Reviews for Hebrew Bible Study Translation

Firstly let me appreciate what a wonderful concept this app is. It is truly a wonderful tool for someone who doesn't want to open the sefaria online everytime for reference regarding a passage. But please do make changes in the way we navigate the app. Going back from the verse to the list of chapters of the particular book must be enabled. Also please enable note writing and highlighting. Going back to main menu everytime is definitely tedious. There is a general lag in every step.

I think it is very helpful in understanding OT. I might be wrong but I thought when I originally downloaded it, it was in the original Hebrew format and order with only 24 books and that was put together in Law, Prophets and and writings. The order that the OT Christian bible is sectioned is a bit confusing for me to follow. Like I know that the OT ended w Chronicles. I preferred that instead.

I really earnestly appreciate the kind of work invested in forming this Bible app. the preciseness in translating the scripture without tampering with any meaning. its amazing.., unlike most versions. I would hope that the names be translated directly..., just Hebrew to English.., minus the Greek developed ones. much as its understandable for this is a study Bible. but wholesomely.., its a great app.

As a new convert, I have been looking high and low for a bible study app that had both Hebrew and English languages and was easy to understand. This app has ticked those boxes and so much more. You can have daily plans of bible study, scriptures, and more. You can listen to the chapters and verses as well as read them yourself. It is PERFECT for those who want to learn and understand Judaism. Thank you and keep up the good work!

The Bible is wonderful and a great addition to my Bible study routine. I am absolutely enjoying the readings, but no matter how much I adjust the audio I'm still coming up with an unabashedly unpleasant, mechanical female voice that generously mispronounces a lot of the Word, while the read-along screen bounces merrily thru the reading, often irrespective of the audio's pace. Still, for all the quirkiness...a blessing that keeps me interested and engaged. Thanks!!!

Awesome tool! I suggest adding the ability to save chats created with the AI. Congratulations on an extraordinary app!

I absolutely love this app. Greatest tool for life and walking with God daily.

Was searching 4 the complete Bible not just the OT. & looking 2 hear the Jewish words 2 learn their pronunciations correctly - I learn best by audio/listening. It's very cool 2 see the original Hebrew script next 2 English, I was sadly bummed 2 find that the English didn’t include the letter form of the Hebrew words so that I may learn 2 say them correctly. That, & in the 1st chapter of Genesis, I found a typo in the English half of this Bible version. May be due to the diff in Languages.

An absolutely incredible app and incomparable resource for in-depth study. My only suggestion is that the weekly parshat be divided into the respective aliyot and allow for the commentaries to be accessed according to each of those instead of only verse-by-verse.

So far, the app is great, no bugs or glitches.

Great app ! Ready access to many Jewish sources and nice option to hear the audio for each individual verse. The voice control to slow or fast is greatly appreciated. I just have one comment concerning the audio quality. Not the voice of the person reading, but there seems to be a little interference in regards to clarity. Maybe it's just my internet connection. Toda raba!

Free, and has the oldest version of the Bible so far in Masoretic Text. If anyone wishes to understand the original versions of the Bible and the ones closer to God. Before Masoretic Text, are The Septuagint LXX, and before them are The Hebrew Manuscript where most of these documents are set 3336 years ago. And majority of these are gone or lost.

The best way to learn basic terms in Hebrew and understand the context of scripture from a Hebrew language perspective.

I have never found a Bible app like this. this app is for far the best in Bible Text as well as knowledge and wisdom. The AI Ari is a great help and support. Thank you Hebrew Bible. I am Ely from Mexico!!

Learn Hebrew at your pace! The repetitive composition of the app is amazing giving you a chance to soak in the words and really learn them. Love this app! ❤️

This is the perfect place to study. I love everything about it: huge and helpful content, great layout, and no odd bugs in the programming. Yes, I love it.

no search button. thanks for quick reply. I don't know what I'm searching for, I just know a search for certain words or verses would help. I've increased stars to 3 for quick reply. ty 😊 🙏

I had never paid for the Premium version of any app. Ever. Yet, within minutes of downloading and opening this one, I knew that I HAD to upgrade. The design and the incredible content blew me away. The free version is very good. But the amazing selection of additional texts are a MUST. This app has brought my weekly Parsha study to a previously unimagined level. And the unbelievably low cost...for the PRICELESS? This app is the ULTIMATE resource for those serious about their studies.

A beautiful app, i'm new to it and have not explored even half of all the material. This is a well planned treasure of info. So clear, so concise. I cherish the way guidance, time and much sacrifice is revealed in this app. I only hope to use it wisely and appreciate the wisdom that everyone who dives into it can obtain so much knowledge and understanding of the scriptures and if your eyes are weary, take time to listen and hear the words of the LORD.

I just downloaded this fantastic app. I've noticed that while the audio reading in English and Russian is great, the audio for the original Hebrew isn't quite at the same level. For example, even in Genesis 1:2, there's a pronunciation mistake with the word 'המים' . Also, I observed that later on, almost all instances of the letter 'ו' (vav) seem to be pronounced the same way, which isn't accurate.
