The app is great. The company, however, is dishonest, manipulative, and cares more about money than their customers. The leads are FAR from quality, we receive leads not even in our service area, and for services we do not provide. They were also supposed to run our website on their platform...it was up for a few days, and has been inactive for a while now. We reached out with zero response. Save your money.

Communication is great until they sell you the software, and then help is non-existent. You have to schedule help. It's a half hour with whoever helps you and you can't schedule more than one a week. At this rate it'll be a year before I know how to use this software. Very aggravating. Not worth it. I should have looked at these reviews before I bought it. I have this useless software because I can't get any serious help. They just leave you out in the wilderness to figure it out on your own.

Intrusive and unhelpful. Received numerous calls from the unconsentually. They refuse to delete my account with them after I have tried multiple times on the app(which is an option) and through their "helpline" Which they then try to force the use of the app or redirect to apple, which has nothing to do with the situation

Read the actual written reviews. Many more negative write ups than positive. Assume most 4/5 star reviews are bots/fake. Would give 0 stars if I could. Read fine print, they'll lock you up for one year with no way out unless you term in first month. And they'll still charge you a second month's payment if you cancel in first month. Not to mention the product itself is nothing you can't find elsewhere for much cheaper, if not free. Steer clear.

Not a very useful app for a general contractor. I could see where it would work for someone who does the exact same things over and over, but it is too much time to set up a unique project. Also, be aware that, although it is billed monthly, you are signing up for an annual subscription that cannot be cancelled until the end of the yearly term.

Extreemily hard to find what you need, time & expenses keeps moving to different places, no real good design aps, and the estimating for projects was made by a first grader.. nothing is simple..like build an interior wall. All the choices should pop up. Wood, metal, drywall 1 side, 2? Ect. I only use it for my subs to log time. Lost money on all the estimates I did. And now it says to update, guess what? Its set for auto and there is no way to manually update!

Does not work for me. Doesn't show invoices, po, or estimates. I contacted support and they were suppose to work on the issue. When I contacted them this week to see if it was fixed, the case was closed. And the issue was not fixed! The app only gives me contact info for my clients and messages from clients. ****Edit**** I followed up with Isaiah on Jan 4th via email and still have had no response. I have opened another support ticket hoping its fixed before it gets closed.

horrible platform, they take your money then yoy can never get ahold of them after that.. don't recommend at all!

It is absolutely useless app. Dont recomend to anyone. I was fool enough to sign a contract with them which is for 1 year minimum. You cant stop it after few month unhappy usage. During a year I received very few leads, half of that contacts wasnt even pick up the phone. The rest wasnt work or for trades I didnt even discribe in my list. I just wasted my money with this company. Think 10 times before sign contract with them!!!

Very poor app and overpriced product. The app looks to have the features you'd want from this type of service but they usability is extremely poor. Can't send messages, by the time I've written my message and hit the send button, nothing happens and I have to force close the app. Overall not worth using and not worth paying the fees to use Houzz in my opinion.

I was using houzz for all of 2024 and part of 2025. I had 1 region and would get 1 and sometimes 2 jobs per month. I also referred houzz to a couple of friends who owned businesses in the same industry. In 2025 I decided to increase spend and purchased 4 more zones. I didn't get any jobs after the increase. I was spending 5 times more than I was originally spending. I asked if they stopped ad spend or something because I wasn't getting any jobs.

Horrible Company. When I signed up my monthly cost was around $150/month. I used the service but the package i purchased didn't do everything I wanted and it was going to cost a lot more for the single feature I needed. When my subscription increased to $200/mo I called to be told that it was so "they could stay competitive " and that I couldn't cancel for another year. I'm making it my mission to tell everyone I know this company is unethical and not use this product.

This app tried to charge my debit card $1907.44. I have no idea why it tried to charge my card money when I don't even use the app . I cancelled my membership over a month ago, before the free trial was up. So why are they trying to, out of nowhere, charge my card for $1900? I am livid right now. If I could give this app Zero stars I would but it's making me give them at least one star to post my review .

Sales team lied when signed up that subscription can be canceled or terminated anytime we are not satisfied with "anything"... the leads which are mostly not workable etc... But they won't let you cancel until your 1 year agreement is up and make sure you request the cancelation before it auto renewed otherwise you are locked for another year of "lies"... Do not sign up...!

Do not use this app!!! They make it impossible to cancel your subscription and it is extremely expensive!!! STAY AWAY!!!! They collect all email addresses that you use and switch the subscription from one to the other.... I DID NOT give them my credit card info or sign up using any other email, yet they are still charging monthly sending the invoice to our secondary email!!

Beware it has an Uncancellable Annual Subscription.👎 I though I would try it out. I signed up for monthly at a higher rate than annual as I wasn't sure about this app/service. It was not great, it didn't meet my needs. When I went to cancel they said all subscriptions are annual even if you choose monthly and pay the extra costly of monthly. Now I am stuck paying hundreds of dollars for an mediocre app I don't use! This is horrible practice!

I hire this marketing thing, the salesman it was very persuasive and promised great things, after I signed it took more than one month to setup my account just because I couldn't complete the call the day they called me, I paid $3400 for the year if I got 3 customers out of it I was lucky, I received potential customers (supposedly) they never replied back it was really weird, not a good app.

This might sound obvious, but read the fine print. You're locked in for a year. Has some cool features, but I'm giving one star just on the principle that I'm paying for a year subscription for something that I have no use for. I missed work to have a "subscription review" zoom meeting today to try to remedy this, and no one showed up. Do yourself a favor: skip this app and just give the $1668 to your preferred charity.

So far, I've had the software for about 6 months, and the first two were a learning curve. My business is: GC, electrical, lawn, and landscaping. Some jobs are reoccurring each week, and it would be helpful to put each as a time entry without having to do it manually. I purchased the software to help take out some redundancy and there still is a small amount that could be automated.

They are thieves and liars, do not sign up! They're sales force will tell you that it can be cancelled at anytime and this is not true. Aside from that the app is terrible, format of invoices cant be altered. Houzz is a scam, there is not even a phone number to call for issues only to sign up; that should say it all. Lead generating service tried to set appointments for me after I requested that the account be suspeneded due to a full work load, and being assured no leads would be generated.
