Apps are not working properly. Sleep for instance doesn't register anything after getting up to pee. Even if I sleep for five hours after. I turned off sms because it notified me of texts I didn't get on my phone. Steps are so far off that it's funny. Instructions are ridiculous. Not just bad translations, but completely useless. And some just aren't there. I figured a few things out by trial and error. Nothing about it written down. Like how do you set the interval of testing? Say O2 or temp?
Reviews for H Band
← Back to H BandI only bought this watch for it's BP, heart rate, and sleep mode. The sleep mode does not record data. I've compared the heart rate with my pulse oximeter and it's accurate. BP is accurate as well. I also think you should not have to turn on location in order to record data. That's on a need to know basis and you don't need to know. I would have given you 3 stars but you will have to settle for two since sleep mode is not accurate. Improve your services and the watch or stop false advertising.
Honestly deplorable. Since I bought my Blackview watch and connected it to this app, I have been forced to reconnect it multiple times. As I write this, I've had to uninstall the app for the third time because it refuses to connect even after I fiddled with my Bluetooth. Also, even when you try to log out and log back in, it tells you to review and confirm you read the privacy policy, but there's no "yes" or "no" option. I'm just returned to the login page.
I like this watch app for it's blood pressure and heart rate monitoring, which it seems to do well. I also like how it syncs all of my phone notifications, and separate alarms on the watch itself. That being said, it does not track my steps very well. I had another smart watch that was tracking mine for 25,000 steps a day. Which make since with how much walking you do as a nite shift custodian and it's the same problem for sleep tracking. It does track my sleep properly or at all at times.
The weather options are lacking. All you can set is farenheight/Celsius and to have the options pushed to your watch. The weather doesn't update frequent enough to be reliable. Please allow the weather to update every 30 minutes or maybe 15 minutes. Also, the weather location often shows as "Shun Yi Qu". I'm not sure if this issue is the Blackview X1 watch or the HBand app. You also need more watch faces. Many of them are unprofessional looking.
This has to be the worst and most frustrating app I've ever used. It constantly disconnects ... it's been trying to reconnect for 15 minutes now and *nothing.* I get up and go to the washroom and it records a stupid number of steps ... 2300 last night to walk from my bedroom to my bathroom and back. What?? I have uninstalled and reinstalled it probably a dozen times and it's still useless. UGH.
The app is OK. The font is so small that it's is hard to read in some places. I love the features in this app and my goopow watch. I like the extra features for women and the feature to set the time where flicking your wrist won't turn the screen on is genius. My fit bits light would wake me all the time. This one eliminated that problem. Features I would like to see added is more than one activity. I'm not always running. Sometimes I am swimming, walking, or doing yoga. Find phone doesn't work.
Good when it actually works. The problem isn't the watch. I can clearly see the watch is recording my sleep and other data, which does sometimes show up in the app, only to disappear the next time I open the app. I can look at historical data, and it shows, but all of the detailed daily data is gone. What is the point of needing to sign in to the app if the data is not saved anywhere? When the data shows up, it's good info. But then it disappears again, never to return.
It keeps on disconnecting from my phone so it stops calculating everything sleep tracking, steps, heart rate, and blood pressure...I just want it to do the things I've set it to!! No matter how I change my settings I get the same end results.... How convenient is it that this started happening right after the warranty ended!!! I can't even return it for a refund 😤
The watch itself is nice for the price I don't think you can beat it. Cons, it doesnt record sleep very well if at all, blood pressure and heart rate need manual recordings. As for the App, it is very basic. It doesn't sync to Google Fit, Samasung Health, My Fitness Pal, or Health Sync. I've tried several different apps and they are a no go. It would be nice if the steps on the pedometer could sync to at least 1 health tracker app. Also disconnects from the watch ALL THE TIME
Tried two different watches, first wouldn't even come up on the list of available bluetooth devices on my phone when I scan. The second showed up in the list, but still would not connect through the app. I tried turning off/on bluetooth on the phone; restarting the phone, restarting the watch... no connection for either watch. The product is complete garbage and wasted my time. Both are being returned to amazon.
This app is useless. It only recorded the first day and not all of the readings, only steps and body temperature. Since then, it only shows steps. No other data I measured with the watch is being captured. (Measurements are inaccurate anyway) Also frequently gives connection error after making changes even though it did transfer the changes to the device and there are no issues with my Bluetooth, location and Wi-Fi connections. Disappointing at best...
The device keeps sending me random notifications, such as change your keyboard, but it wont let me set my notifications. I switch certain notifications on, and the app turns them off, as soon as i move to another option. I turn notifications on, and vice versa. I dont have access to the timer, stopwatch, or spotify, like the product advertises. I need my stopwatch so i can keep track of my 15 min breaks at work. And also music at work.
It worked fairly well up until this point. Since the most recent update, i have not been able to log in or pair my wristband no matter how many times i try. Whats the point in even having the band if you cant access any of the info through the app. Even when i could log in, the app would never stay paired with the band for more than a day or two. Extremely frustrating.
Nice App. Not perfect, but nice. One thing that has happened. The blood glucose readings were in the US standard mm/dl. Somehow this has changed to the european standard, mmol/L I spent weeks trying to find a way to change it back. I deleted the app cache and data on android. No difference, in fact it prompted me to login and I had all the data restored from the cloud. So nice. I finally found the setting under "Mine" at the bottom. I hope the developer keeps working on this. It's nice.
Right now a 3. May change later. I am only using this to track steps, sleep, blood sugar and oxygen, not all the fancy stuff. Seems to be tracking, but even with turning off the option for the phone, it takes over the Bluetooth and any audio goes through the watch instead of my phone. There seems to be no instructions on how to change this. I have even gone into the app setting and removed the permissions, but it still does it.
It was ok while it lasted; less than a year. . I especially liked the the steps count & sleep monitor, etc. I didn't like that u had to actually pull off the band to charge the watch; I prefer a plugin port on the watch to charge like a phone. So I guess like the saying goes..."All good things must come to an end". One day the part to charge broke.☹
Absolutely love this!!!! But... If I even slightly wake up it cuts my sleep data right there. Please make it so that we can adjust it for OUR normal sleep hours. I used to have a watch that I could do that with and it worked much better about not cutting off the data in the wrong place. I love all the functions of this watch!!!! Could add a weight module....
Worked great until recently. After a recent android update my app no longer opens. I'm also unable to connect it with any other fitness apps so the app for the watch is a bit useless. Nice UI. Easy to use. Update- I got my app to work. I found another flaw it's difficult to display a battery percentage that annoys me as a user a bit.
I've used this app for about 2 years. Here's my honest feedback. if used correctly and reset regularly, the watch uploads decently accurate data to the app. some monitors, like oxygen and blood glucose, are not accurate and shouldn't be used as an actual data point. it's buggy and not great, but it'll do in a pinch for cheap. it's not pricey, so the quality is just as cheap. it tells the time all right though.
