Using English? Not only will you be charged a higher delivery fee, but you also won't be offered the same deals that are available for those using Mandarin! In addition, promo codes didn't work. Really unpleasant experience. *RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER: This happens on all orders, not just one. By ordering in Mandarin I have been able to save over $11 per order. This isn't happening in certain circumstances, this is obviously a system-wide problem.

Have nothing to say. Delete the app already. The tipping system is weird. A $10 food ends up with a $20 total price. When I asked them why the customer service seemed very perfunctory, they said it was to meet the government's policy of minimum wage. They also said it depends on the delivery guy. If they meet the wage, you get to pay less in tips. Otherwise, they force you to pay extra. I asked them if the delivery guy served me for an hour, and they said yes, but it probably took him only 8 min
Delayed delivery- App allows multiple pick-ups. Fair customer service - prompt reply. but preferred in Chinese. reasonable approach to manage feedback and complaints.
My food order arrived with the bag filled with milk, the food was inedible because it was soaked in liquid. I sent photos of a bag clearly filled with liquid and I was told it was inconclusive. Not only did I just waste $40+ on my order, I had to clean up the mess it made and waste time on calls, the best they could do was compensate with a $7 coupon. Good for range of restaurants, but be mindful of the terrible customer service. Other delivery services offer superior resolution services.
App has improved a lot since last time I used it. some minor issues when ordering some thing it's a bit complex with the coupons but otherwise pretty easy to use.
Terrible. did not update me with my order, so thought it wasn't ordered. ordered with another platform and then 10 mins later they sent a message to say the food was ready to pick up. didn't let me cancel and didn't refund me. did not pick up the food. refused to reimburse me or admit a mistake on their end. also more expensive than other platforms. would never use again.
Very terrible. I requested cancel before meal was made by vendor. Service Rep refused and they manipulated system data, changed it from what is was showi driver 500m from vendor for pick up into a status showing driver was delivering 0.9km from me. Manipulated status stopped updating since then. At the end driver arrived 45 later. And system still showing driver 0.9km from me. Can't believe the company even forge data, deceit consumers. Very dishonest conduct. Don't use this app, very dodgy
The negative reviews are correct. The priced you pay if you set the app to English are much higher, and you lose all the discount coupons too. I know hungry panda comes from China, and I wanted to support having more authentic Asian restaurants that perhaps couldn't use DoorDash due to language barriers get delivery service but I can't support this pretty disgusting way that it works. Delivery also takes far too long, not sure if drivers are multi-delivering but it's just terrible service.
The interface is not very user friendly. Sometimes the restaurants are closed but not reflected in the app. Even worse instead of cancelling the order processing refund autimatically I have to wait hours to find it out and contact customer service to ask for a refund. Bad experince. Also when I reduced the quantity for my item, it removed the entire item while still shows greater than 0 quantity from user's perspective. Only found out when order was received. Disappointed.
Actually really wide arrange of available stores, generous coupons as well. As a trade off to coupon I can understand delivery being on the slow side, however, their customer support is undoubtedly the worst out of all major food delivery apps. Doesn't cater to the customer, window to apply for refund is within literally minutes, ridiculously hard to navigate.
Ordered some food for a large group. The restaurant was out of two dishes, and rather than call or ask what we wanted to do, they simply sent the order out without those two dishes. We called the restaurant to just cancel the entire order at that point, but of course they couldn't because the food had already been sent out. The only reason I saw that part of the order was cancelled was bc I downloaded the app, otherwise we would have been completely surprised. I don't blame the restaurant.
the UI can "trick" you into paying without confirmation and there's no way to cancel the order. they purposely hide their support contact info and make it extremely difficult to find so that by the time you reach them the order has been made by the shop and then they would just say "sorry about that, nothing we can do", the worst food ordering/delivery app I've used!
It took 90 minutes minimum to get food delivered although the restaurants were never more than 3 miles away. The estimated time inside the app is just a bait. The app will first give you an estimate of less 30 minutes and keeps on updating it so that you end up waiting for 90 minutes or more. Just deleted the app and will never use it again. Just went through their reviews, and found all their five star views were written by bots.
English version content is a mixture of Chinese/English, which I can deal with if the important parts are in English. Restaurant names are sometimes in Chinese only when the storefront always has the English version of the name (usa based). Besides language barriers, app is hard to navigate, the user design has a lot of bugs and functional issues, which is too many to name here. I wanted to like it because of the deals/selection, but I hope they read this and update soon. App needs lots of work.
Horrible experience I ordered around 11pm, then after over an hour they told me the order is not going to be delivered, with no explanation of why. Food was ready in 10 mins then I saw the delivery guy not going to the restaurant, then staying outside the restaurant without picking up the order. The restaurant closed at 12am, so I contacted and all I was told was, it's not going to be delivered, with no explanation at all!!! Perfect, do this to me when most restaurants are closed midnight
Used it for about two years. But last delivery broke my only hope for it. Waited hours for my food only to find an item was missing. Rest assured that they wouldn't give you any compensation for that, only the pitiful refund for the time you've wasted. Zero cost for making mistakes, nice! If you want to get your food delivery from this app, then be prepared for waiting for at least one hour, up to 3 hours.
Waited for 100 mins to get my order. The restaurant (2.5miles away) get the food ready in 20 mins. When I contacted the customer service afterwards, I've been told this was within normal delivery time. Finally they offer a coupon, of a ridiculously 3 dollars that have to be used in 3 days. If you want to stay hungry, you've find the correct app.
I have also used this app from the resturant's side. Pick up is extremely slow and often late. There is zero privacy whatsoever. This is also the only food delivery platform that I've seen without censorship of customer information whatsoever. When you place an order, your phone number, address, full name, and notes are all fully visible to all staff. Also, their translation is poor at best with the app always asking if they "splash water."
