval notation, especially I-ii-iii-IV-V-vi-vii and 1-m2-m3-d4-P5-M6-M7 type notation. These would be very useful (for me).

Paid app is great and ticks all the right boxes, custom tunings and up to 8 strings. Only thing that could make it perfect is 1) option to change note letters to just fret numbers (probably just me) 2) would be really cool to be able to press the notes of a scale into the fretboard and have the app tell you what scale it is as I've been learning alot by ear and using apps like this to desipher what scale I'm actually using. 3)ability to zoom out to 12 or more frets would be great

This is one of the best scale apps on play store, it's good for beginners but to break out of the box to free up the fretboard can you make options for Vertical and horizontal way and also the CAGED system and chords it will make it complete and you wouldn't want another app except this one. please can you add the notes names Do Re Mi Fa So La Si Do that would make it easier to Thanks

If you already understand what the theory that underlies scales (I have a very vague idea, for context) but want a quick, simple to use and clear, correct representations of the notes on the neck(both octaves) you can't do much better. The variations are seemingly endless. If like me your theory is just a tad too in need of a great deal of learning, especially WHY and in WHAT KIND of music or just solo the scales are built and HOW they represent the various keys and variations....well practice!

This is an awesome app if you want to learn your scale patterns. It also contains the chords for each scale, and some exotic scales as well. Best money I've spent on a music app. Does exactly what I want/need, nothing more nothing less. My only minor gripe is the fact that it sounds through the scale every time you select the scale. Would be nice if this feature can be muted as it gets a bit annoying when jumping through scales.

This is exactly what I needed. A visually pleasing guide with minimal distractions and a lag-free playground to familiarize myself with the feel of the scales. It is perfect in its simplicity while offering a lot at the same time. The selectable positions, the scroll, the zoom, the lock... all very thoughtful touches. I enjoyed the lite version so much I bought pro after an hour to unlock the rest obviously, but really wanted to appeciate and support this effort. Well done and thank you!

very good app, just what I needed, good work. possible improvements: 1. include a switch for automatic playing on/off 2. include the scale up to B0, as I am using it for 5 string Bass with tuning B0 E1 A1 D2 G2 again: thanks for the good work!! something else: it would be good to be able to set your own scales like the Mixolydian Pentatonic. To create a Mixolydian Pentatonic scale, you can take the Mixolydian mode and remove the 4th and the b7.
