The latest update to the app is terrible. Who goes from an app back to a webpage? I used to put everything I needed in my "cart" and use that as my shopping list with aisles listed. Now if you want that feature, you have to put it on your shopping list which is now separate than the cart. And half the items are now not organized by aisle. Please bring back the old app.

← Back to Harris TeeterThe app was finally updated and it's god awful. Now it matches their site, which is just as terrible. The biggest issue is that they removed all sorting/filters. You can no longer sort by price/unit by price or filter by deals. For some idiotic reason they also added delivery items so when you search you get thousands of results. You have to manually filter after every single search to only show pickup items. Why wouldn't that be default when I shopping for pickup!?
The app doesn't do anything now. I want to make a shopping list, it wasn't great on the previous version but it was okay. Now, it's gone completely. Only option is to order for shopping service. It seems like they don't want me in the store. So, to Giant I go. I can make a list and check out as I shop there. I get the items I want and it's easy. Too bad, I like my local HT stores but district management is making it difficult to shop there (not to mention getting run into staff shoppers)
I used to love this app and used it to order groceries every week for pickup. Now it redirects you to a webpage with terrible navigation. Weekly specials are hard to access and then there's no way to add sale items to your cart, only to your list. I have to choose my store every time I log in. And items are listed as available "in store" but not for pickup, which makes no sense. If it's in the store why can't it be put with my order? Web page isn't designed to be used on mobile.
The app requires too many 'clicks' to get to the shopping page. It requires the user to select a store each time you login; should remember your selection. When there, it will not scroll up or down to search products. I've tried to uninstall and then re-install, but the issues still exist. Do not have problems with any other grocery store apps.
Not a fan of the update. Items are not listed in the correct location when shopping in store. (Example: bread that is in the bread aisle is listed in the bakery.) Also the substitution process for online orders is terrible. If there is an out of stock item and I don't like the employee-chosen replacement/quantity, there is no way to change it. Rejecting it in the app automatically completes your order and there's nothing the store can do!
Useless compared to what it used to be. The weekly ad can't be viewed by category and is just one long side scroll of products (annoying). It's no longer possible to add items to different lists without going into the lists each time and changing the active one, then going back to the product to add it. Also, search filters are broken—tapping items in the results list brings up different items.
I have been using the app to look at what is on sale and for coupons for years. The recent changes to the app makes that impossible now. You can only shop for pickup or delivery, neither of which will I ever do. It also kicks you to a webpage, which makes you wonder what the point of having an app even is. Very, very disappointed with this app now. I am hopeful they will change it back, and if not it would be nice for them to let me know so I can know to delete it off my phone.
The online shopping update is not an improved experience! It's a pain being redirected to the website instead of being able to use the app. Some items I used to be able to order ahead are now "in store only" which defeats the purpose when you're placing a pick-up order. It's a much more cumbersome process, and I have yet to figure out how, or if I can add notes for my shopper. I can only hope they'll get the bugs worked out soon!
This "upgraded" app is horrible. I used to use this app 2-3 times/week for years to build my cart and place curbside orders, and all of the features that made it so easy to use are gone. I haven't placed a curbside order since the upgrade because I can't stand the app. Despite my membership, I've been shopping elsewhere because of the app. The old app enabled you to view and buy the weekly ad items in one large grid-type view, and you could see product details by clicking on the item. No more!
Please fix your app. Online ordering has become almost impossible with your "new online experience". Why make a list if you can't transfer the items to the cart? As you can see from my previous review, your new app is not changing things for the better. *I have been ordering online for a year and a half and it's been fantastic. I'm so impressed by the shoppers and the choices they sometimes have to make. Our family is happy with and grateful for this service.*
So whatever new experience you want users to have, this app no longer functions. You want it to be an order app, not an app that will allow you to manage coupons, lists, etc. I have to pick a store and then it boots me to the website? What's the point of the App then? I can't even access the barcode for my loyalty account. Glad I stored that in the Stocard app. What a waste.
7/31/24: The app keeps logging me out. I've logged back in, but I don't have time for this. THERE IS CLEARLY A BUG, PLEASE FIX IT ASAP!! I just had shoulder surgery, so I'm trying to clip my digital coupons to my account (because missing work I can definitely use SAVING money). I've been using the app weekly for a few months & this is the 1st issue I've had. I'd like to create a list or even place an order since I can't drive right now, but this is unnecessary & inconvenient!
I like the app overall. Ordering is fairly quick and easy if you have a list set up. I also like the digital coupons and special deals you get for using the app. A big shopping experience improvement would be to sort the cart by dept (like the list currently does). I find I forget things bc it sorts by the order you add to the cart. Also recently the coupons aren't working properly. I only see 7 available coupons. I've been having to use the desktop site as a workaround to clip the coupons.
Not working at all on Android since update. Works no problem on Windows and iOS devices. On Android, it just keeps asking you to sign in and then keeps flashing and won't go to the next page. Tried customer support, tried clearing cache, etc , reinstall app. Changing password and username. Same exact thing. Does not work on Android. Pop up blocker disabled no VPN.
Not efficient or user friendly app. Every update is worse than the one before. The version from like 6 years ago was super efficient and easy to use. So much scrolling and clicking, prices aren't correct, and now sale prices sometime come up as "null." App is almost as insufferable as their terrible commercials and jingles. And I say this as someone who actually likes the store and shops there primarily.
terrible app, store, customer service. for 5 years I've been trying to be able to use my phone number at the cash register. I've set it up at multiple customer service desks, called the customer service phone number six different times in the last 2 years, was told to download the app and set up my account there and have done that multiple times. it is still telling me that my phone number is not verified. asinine.
This app sucks. Shows me coupons but refuses to let me clip any of them. I deleted the app and reinstalled it with the same results. I signed in numerous times and same result. What a joke. Nothing but issues for a while now. This needs to be fixed! I would give zero stars if I could. Seem like your company just doesn't care. I will spend my money somewhere else! I'm done!
Real time information needs to be upgraded. If a shopper goes to a store and an item they wanted wasn't available, they would leave if that item was the main reason for going in the 1st place! It feels like you're being cheated, finding out an item you wanted wasn't available. Like I said, you would go to another store and buy everything there. Even another store in the chain. You could spend over 100 dollars and not get what you want. Forced to accept the order.
Easy enough to use. Food is organized by category in the Shop section and prices are usually easy to find. Product is clear. The Weekly Ads part isn't user friendly and could stand to be reformatted. Also, I took the time to create a list the night before and when I went to the store the next day, every item on there had been replaced with a gray box that said something about the products being unavailable. So the list future was useless.
