Reviews for Horizon Blue

Slow, Billion dollar company and you can't make a simple working app. Responding won't help. Make your app better. simple as that.

App never works. When it did, it would show me doctors hundreds of miles away. Glad I pay all that money for insurance, I can't even use it. Free Luigi

Suddenly the app and the website will no longer text me a code, but they will email me one. If I try to get a code via text, I get a message that one was sent, but I never receive it. I've tried the "send another" but that doesn't work either. Update: Problem was not with Horizon. My phone received an update from Verizon which affected its ability to receive texts. That has now been fixed.

Cannot upload documentation for a claim on FSA. This app always sucked it will never be good. I will use a computer. Uninstalled. Wondered if they fixed the app. Still cannot upload receipts. It's all a scam to take your money.

I can't request a reimbursement through their website because of "technical difficulties" so I decide to try their app. I click my accounts and they don't even have horizon my way on the app. Also I emailed them for a different issue and I get a generic "someone will respond to you in 2 business days" email. 3 weeks later no response so I email them again this time angrily asking why no response to me and then they finally respond only to say that they don't know how to resolve the issue. :(

Edit: the response is meaningless as I have done everything correctly. I have never received anything in the mail stating it was incomplete. Junk app, doesn't do what its intended. Why bother creating an app that doesn't work? I've submitted the same claim on three separate occasions, give it time to "process", and it NEVER appears. Piece of junk

Change the app back to the old version! This new version makes it difficult to find doctors by speciality. It seems purposely harder to narrow down the search, so we can't find doctors now. We have to click into each individual profile instead of seeing the preview of speciality areas doctors work in. It's not streamlined, no longer user-friendly, and more time consuming to use. Absolute trash.

Tried to get in to see a doctor for hours but the system keeps kicking me out when I am next. It asks me to reenter my pattern and then I get put back in line behind other people. I called the tech services number and the unhelpful woman told me that the system will time out. She didn't even want to create a ticket to fix this!!! So don't you dare respond by giving me the tech number! It is a waste of time! This service used to work great! Another thing that is broken!

This app is slow. Making your monthly premium payments on the app never update in time for the upcoming month. Leaving you to believe you have a zero balance, when in actuality you don't. The search features aren't very good either, leaving you to search multiple times or be complete exact to find what you're looking for. You would think a health insurance with as much money as they have, would spend more on making a better app, that updates faster and makes life easier.

Okay for looking up insurance, but telehealth is limited to app-only (even though the browser website connects just fine on a desktop...as long as you have a webcam and mic). Then when you try to use the app for telehealth, it refuses to work with middling-to-older phones! What do you do if you're a poor or elderly patient? Or have limited mobility? Or even if it's just the weekend? New phones don't grow on trees.

The update broke the app for no reason. First off, previously it would just remember your login so you didn't have to login again every time. Now you have to login every time you use the app which is annoying. The real problem is that the search function is broken. Using Find Care no longer brings up options for me, despite it working before. What is the point of an update if the main reason you use the app is unusable. Despite it having worked perfectly fine before the update.

This app is HORRIBLE! The biometric login option is gone, and it makes you use a verification code every single time to log in. The problem with that is that if you use email for the verification code, you need two devices. That's because if you leave the screen that's waiting for the 6 digit code to check your email to get the code, the app goes back to the log in screen. Oh, and try to verify a mobile number and the app crashes. This app sucks!

Horizon App is horrible with Automatic Payments! I had automatic payment on but I made a payment on 4/30 the day before the due date 5/1 for $1,061 and the app still didn't recognize that payment and it charged me another $1,061!! It took out $2000 of my money! Greedy!! Do not trust the automatic payment & Horizon's AI technology! It will try to screw you over. Horizon needs to get back to having humans work on billing issues and not Ai!! The app should have recognized I made a payment on 4/30!

unfortunately, this app might need some major updates or at least a good tune-up seems easy enough to navigate ,but it's glitchy. I downloaded the app a few weeks ago in hopes to easily find a primary doctor and possibly a therapist, however many of the selections bring you to a screen with a prompt telling you that it will take you to a third party site to help you "find care & cost" then crashes after that. "were experiencing technical difficulties". I waited weeks, hoping for an update, but no

"For Security" the app constantly logs you out, why even have an option to remember usernames and passwords if I have to manually enter them every single time I open the app. There's nothing more I hate than having to click the "Remember me" box today and then doing it again tomorrow and the next day because "For Security" I've been signed out and can't use the pin login ever.

Logging in is a nightmare. Every single time the server is down, or logging in by fingerprint just doesn't work for some unidentified reason. And then they don't process more than 4 claims at a time; they just ignore them or deny for a reason that is clearly untrue (like the lack of an address while the address is definitely on the invoice). And don't get me started on trying to fix that.

Poorly thought out from a claims submission perspective. Even though I had an ebill already on my computer I couldn't use that in the app. No, I had to download it, print it, take a picture and upload it in the app. Not only that but I had to log in on my computer because you have to submit a claim form which, guess what, is not available in the app! So I had to print that and take a picture which they may or may not like based on all the dire warnings if your picture isn't good enough for them.

Sounds like from all the other reviews this company can't figure out how to avoid "glitches" as they call them in their replies. As a few other people have said (months ago I might add) I updated the app, attempted to log in, and nothing happens. If I use the wrong password, it tells me so. The right password just leaves me on the login screen, nothing happens. The mobile website is sometimes difficult to use. People rely on this app. This shouldn't happen every time there's an update.

App is impossible to use, can't log in at all, and poorly programmed. It rejects the date because you don't have the slashes automatically loaded into the field, and anytime you switch to another screen, such as to get the required code in text message to log on, it refreshes the screen, starting the process over again. It's the Groundhog Day of apps.

So far not too bad, the app has some improvements that can be made but it's better than most I've used. But to join a telehealth session, when I click the email link, it keeps taking me to the main screen of the app and I have no idea where to go. Also, the times are confusing because it doesn't show time zones and then the reminder email says another time.
